I am thinking of buying note 9 pro; Chinese version with Global ROM.

I am not a fan of using the "latest" phones which are overpriced. My strategy is to stay 2 versions behind.

I have been using redmi note 5 pro for almost 4 years and no problem. Although it is the Chinese version with global rom, which I learnt is stronger.
I recently replaced the screen and battery. As it is now, I can use it for another 2 years.

Following up on this, I visited my PO earlier this morning and queried them on the delay...even showing them the mail from Adekunle. I was told to remain patient as I wasn't the only one with same problem of delay. As she said, Nigerian Customs now has an office at Awka and until they clear the said item, it'll never be released, and this takes time - not to mention the additional time it'll take Nipost to move the item after clearance. Omo I shock sha Gonna still verify this tho
To anyone residing in Anambra and making orders with Anambra address, now you know why your items are being delayed.
With the continous sit-at-home orders, backlogs go dey pile up.. Omo we go wait tire

I was at first bank to complain about declined card on my AliExpress transactions and I was told CBN had directed that they all stop international transactions with naira cards be it visa, master or whatever service provider. First bank's monthly limit for dollar transaction was 50 dollars before this development.

Access Bank has actually discontinued international transactions till further notice. Same for a number of other Nigerian banks

BTW I don't think that they meant Awka was the final destination from their response. "...waiting collection" could mean waiting to be collected by their agent & delivered to my PO or maybe not. But I seriously hope it doesn't have to do with anything "rerouting". My town is just a few km away from Awka & so I'm wondering the real reason for the delay.
I plan on visiting my PO tomorrow & showing them the mail & then asking if there's anyway they can help me get my package sorted at Awka.
I've also considered going to Awka myself to see if I can claim it directly from there.. I wonder if they'd listen to me since Awka wasn't the destination address on the package..?

[color=#0000ff]They won't respond to that enquiry AFAIK. If you have a connect at your PO, ask him to help you enquire from Awka. If you have a proxy in Awka, s/he can go to make enquiry about the package with your details. If it's for you, a rerouting request can be initiated at that instance or you initiate from your end as someone said rerouting automatically isn't available anymore.

And precisely 3months and 1 week after order, I Finally took delivery of my item. Was called to pick up yesterday from my local PO.

If you're going the free delivery route, here's a little piece of advice.

Please just make your order and get on with your life because Omo

So we upgraded to RN 10 pro. Enjoying it so far. Thanks to oga Macbeyland. Having the best price out there.

Sincerely speaking, NIPOST is far better for me than this stupid people except for the stolen tablet. NIPOST would delay it, I put dispute collect my money back. After few weeks they call me, I go collect the parcel. Which is now 100% free.
