From my experience, I know it's a very bad idea.

There was this lady back then that was so close to me that I had to find a way to free myself from.

First, I knew she was dating but she confided so much in me that it began to worry me.

There was nothing that has happened in that relationship that I wasn't aware of. She would ask questions like "if yhur sister is dating someone who does this and that, will yhu still advise her to continue with him?."
I would then give my view and advice o. Then later she would now open up to me it's her boyfriend.


The trust was so much that, sometimes I felt she was just naive or not really into the guy, because I don't see why I have to know about what's going on in yhur relationship as a friend.


To cut the story short, everything finally ended when I relocated.....now very far from her. She has many times asked to come visit me. Now, imagine I will give in to such demand. If someone will make a journey of over 7 hours to come see yhu, she has to at least, sleep over.

Such trust is too wreckless for my liking and I can't imagine a woman I am dating doing the same with another guy not to even talk of someone yhu'r even married to. I won't and I can never take advantage of her but the thought of my own partner doing the same with another feels very stupid to me.

Whatever works for you. Just that in this world today alot have happened in the name of friendship.

I don't think it's so necessary for a female to keep male friends and I don't see why I want female friends even while just dating.


Many people cross the line at times, so it's good for us to just avoid it.

That's why yhu have to be yhur partner's best friend. Understand her and be there for her, trust me she wouldn't need any other male friend.


Imagine yhur wife going to visit another man in the name of friendship. Maybe even going to cook for him and do some house chores there because they are good friends.
