stanluiz: Stay in pdp to do what ?
What igbos need is president not Vice president. Since PDP has giving a northerner their ticket. Then Obi should also leave.
Pdp does not have the interest of the South East. I now see the reason why governor Umahi leave the party. As Obi said, if you want to go to London from Lagos, is it bus or plane you will enter? LP here is the Bus, PDP is the airplane. I do not want to think that an OBi as a VP will not be able and have the right structure to win a presidential election based on the fact that Atiku is not tribalized, it will be truly logical that after buhari, Atiku, will willfully hand over to an Easterner given the dynamics of what is going on as it concerns zoning. I do not see an Obi being a match to ATIKU,PDP, and APC. this is fact. |
Politics › Re: With Peter Obi, We’re Confident Of Winning 2023 Presidential Election – LP by redcliff: 6:47am On May 29, 2022 |
My take was that Obi should have stayed in PDP, been a VP candidate with ATIKU just like in 2019, finish his 8years and jump on to become the president. he had time on his side. This was his best bet. Obi sold the Atiku image very well in 2019 |

9gerian: I repeat. This was a personal experience that I had in 2019 on a business trip to Paris.
No jokes 2 euros for 100gb was subscribed on new line that I was given by the host partners in Paris. I confirmed and was mindful of this fact because it became part of the main consideration during the business discussion about a project whose franchise was deployed easily as-is via the internet in France (and Europe generally) because data was cheap. However, the franchisee segment of the business couldn’t be deployed as-is in Nigeria because data was quite expensive, and would prove onerous to potential franchisees.
An additional issue was the electricity supply that would also increase operating costs. Only the online aspect of the business was eventually deployed (imagine!!!).
That is why my statement was clear about the last time I personally took note (2019). However, with rising energy cost now in Europe, the rates may have changed but the difference will still be clear even if it is a 100% increase or more, else all their tv viewership which typically runs on internet streaming would be worst hit.
The bottom line is that data is very expensive in Nigeria, and some of the government officials (NCC) have repeatedly tried to address it. it could be an incentive for only new subscribers. That could be the case. True. but that is not the norm. |

Professorcplus: Thanks, I'm on DIY although, I already know necessary paints and material to use, I got some fancy paint design and sticker ideas on Ytube.
I might do a documentary for it. But First, I need to check list my budget and compare with the quote Sir kazeem d' local painter gave me which is 9k naira. ah, yea, I did not even consider that part. DIY doesnt necessarily mean you have to do all yourself, but if someone is able to do it to your taste and you were able to supervise it, that in my opinion is good enough to be classified DIY. I guess its even cheaper and less stress free with a professional result. Go for it if that is an option. |

The national assembly is where the young people are supposed to focus most of their energies on because these are the people that are making their stwepid laws that affects us daily. If we cannot have our people there, the people that have the best interest of Nigeria at heart, I am sorry to say but we would effect very little changes in the large scheme of affairs. |

9gerian: A very welcome development.
Data cost about 2 euros (less than N1,500) for 100gb in the EU and environs the last time I checked.
We are being ripped off, although lack of adequate electricity supply is the major excuse for that, especially now that diesel costs have blown the roof. can you show us where data of 100gb costs 2 euros please? |

Skyview01: Right thinking - Not sure of that. Remember a lot of igbos(IPOBs) believed Buhari was a clone. Lol. Its propaganda, just like the west is trying to make us believe that Putin is sick and will soon die. its something in that sort of line. besides, of what good has buhari been in power in the last 8years? he is as good as dead. what can we say that he has done to make our lives better since he stepped in? Then again, if you still think that you are not sure about my previous statement, you cannot use a small fraction to determine a whole. Ipob is a small fraction of the whole Igbo tribe. |

Will the Yorubas finally learn after Tinubu's ordeal? Only time will telll, but I strongly doubt that. They would rather die as slaves or in collaboration with the north than to collaborate with the SE or even listen to the voice of their reasoning. like it or not, the SE has always been right about everything that has went wrong in this political dispensation. Buhari was rejected because of what he is known to be. A fulani apologist who has the best interest of Niger more than the country he is currently ruling. Afonja, Awolowo, Abiola, Asiwaju. lol. |

The west will be quick to furck you over no matter how much you have invested in their economy, just to paint a certain picture of themselves to the world. Look at a full Abrahmovich being forced to give up his asset because of his country of origin. Can this ever happen to an American or a British person? This is part of what the East and Arabs have been fighting against. The west is a den of hypocrites. |
