prince985:So in your mind, you're wiser than everybody... Including the international bodies. I pray you don't take everything to be scam including your future wife's labour |
samsam2019:Some day, you will know who's really mentally unwell...how old are you? Christianity has come along way and yet no civilization or knowledge of any kind has been able to quench it... Many have said more than you said but later in their lives understood that they were only foolish. Someday you'll know. That's if you want to really know. |
MizTyna:What you don't know is always bigger than you...those books you've read that makes you acclaim yourself as agnostic lack potency to give life. |
Caseless:Stop saying what you know nothing about... If you have not better things to say just keep shut. Don't allow your brain to control you unwisely all in the name of 'keeping it real'. |
frank317:You think you know, you think you've got everything figured out...but I assure you, you know only the physical... Spiritual understanding eludes you. Clap for your self who's head has not been messed up. Someday you'll know that life is spiritual, and spiritual beget the physical. |
As shared on www.fixmeblog.com Dear fixmeblog, Please i need some advice because i have been praying about this but i am yet to come up with a final decision There’s this friend of mine who is planning to go into ministry, we were roommate back in school, we stayed together three years until our graduation and he used to joke about becoming a pastor after school and we both used to laugh about it. But as life would have it, we graduated years ago, (three years and counting) and this my friend has not applied for any job. I got a teaching job through the help of my uncle, that’s what i have been doing for a year plus. Now this friend of mine is planning to open his own church and he wants me to quit my job and join him. i have tried discouraging him about it but he is resolute about it, he keeps saying he has been called to be a pastor, he reminds me of those days in school when he used to tell me about it. three months ago a man who has promised to support him gave him part of his land to start the church. The thing is becoming real and Somehow am beginning to believe him, i am planning on quitting my job so that i can work for God because i am like the only one he shares everything with, we are more like brothers and i don’t want to let him down. But sometimes it feels as though am going into it blindly. i have spoken to my parents about it my mum is in support but my dad is totally against it. I cannot even concentrate on my job anymore as my mind is no longer there… I decided to share it here so that i can have an outside view of it. this is a serious issue that concerns my life so i need your advice please. Considering the present state of the nation, it leaves one with some degree of worries, more worrisome is the mentality of the youths of this great nation… It is obvious the nation is in Economic crisis, it is also a known fact that our leaders have performed below par. Yet in all these, what has been the reaction of the people? All we hear is complains, lamentation, agitation, and unproductive arguments…some youths have even taken it upon themselves to be faithfully committed to the newspaper stands for no other thing than to argue about which political party the country has fared better. little wonder the country is where it is today- when a nation is void of critical thinkers the future becomes bleak. When would our youths realize that complains without action never changes a thing? Even if you pride yourself to be a social critic, when would you realize that no social critic ever changed the world? When the world trade center was destroyed by terrorist in American (September 11th 2001)…Thinkers went into action, the wise ones began to think of the need for security inventions that would detect such kind of attack before it happens, and that sprung up more security firms and security training companies. The moral is this- In time of trouble you don’t panic, you prepare. You don’t panic, you plan. Nigeria is in the moment of despair at present, our nation is in trouble as we speak… But the time has never been right for thinkers to spring up as now…Problems always come with solutions. There’s a demand on the youth of this nation to take action, not the action of carrying placards around shouting “we no go gri o, we no go gri”, Not the action of resulting to scheming how to rub your neighborhood of their belongings and cause them more pains, and yet not the action of taking to your fellow citizens on the internet with tribal bigotry ( which has become the order of the day). The situation demands action of critical thinking and analysis, the action of looking deep into yourself and asking ‘what can i do to help myself’? what can i do to become independent such that i don’t have to wait for employment rather I’ll be employer of labour. You see, the world is in need of people who can make a difference, there’s a place reserved for that boy or girl, man or woman who dares to look inward and against all odds defile the norms and look into himself for ideas, establish those ideas which in turn will brings monetary reward to him/her. That is why we celebrate those who have done so. Same reason the country stood still when a 30 year old American visited the country some weeks back in the name of Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook Founder). America that we so cherish today did not become great by the deeds of the government leaders, it has become what it is today through the share effort of the so many individuals who have within themselves develop their ideas which has in turn generated income for them and their nation. My Message Is… Instead of sitting there blaming the leaders for all your woes and misfortune, you can do something that will help you and others. Everyone has a place in this life, what you were born to become is inside you… your future is not ahead of you its inside of you. only if you’ll look, only if you’ll think differently. As we celebrate the independence of our dear Country let us reflect on these things. If the youth of this Nation adhere to this, there would be less people talking about the troubles because solutions would be everywhere for the citizenry to grasp. Remember, do not think of what your country will do for you, rather think of what you can do for your country. Hello good people, i believe a problem shared with well meaning people is half solved. I have been having issues getting approval from the Google AdSense program. Although I've read through their policies and have been trying hard to correct some things with my blog which has been successfully, nevertheless I want to ask, if the volume of a post or title is also criteria and then I wanna know the best practices as regards AdSense so as to get it right the next time I try. Thanks in advance. |
As shared on www.fixmeblog.com Dear fixmeblog, my name is Osas, i went to church today and my pastor spoke about curses, he said there are different types of curses which he mentioned about four, but I’ll major on just two, which are -Generational curse and -curse of seed time and harvest. About generational curse, he said it is a curse moving from one generation unto another. For curse of seed time and harvest, he said this are the curses we cause by ourselves, and because the bible says “seed time and harvest will never cease”, it will affect us or our children. But in my church in school, my pastors said we are free from curses, that no curse can work against us.so this is contradicting to me. Please I need clarity. As shared on www.fixmeblog.com I am a lady in my mid twenties, and a graduate. There’s this friend of my mum, they have been friends for a long time, whenever she comes, there’s always complains about her son who is overseas, she complains that he has been there for more than 5 years without coming back home, her frequent visits were becoming rather annoying until 3 months ago when my mum gave me a shocker, she told me that her friend wants me for her son, amazingly, my mum is clearly in support, she has even disclosed to her that I am still a virgin and this has further increased her desire for me to marry her son. Now we have been comnunicating, he calls me daily, twice or more a day and have been sending money, he’s now begining to call me his wife. Although am beginning to like him but am scared beacaus I don’t really know him that much, I don’t want to diasapoint my mum who has been enthusiastic about the whole thing, she raised us all as a single mum after we lost our dad. They have even gone ahead to fix December as our traditional weeding. Something keeps telling me am making a big mistake. Please I need your opinion on this. www.fixmeblog.com is a site where you can share/ask any question and you'll be fixed. |
As shared Just now on www.fixmeblog.com I have been married for more than 2 years now, which has produced an adorable baby boy. Before I married my wife, things were working perfectly with me, I was financially stable, and I had just been promoted in my place of work. Fast forward to late last year, our company started having down turns on contracts, the company’s income was drastically affected, and it started retrenching workers. Although I told my wife about the challenges but I assured her my job was safe. February this year I was eventually served a letter, and like a dream I watched myself park all my personal belongings from my office to return no more. I was devastated by this experience, and even when my wife offered to talk to her father on my behalf to get me something doing in his own private firm where my wife works I declined, I couldn’t imagine myself being a junior staff to my wife and to other members of her family who work in the same firm, the same people who hold me in high esteem. But now reality is setting in, my year’s savings is gradually winding and I still have not figured out what I must do to lift myself back to my glory days, although my wife seems calm about the whole thing but I know it’s just a matter of time before the complains start rolling in. Is there any help or advice I can get here? You can refer to me as Emmanuel. Source: http://www.fixmeblog.com/i-lost-my-job-and-am-devastated-how-do-i-get-back-to-my-glory-days/ |

As shared on www.fixmeblog.com. This is an issue a reader on www.fixmeblog.com shared hi. I and my wife have been married for a year and since we got married I have noticed that she is not happy. she has never been happy. paid her dowry when she was in the university and her parents assured me she will be accommodating to me but till today she hardly looks at me with joy in her heart. she always used to smile when I go to her house to visit her parents but now, she seldom smiles and is never amused. my other wives have nicknamed her the moody one. I have never hit her or done anything to hurt her Allah but I don’t know what else to do about her. I really want her in my life. what do I do? As shared on www.fixmeblog.com Dear fixme, I chose to remain anonymous. There’s this friend of mine, I’ve known him since 100L in the uni and we’ve gone on to become best of friends. We share so many things together. This is a very nice guy infact nice to a fault at times. But the issue is, he has this thing called ‘Bad Breath’, we joke a lot and tease each other a lot, but I’ve never had the gots to tell him about it, at first I thought he knew, but then I read an article that says “almost all the people who have Bad Breath do not even know they have it”. I really do not have a problem with it per se, because i am now used to it, but I get to feel for him when he communicate with others, I’ll be wondering how they now see him. I like my friend so much coz he’s like the most nicest person I’ve met yet, I don’t want to hurt his feelings, but i really need him to know about it so that we could both look for solution for it. My question is, how do I handle this without spoiling our relationship? To view the Epic response and also tell him what you think, go to: http://www.fixmeblog.com/how-do-i-open-up-to-my-best-friend-about-his-bad-breath/ |
