What about a parallel government? https://www.nairaland.com/7643646/interim-government-osinbajos-view-parallel |
Meanwhile, let's educate ourselves a little on the terms: Parallel Government and Interim Government. An interim government and a parallel government are two different types of governmental structures that can arise in certain circumstances. An interim government is a temporary government that is put in place in a country during a period of transition. This can happen when there is a change in the leadership of a country due to an unexpected event such as death or resignation of a leader, or when a country is undergoing a major political transition such as a revolution or a change in constitution. The interim government is tasked with maintaining stability and continuity until a permanent government can be established through democratic processes such as elections. On the other hand, a parallel government is a structure that operates alongside an existing government, but is not recognized as legitimate by the established government. This can happen when a group or organization claims to represent a particular constituency or ideology, and establishes its own governance structures, often in opposition to the existing government. The parallel government can operate in secret or openly, and may engage in activities such as providing social services or even taking military action against the established government. In summary, an interim government is a temporary government that is recognized as legitimate and tasked with maintaining stability during a period of transition, while a parallel government is a structure that operates outside the recognized government and is often in opposition to it. |
Recently, there have been discussions surrounding the possibility of an interim government in Nigeria due to perceived illegalities in the 2023 elections. There are allegations that certain individuals are planning this interim government, with the current ruling party, APC, pointing fingers at the Labour Party. However, no one has officially identified the individuals behind the plan. A video has surfaced from an interview in 2015 with Osinbajo, the current vice president of APC, regarding the 2015 presidential election. In the interview, the presenter asked Osinbajo about allegations that the APC was planning to form a parallel government (a statement credited to the APC Chairman). Osinbajo didn't deny the allegation instead stated that there was nothing inciting about it. You can watch the short clip to hear Osinbajo's explanation on why forming a parallel government is not inciting in 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZxLpFBz56A |

A young woman was seen crying uncontrollably after experiencing a heartbreak from her boyfriend, who she revealed is from the Isoko ethnic group. She expressed her frustration, stating that she had heard from others that Isoko men tend to behave in this way. Her friends tried to comfort her and agreed with her assertion that Urhobo Isoko men are often unfaithful, with one of them even sharing a personal anecdote about their own father. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4l1Wz_02aA |
We should approach emerging issues with impartiality and not let biases cloud our judgement. If someone is planning to establish an interim government, we should identify the person or group involved and address the issue directly instead of avoiding it. The constant chatter and noise surrounding this topic is becoming overwhelming. The current government in power is APC, so why is it so difficult to identify those involved? The pervasive propaganda is causing confusion and leading some to believe in false information, such as the leaked audio clip between Bishop and Obi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9OIDdc1JbY It's crucial that we prioritize honesty and integrity in our national affairs. I created this thread for critical reasoning but the mods ain't helping matter too. https://www.nairaland.com/7639912/leaked-phone-call-peter-obi |

What this simply means is that, if you say anything against men that turn themselves into women or women that turn themselves into men you will be heavily punished for it. You most not abuse, bully or protest against them at all!

Falz and Vector's latest release titled "Mr. Yakubu" has been making waves online. During an interview with Arise TV, Falz was asked about the motivation behind the song. He explained that it is a reflection of recent events surrounding the election and the alleged irregularities that occurred. Falz emphasized that the song is self-explanatory and encourages listeners to pay attention to the lyrics and visuals in the accompanying video to understand the message being conveyed. Falz was asked in the interview about his previous support for INEC's voter awareness campaigns, and why he had turned away from them. He explained that it was due to his discontent with INEC's illegal actions Prior to the interview, a preview of the music video was shown, prompting the presenter to inquire about the potential for censorship, especially given the banning of Falz's 2018 hit "This is Nigeria" by the National Broadcasting Commission for being deemed "vulgar and unfit" for broadcast. The banned music video was also briefly shown during the interview. Falz maintains that music is a form of artistic expression.
