Romance › Re: What Are You Doing With A Man That Can't Meet Your Needs? by REALretep(m): 8:41am On Mar 12, 2023 |
EriMma1: No no no... You tell me?
A man who cannot meet your needs should not be anywhere around you because he'll only be a stumbling block to your progress and cause you to miss out on great opportunities that would have come your way through those who understand the assignment. Don't ever let such men around you.
I've never been an advocate for starting small with a man after my past experiences even before the economy got this bad not to talk of now that it has plunged deep into meltdown.
A lot of ladies who went into such mess in the early 2000s are still carrying the family till today while the men are struggling to meet up with no headways or hopes in sight. This takes me to the next point.
As a single man still struggling, don't ever brainwash or be brainwashed by any girl to go into marriage and manage with you until things get better. Y'all have seen that e go better has become the prayer of a poor man. So run away from such trap. Make it to a reasonable level first before going for a woman.
I don't want to begin to go into details of the eventualities that may likely occur and become very grave due to inability to tackle them financially. Use your tongue to count your teeth.
I remember a long time ago when I was dating one struggling guy. The aunty asked him a very good question I'll never forget in my life and that taught me a lesson I've been applying in life's situations.
He invited me to come spend the weekend with him that the aunt was around so I could feel relaxed. When I got there and the aunty saw me, she called him aside and asked him the following. You know we are struggling to eat in this house. Your salary is not enough and you brought in a young girl. What if there's an emergency in the course of her stay, what will you do? How will you go about it? When he told me, I became scared and thought the aunt was right. I now remembered one certain time I visited a friend. So that night we strolled out to buy suya. I don't know if it was from the suya paper or the unhygienic environment it was prepared that gave me food poison. That night, I didn't know where I was. Serious stomach cramps and I was just coiling up in the room that day holding my stomach. Again this lawyer guy no get shishi to even take me to the nearest clinic. In his confusion he gave me garlic to chew. That seemed to help a little but omor, I broke up with him.
So, with this few points of mine, I believe iv been able to convince and not confuse you on the need to stay away from a man that cannot cater for your needs.
If you attack me, it shows you're a struggling guy or dating a struggling guy. Una eyes go soon clear. My own don clear tey tey.
Enjoy. While I agree with your submission on the basis that the society expects a man to be able to cater for the needs of his family, I however feel I should remind you that all that glitters is not gold.
Don't focus your mind wholly on a man's economic status and forget other equally important marital matters. It's a crazy world we live in. Let God guide your steps.

They want to use the courts to destroy evidence of rigging which will land them in jail.
Tinubu's application to inspect electoral materials is also to enable him be the first to inspect the BVAS and use that opportunity to manipulate it and destroy evidence

farous: Please kindly advise for I have been trying to manage this challenge. Honestly I have fallen into the category of men that have a higher sex.ual feelings with women with very massive backside(yash) than the tiny or slim one and my partner did not fall into such category of my choice. This has made me no longer have sex.ual feelings for her anymore and I don't want her to know the reason behind this.
I quickly got aroused on sighting ladies whose backside is atleast times three to four of her own as I feeling like touching and bouncing on extra large size booty alone puts me in the mood. Infact nothing that my partner do again that put me in the mood and she is worried about my non sex.ual feelings from me to her anymore but I don't want to tell her the reason. Atimes I think whether I should jokingly tell her about booty enlargement but i prefer it natural than artificial
Even when moving together with her and I sight this group of women,I will almost lose control but will conceal it from her.
One may ask whether I never see her like that before going to her, please don't ask so for that's a long story, all I needed is advice/opinion to go about this challenge. If you feel you can't deal with that anymore, then please do let her go so you will both be free from this emotional torture. What you are feeling is not out of place. Just think deeply to determine if your desire for big nyash supercedes your desire for her other good qualities. Don't also forget that no lady has all you desire in a woman 100%

Amalekki: Between the two extremes you painted with those words is another word entrenched in wisdom called DISCRETION.
Using extremes like you just did, think of a land grabbing mob chasing after your father who just ran into your backyard and safely hidden by the poultry house. Would you go ahead with truth, openness, and honesty?
We have cultural differences. Being raised by an extended family as your parents is part of our culture and disclosure is uncalled for, unless absolutely necessary. There's always a price to pay for any choice one makes
I agree with you that cultural values and upbringing play roles in this matter

Amalekki: I don't buy this oyinbo mentality and we can debate the merits and demerits if you want. Well... it's a matter of choice Nothing can be hidden forever on earth.
Truth, openness and honesty have their prices. Lies, secrecy and dishonesty also have their prices.
I rather pay the price for the former than the latter.

I have cried my eyes out several times, asking God why all these. I don't mind being the sacrificial lamb for my family. I want them to be happy and live a fulfilled life😭 In addition... you can't keep her and her brother in the dark any longer. The earlier they understand their situation, the better. You need to let them know about their biological parents. It's definitely going to hurt but they definitely need to know.

Politics › Re: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by REALretep(m): 11:19am On Feb 17, 2023 |
linearity: I can see what you are seeing, and you are not off the mark.
However, you should understand that, since we are using Nigeria as a special case here, the Presidency aka Executive Branch is not the only at fault here.
All three Branches of Government are corrupt, the Courts are no longer the ‘last hope’ of the common man. It appear ‘justice’ goes to the highest bidder today and this have led to the general distrust of the System of Justice in Nigeria.
If there is distrust for the Judiciary, such distrusts are extended to their rulings and orders as well.
What gives weight, deference and reference to a Court Order is not merely because the Order came from the Court, it is because the citizens agreed to give force to that Order, the citizens gives power to Court Order, they enforce it and ensure it is carried out. But, if those same citizens distrust the Courts as Court of Justice, their Orders are worthless and meaningless.
I have never seen a Judge walking on the streets to enforce their Orders, they rely on the same society and citizens who now distrust them to do that.
It is possible that, the Executive Branch is having the same distrust towards these Court Orders just like the society and citizens, hence the lack of zeal to abide by them. Yes, this is absolutely wrong and should not be the case, but in a lawless society anything goes.
Same goes to the Legislative Branch & Politicians in Nigeria, they are all self centered thieves seeking the next novel way to siphon the Government and steal from the people. I agree with you
|
Politics › Re: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by REALretep(m): 8:53am On Feb 17, 2023 |
linearity: I guess you are joking?
Presidential Executive Orders (EO) are usually Administrative policy blueprints about hoe te Executive Branch intend to run a particular parastatal or ministry.
They do not create new laws, they don’t contradict existing laws and they don’t contradict the Supreme Court.
E.g. The Presidency can issue an EO that states CBN will not collect old Naira notes again. That EO is only valid as long as there is no Supreme Court or law saying otherwise.
On the Surface, Supreme Court are seen to be the most powerful, but they are not, they merely interpret the constitution and exiting law. The Legislative Branch can pass a new bill or constitutional amendment that invalidates a Supreme Court Order and if the bill is signed into law, it supersedes the the Supreme Court order.
They can also do that to a Presidential EO, but since the President will be needed to sign the bill into law and would not normally sign a bill that challenges their EO into law, the Legislative Branch would need the numbers to overcome the President’s veto. Your submission holds true when the executive arm of government has regard for the rule of law. In this case where the executive has no regard for the rule of law or only enforces court decisions when convenient, then your submission is false.
Buhari has repeatedly shown absolutely no regard for the rule of law. He only obeys court decisions when they serve his purpose. Therefore, in his administration, presidential executive orders reigns supreme above judicial or even legislative pronouncements

Now if a bank follows the earlier directive from the cbn(S it is now that directive has been halted).Do you know the magnitude of 'wahala ' the cbn will be involved when it is brought to the knowledge of the supreme court. baralatie: Ok It means the judgement will be copied to the CBN,office of the president, minister of finance and the bankers union . So it also means that the CBN governor will needd to issue a fr ah directive to all the banks Then the CBN will need to assembly it's legal team to go to the supreme court on this issue first before another directive can be given
Now if the Emefiele disregards the supreme court ...........the supreme court can automatically ask for his arrest
I dey look DSS and NASS with very sharp crocodile mouth and shark teeth Buhari doesn't obey court orders. FG may device a smart way of sidelining the order. Banks may still not collect old notes after 10th
