When will we learn in Nigeria? They need your support but cannot get a decent means of transporting you. Supporters have turned to firewood that is being loaded in a truck. May God help us. RIP to the dead.

Politics / The Presidential Declaration By Osibanjo Is Heartless And Unfair To Nigerians by realglob(m): 12:23pm On Apr 11, 2022
I wish you the best of luck! You were closer to ordinary Nigerians than your “statue” boss.

How did you manage to be on the oppressors' and oppressed's sides simultaneously?

I was bothered by your deafening silence at critical moments. Were you locked up at any point during your administration’s seven years? Nigerians do not believe you are a self-sufficient man.

In your declaration, as the country’s economic leader, I wish you were reading your scorecard. It’s possible that there isn’t much to read. We’re sick of hearing the same rhetoric over and over again: instead of reading poets, read your accomplishments.

Professor Osibanjo should be ashamed of declaring his intention to run for president in a more civilized society. At a time when terrorist attacks are at an all-time high, hardship and all kinds of oddities are on the rise.

In fact, under your watch, some innocent Nigerians are being held captive in the bush by abductors who are comfortably demanding a ransom.

Family / If You've Become A Punching Bag In Your Marriage, Leave - A Catholic Priest by realglob(m): 3:32pm On Apr 10, 2022
A Catholic priest from the Abuja Archdiocese tells his congregation about Osinachi's death:

If you've become a punching bag in your marriage, leave.

Fr. Benneth Umeh spoke about the Jewish people's crowd mentality, comparing it to why many marriages are failing today.

Today, being the celebration of the palm Sunday, which marks the day when Jesus triumphantly rode into Jerusalem a week before his resurrection. Fr. Benneth Umeh spoke about the crowd mentality of the Jewish people.

The same people who shouted Hossana in the highest would be the same crowd to soon shout crucify him. He warns his parishioners about crowd mentality, especially those who seek validation from people.

He opined that the same people you don't want to appear weak to would be the same people who would say that you were foolish.

Recounting the story of Osinachi the Ekweme singer, he told his congregation that it is very possible that she was subjected to domestic violence but did not want people to know about it, most likely to protect the family's image.

It's even worse if someone tells you that domestic violence is your cross to bear. Jesus loves you and would not want you to die as a result of a beating husband; he died on the cross for you.

He urged all men and women who are subjected to serious domestic abuse that threatens their lives to take a break. The Catholic Church preaches for better or for worse, but it has made provisions for separation when there is a risk of death.

Allow people to say whatever they want about your marriage, but please protect your life first. The people you're trying to hide your misery from and paint a better picture for may be in a worse situation.

Never let yourself believe that you are suffering because God wants you to suffer at that time. God does not cause you to suffer, so don't blame God for your misery when it could be your own fault.

This point is fallacious.

1. It is a sign that the minister is fake when he is being advertised ahead of a church program as a healer.

This is off-point.

How is the point a fallacy?
Politics / Re: Pandora Papers: Inside Peter Obi’s Secret Businesses — And How He Broke The Law by realglob(m): 12:12pm On Oct 04, 2021
Nonpartisan1:
Peter Obi the lying crook broke 3 Laws of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria:

1. He secretly set up Chains of business concerns abroad 4 years after becoming Governor, ( Probably from the money he stole from Anambra state common patrimony)

Offence:
In Nigeria, a person is statutorily obligated to withdraw from engaging in or directing a private business, except if it is farming, upon becoming a public officer, Section Six (6) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act stipulates.

2. Peter IPOB Obi, did not declare this asset, even after stealing Anambra people's money to establish them.

Offence:
Nigerian public officers are required to declare “immediately after taking office and thereafter all” their properties, assets, and liabilities and those of his (or her) unmarried children under the age of eighteen years,” Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution stipulates (Section 11, Part of the Fifth Schedule).

3. He operated a foreign account while serving as Governor of Anambra state.
The former governor could be charged with failing to declare his offshore holdings and their associated assets and operating foreign accounts while being a public officer.

Offence:
The Nigerian constitution and the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act forbid a public officer from maintaining or operating a bank account outside Nigeria. However, as a governor, Mr. Obi continued to operate and maintain foreign accounts, including with Lloyds TSB.

These crooks from the rising sun. When they are not into drugs, 419, terrorism, they are definitely into something more sinister like the case of the soft spoken thief called Peter Obi.

Tufiakwa.

Peter Obi is a lesser evil.
They are not exposing sponsors of Boko Haram and bandits but are wasting money to investigate Peter Obi. If that man was not clean, they would not be digging this far to indicate him.
Nigeria does not worth having Peter Obi as a public servant.

I would have suggested Kuwait but it's policies are unclear. While the minimum wage is a mere $200, the average kuwaiti citizen earns times 17 of that, plus the relatively lack of Nigerians there makes getting reliable info elusive. Where does your sponsorer lives?

Is this minimum wage on monthly or weekly basis?

My friend’s elder brother told him to do an international passport and get ready to leave this country.
His brother mentioned three countries that he knows nothing about, namely, Kuwait, Berlin, and Poland.

The person in question has a degree in philosophy and religious studies.
I think there is an opportunity for him to do a master's degree if he chooses to go to Poland.

Please your objective advice is needed here to help my friend to decide his future.
Which country should he go to and why?

Politics / Afghanistan: A Screenshot Of A Gubernatorial Candidate Celebrating Taliban Takeo by realglob(m): 8:53am On Aug 17, 2021
I came across a screenshot of a Kano State gubernatorial candidate celebrating Taliban take over.

The screenshot is not just weird but disturbing. When the world is sympathizing with the Afghans for what has befallen them, a supposed senior citizen who is enjoying Democracy is rejoicing and celebrating a terrorist take over.

Tomorrow when he emerges as a governor, he will be worse than those who have described banditry as a business.
