Good morning mamas. Please help a fellow mama who is seriously worried.

Yesterday, my son started "purging". He pooped about 4 times yesterday, the first two was normal but others were slimmy and very loose.

We do combi feeding. This morning we had two feeding sessions of breastmilk and he didn't poop. Around 6am, he woke up to eat and I gave him formula. In less than 5 minutes he pooped (same yellow slimmy poop with small small seeds.)

I'm suspecting the formula is the culprit here, and I'm thinking of changing it today, as I cannot do exclusive due to baby's large appetite. We have been using Nan 1 since birth. Please suggest other formulas we can switch to that won't upset him. He is 7 weeks old.

Try Lactogen 1

Mamas please I need advice. My one month old baby has nasal congestion (His nose feels stuffy from the way he breaths). He feels uncomfortable and he has been sneezing a bit. No fever ...please is there anything I can do for relief?

Add a few drops of silverbird oil into his hair oil and apply to his soft part of his head and cover with cap so it will sooth him gradually( pls don't apply the eucalyptus oil directly to his hair)

Good evening mamas, please my 9 month old babies's tongues seem dirty (I guess due to food and milk residue). Can it be cleaned? If yes, how? Thanks.

Get glycerin from the pharmacy then soak a little on cottonwood and dilute with little water to clean the tongue.(wrap the cottonwool round your finger so you can control the movement in ur child's mouth and and not go too deep)

Hi mamas, please can an experienced mama tell me the difference between NAN optipro 1, and NAN optipro 2. A friend advised me to continue with Nan 1 even when my baby crosses 6 months as it is more nutritious. Is it advisable?

I used both and it was very okay

A guy in the neighbourhood, lost his wallet. That has his atm cards, about 30k cash and other stuff in a bus and was totally stranded.

Out of nowhere, he got a call from a lady of about 25 years of age. They agreed on a meeting point, and she handed over everything to him as it was before the wallet was lost.

I know the amount isn't a life changing sum of money but, it can handle one or two immediate needs of an average person.

So, for her to return the wallet intact. She earns my ultimate respect and restores my hope that indeed, inspite of the difficulties caused by COVID 19 and bad governance someone still chose to be honest.

What do you think?
What's that that has made you happy and you can't wait to share? What is eating you up inside? If you don't mind sharing.

God sent Devine helpers to me and I was able to gather funds to pay my rent in full. It's a miracle.

What do you think is the most famous masculine and feminine name in your ethnic group. Or other ethnic group if you may.

Well I'm Igbo so I think
Emeka for males
Chioma or Chidinma for female.

Then if I am permitted for Yorubas I think Femi and Funke.

Whilst Hausa I am guessing Musa.

Ada or chi..... for female

Chukwu.... For male

the friend is clean bro

She informed the whole world minutes after she noticed she has been kidnapped

The only problem was police didn't swing into action immediately, they had to wait 48 hours

Go to Twitter and check

It's a second thought bro, social media is not enough for u to know the real truth.

Anything can happen ,what if her raising alarm was a way of diverting attention away from being investigated or suspected of knowing about it.

Only God knows the truth of those involved in her death. People can say anything on social media.

This may be one of the reasons people turn a blind eye when they see others in distress. The friend helped by providing all the information her friend supplied her with, and frantically calling for help, and here you are, suggesting she may be complicit.

It was just a second thought. A lot of evil things happens even with so called 'friend', relative or family. The enemy lies within in most cases. It's a good thing to speak out when you notice someone in distress.

On the 29th of April, a Twitter user @Umohuduak1 raised alarm over her missing friend

https://www.nairaland.com/6531273/lady-goes-missing-during-job

Few minutes ago, her friend @Umohuduak1 that raised the alarm just posted this on Twitter.

https://twitter.com/Intel_PoolNg/status/1388765446455930883?s=19

Why are humans so wicked? Why!!!

I pray her friends and family find the strength to bear this loss.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqxYPsm4EF0

May her soul rest in peace.

On a 2nd thought I feel her friend who raised the alarm should also be investigated and her phone records and conversations checked. A lot of strange things happen whereby the friend might even be the one behind her abduction and death.

How come she's the only one who knew of her detailed interview trip ?

How come she was able to give out a guy's name as the suspect probably it was a genuine job request but the details was used as a distraction.

Probably raised alarm to avoid being traced or suspected.

May God expose all those behind her death very soon

Yes your action was too harsh haba, she has seen you as a benefactor and probably placed you as a brother to her.You should have talked to her politely and make her realize her mistakes. It's God's favor your looking for in the first place, that's y u accommodated her.pls pick her calls and sit her down, make her realize her mistakes and help her soul for God's sake.God bless you

Did you comprehend the op's write up or u don't understand English!

You don't have any legal right to lock her out of her personal belongings (e.g clothes). If you're not comfortable with her attitude simply tell her to start looking for accommodation.

Moreover, from your narratives I can't see anywhere the girl has wronged you. You're are just acting bossy because its your house cool

Allow her to enter the house.

Am sure u will do worse if it was you, mcheww

Some guys are trying really hard to be funny when they see a lady they like... some go as far as cracking old jokes by basketmouth or Akpororo...

Recently I heard the most unbelievable joke that shook me... it was so lame that I felt sorry for the guy. The guy was then trying to appear intelligent as I overheard him say Bill Gates is the owner of Facebook and 2go grin

For me if you have a good sense of humor

Everyone, thank you so much for your honest replies. God bless you all.

Believe it or not, after reading through all these posts, a strange kind of peace came over me.

I called my hubby and we discussed at length and even started planing ahead.

I will surely come back here to encourage someone else too sometime soon.

Most times, I believe God speaks through people.

May the will of God be done.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate.

Once again, God bless.

Congrats

I hope your husband will not relax in his responsibilities as a man because you earn much and i hope he will also appriciate and support you in his own way, i believe God provided this job for you to support him humbly. Encourage him too.

Good luck

Draslo:
I'm not going to bore you with an epistle.
We dated between 2016-17. We had a mutual break-up cause I went to Ghana for a bit (5 months. I needed a change of scenery). We spoke and chatted at intervals before we both ghosted each other. I heard she got married to a big shot Abuja guy in 2019. Fast forward to Saturday evening this past weekend, I got a message on Instagram from her. Long story short, she opened up a beauty spa in Abuja in December. She wants me to help her manage it. She knows I have my commitments in Lagos but wants to take advantage of the fact that I visit Abuja once or twice a month. She proposes that I can come only on weekends since my weekdays are almost fully engaged, ensure her books are balanced and she'll pay for my return flight every Friday. I asked if her husband is aware of who I am. She stuttered and I just knew he doesn't. She will pay well but it's not about the money. It's more like granting a favour but I feel she's got an ulterior motive somewhere. And me, I have a soft spot for her and my flesh is very, very weak.

Do you think I'm right? Or maybe I'm just being paranoid?

Modified.
I'm sorry to say but many of you reason like kids. I have no intention of sleeping with her. I'm principled never to sleep with any of my exes. Do you have any idea how many women are on this planet? What is wrong with the lot of you? I just find it hard to turn her down because she's such a good person.

Feelings will awaken and your flesh may eventually get weak as a single guy besides you don't know her deep intentions. You need to be careful
