During an interview with AriseTV, Dino Melaye disclosed that Governor Wike of River State was the cause of Peter Obi's departure from the PDP to the Labour Party. Melaye attributed their loss in the presidential election to Wike's behavior, stating that he supported the Chris Uba faction during the delegate congress, which led to Obi's exit from the PDP. To learn more about Melaye's revelations, you can watch the brief clip on AriseTV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFxdPo0YBUg Alot revealed in this short clip by Dino.. |
Kinda childish to me but then, it's a lesson that you don't throw stones when you live in a glass house. Lol |
I am beginning to really believe this man is naturally like this and not like your regular Nigerian politicians.

This morning at the airport, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, was spotted waiting in line to board a plane. Despite being hailed and praised by bystanders for his humility, he refused to jump the queue and waited patiently for his turn to board. At one point, someone tried to help him with his luggage, but he politely declined. A bystander filming the incident remarked on Mr. Obi's humility. BATified2023:And how did you come into that conclusion that I am Igbo, sir? I am a lover of knowledge and whenever I see a fountain of it, I am always in awe..... |
Angelfrost:Bro, I am her big fan right now. I have never read any of her books before but I need a load of them now! I will check out the ones you mentioned. |
My respect for this woman is on another level right now. The way she responds to questions, the smoothness and confidence. This woman is fire. Forget who supports who, please respect must be given to whom it's due. She doesn't struggle with words, everything comes out smoothly..... How can one person be this intelligent? 😭

In a recent interview on Arise TV, acclaimed Nigerian author and feminist icon Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie defended her open letter to US President Joe Biden titled "Nigeria's Hollow Democracy". The letter called out the US for congratulating the winner of Nigeria's controversial presidential election in 2023, despite evidence of manipulation and irregularities. During the interview, Adichie also took the opportunity to school Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka on the meaning of the word "fascist". She stated that swearing in a person who has not met the requirements of the constitution is akin to ending democracy. She criticized the responses of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters to her article as "funny reading the juvenile fulminations of non-juvenile people." Adichie's open letter, which was widely shared on social media, expressed the frustrations of many Nigerians with their country's political system. She called on Biden to support the fight for democracy and human rights in Nigeria and to hold the Nigerian government accountable for their actions. In her letter, Adichie accused the Nigerian government of deliberately manipulating the election and suppressing the opposition. She also criticized the US for their "two-facedness" when it comes to Africa, pointing out that while they condemn election interference in other countries, they fail to do the same in Nigeria. Adichie's open letter sparked a lot of discussion and debate on social media, with many Nigerians supporting her call for action. Some also criticized her for relying on the US to solve Nigeria's problems, arguing that it was up to Nigerians to fight for their own democracy. In conclusion, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has once again used her platform to speak truth to power and highlight the issues facing her country. Her open letter to Joe Biden has sparked an important conversation about democracy and human rights in Nigeria, and it remains to be seen if her call for action will be heeded. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUAxiUOm3lA |

This thread was created over a week ago, it didn't get the necessary attention, I am guessing the man's claim is true. https://www.nairaland.com/7627984/man-claims-possession-documents-alleging |

He said everything is in Lagos.

Nigerian musician Davido recently shared his thoughts on the differences between Nigeria and Ghana in an interview on the American radio show, Ebro Laura Stylez and Rosenberg. According to Davido, Nigeria, especially Lagos State, can be compared to New York City, while Ghana can be compared to California. He explained that Lagos is a city that has everything - the good and the bad - and that if someone can survive there, they can survive anywhere. Lagos is home to beautiful beaches, islands such as Victoria Island, Banana Island, and Ikoyi, and impressive architecture. In contrast, Ghana is a more peaceful and vacation-like destination due to its open spaces and fewer people. Davido's comments provide an interesting perspective on the two African countries and their differences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GyD3RmZ4Ag Lagos is like New York and Ghana is like California: Davido Compares Lagos to Ghana. |
Before now, the terms weren't clear to me but I had to research to understand and know the gravity of the two terms: "Interim and parallel government". If Osinbajo supported "PARALLEL" government in 2015 and saw nothing inciting about it, why should a lesser term like "INTERIM" be seen as provocative and inciting? |
Mynd44 what is your opinion on this particular thread? Do you think it isn't worth debating on? I mean, this can be an eye opener to alot of us here. |
Meaning this man's claim here maybe right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lNJDmfsvG8?list=PLT8TcRkU3BPSEF1yvLkbmKW4WwYPWUMMb |
