The Land Grabbers/ Land Fighters who descended on Aina Gold Estate at Salabo, Ikorodu have violated the Lagos State Property Protection Law of 2016, by vandalizing structures on the Estate. These Omo Oniles and hoodlums should be made to face the full wrath of the law. From what we have gathered, SARS has waded into the Matter and all the parties to the dispute have been summoned to sign an Undertaking of Peaceful Co-Existence next Monday. We believe that this move should not end there. The full intervention of the Lagos State Government is needed on this Matter. Entering the Premises and Physical Structures of people and destroying their properties is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE. We want the Nigerian Police Force ( NPF ) to deploy teams of Policemen to Aina Gold Estate at Salabo and other Estates in the area, to flush out the Land Grabbers there. People should be able to go about their business on their sites without being attacked with dangerous weapons. We are also calling on the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, and other Chiefs and Baales in the Ikorodu Area of Lagos State to wade into the crisis at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu.

Our honourable Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, we look up to you for timely intervention on this matter. Eko O Ni Baje. God bless you, Sir. Amen.

Look, this is my advice for Nigerians in Canada and those who are on their way there. I wish you the best in Canada .

1. Don't compete for office jobs with white Canadians and other white immigrants.
2. Focus on Blue Collar jobs like Plumbing, Gas Engineering, Carpentry, House Building, Painting of Houses, Cleaning Business e,g Cleaning Homes, Offices and Restaurants in a Professional Way. Get some basic skills in Carpentry and Plumbing before leaving Nigeria. You can also learn cake making and catering before leaving Naija. All these Vocational jobs are a GOLDMINE in Canada .
3. Try as much as possible to be Self Employed or own your Business. You will make more money that way.
4. Learn how to buy and sell things on Ebay Canada and Kijiji. Kijiji is local to Canada. You can also sell on Ebay.com to Americans while you are in Canada.
5. Engage in Business as soon as you can save up some money. Don't work for others after 2 years in Canada.
6. Look for what you can get in Canada cheaply and ship them by Sea to Nigeria. Sell these things and make money from them. Handsome money can be made this way.
7. Don't live in the crowded Provinces like Ontario or Alberta in Canada. Go to Provinces like Manitoba, Quebec or Prince Edward Island and start a Cleaning or Carpentry Business there. Cleaning business can make you a FORTUNE.
8. Trust in God and Jesus Christ .
9. With your Canadian Passport, you should be travelling to Asia to source for products you can sell in Canada and the USA.
10. There are some dirty jobs and odd jobs that can make you serious money in Canada. Remember, BILLS are high in Canada. House Rent is HIGH and taxes are not low. Go to a Province where you can get cheap housing. And start a business in that Province.
11. Lastly, log on to YOUTUBE.COM and watch interviews granted by Mike Rowe. He does a lot of Dirty Jobs and he makes lots of money from them. Have the Mike Rowe Mentality.

Cheers .

The old Ragolis Water was really NICE. Today's version of Ragolis Water is hmmmnnnn .

This is the entrance of Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu. We have been advised by our lawyer to keep other pictures and documents confidential. No one is painting Mr Aina Olukayode in a bad light. We just want him to take his clients more seriously and find ways to assure them of the safety of their investments. Or he should pay them their full compensation. This is 2021, his clients at Salabo should not be kept in darkness about the whole matter.

Omihanifa:
Why don't you backup your claims with relevant documents and pictures of the estate you are talking about so that the mods can see genuine reasons / concern to take this to the front page

@Omihanifa, the Estate exists at Salabo, Ikorodu, Lagos State. Multi-Gold Construction Company. I will upload some pictures Asap. Thanks.

when will the application end? Thanks.

We implore the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu to intervene in the crisis going on at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu. Ikorodu is under the jurisdiction of our good and kind Governor. Land Grabbers should not be allowed to scuttle the dreams and ambitions of Nigerians who have purchased land at the Estate. We are also asking the traditional rulers in the Ikorodu area and environs to wade into the matter. We are not smearing the image of Mr Aina Olukayode ( Owner of Aina Gold Estate ). We are only fighting for Justice and Peace to reign in the Estate, so that the investments of people would not be lost forever. When a Nigerian is troubled, all Nigerians should comfort him and seek recompense for him. Thanks.

Raysleek:
90percent of these estates are fraud. I just look at them from afar. They will build only 4 houses and collect money from millions of people.

@Raysleek, you are right 100%. This is why Nigerians should be careful when buying land and building homes and factories in these Estates. The greed being exhibited by leaders of the communities where the Estates are located is too much. It is always the story of one group of land sellers showing up to say they were not part of the earlier agreement to sell lands to the Estate Developers. Then these 'Land Fighters' or 'Land Grabbers' will request for the lands to be resold, which is a very hard thing to do. Violence takes place and things go out of hand. No one cares how the fight will affect those who have innocently bought and developed these lands. No one cares how many livelihoods will be affected or destroyed due to the lust for money by the warring parties. The Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwoolu should wade into this crisis. Thanks.

sammirano:
You are not igbo yet you are quick to criticize buying land in Yoruba land. If you truly believe you are free to buy land anywhere in Nig. Then you guide your statement.

Please contribute meaningfully to the topic of this thread. Everyone knows Land Disputes are very rampant in Southwestern Nigeria, even after people have bought their lands, they still encounter difficulties. Why is it like that 85% of the time? Greedy landowners and omo oniles everywhere in Yorubaland. Look, I am Yoruba and it won't stop me from saying the TRUTH. You can come and slap me .

sammirano:
It will be more problems for you. With this mentality. The earlier the better you go snd spend that your cash in your region.

I am not Igbo, Okay? Besides, what are you trying to say here? Nigerians are free to buy land anywhere in the country. Do you even understand the issue at hand? Please contribute meaningfully to this thread. Cheers.

rottable:
This should make front page. people that intend to buy land this coming year should be careful

The Moderators of the Property Section of Nairaland should do the needful by placing this Topic/Thread on the Front Page . Nigerians need to know what is going on at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu. Please be very careful when you are buying land from these 'Estates' that continue springing up on a daily basis in Southwestern Nigeria. The Lagos State Government and Lagos State Ministry of Lands etc should wade into the crisis because People's destinies are at stake. A Guy's Snail Farm/Industry which is located within the Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu, has been vandalized and destroyed. Building materials at the Snail Farm were carted away by the land grabbers/hoodlums. People are scared of being macheted to death or hit by stray bullets of the invading Land Fighters/Land Grabbers. Why should people buy land and not be able to utilize their properties when they want to? Please, do not buy land at any Aina Gold Estate outlets until this matter at Salabo is resolved. Thanks.

Omihanifa:
no be this man way dey act Yoruba film I dey see for the poster so

@Omihanifa, yes he acts in Yoruba Movies and he is the owner of Aina Gold Estate. This is not the time for him to go on location. This is the time for him to face he crisis going on at his Estate in Salabo, Ikorodu squarely. People's lives and destinies have been put on hold because of this sad development . And what irks me is the way the company has been nonchalant towards the plight of their Customers. Who knows when the matter will be resolved through the Courts? So, people will have to wait for Months or Years before utilizing their Properties? The Lagos State Government has to wade into this matter swiftly.

Since around the 24th of October 2020, there has been trouble at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu, Lagos. Sometimes, I wonder if it is a curse to buy land in Nigeria . There are always issues with buying and developing lands in Nigeria especially in Yorubaland. Now, as a I type this complaint, People's properties have been destroyed at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu, Lagos. This is because there is a dispute concerning the lands sorrounding the Aina Gold Estate and the Estate in question itself. The crux of the matter is very shady and unclear. According to sources, the newly installed King of Isiu has laid claims to ownership of the lands in his domain which includes Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu. In late October 2020, Land Grabbers or Land Fighters moved into the area where Aina Gold Estate is located and occupied the lands there. These Land Grabbers/Land Fighters or whosoever they are were armed with guns, machetes, charms, swords ( lebe ) etc. Nobody has been allowed to continue developing their Properties there.

Then the land grabbers went on a rampage and destroyed Properties worth millions of Naira. Building materials including tiles, cement, gravel, blocks etc were carted away by these hoodlums . I have gathered from sources that the land grabbers/fighters want the land to be resold at the prices that will be favorable to them. No one knows the true nature and scale of the land dispute in question. Aina Gold Estate Management is not helping matters by shying away from what is going on in the Estate. People's Progress and Destinies are at stake . What Aina Gold Estate should have done is to call all those who have bought land at the Estate to a General Meeting and explain the situation of things to them. This display of nonchalance towards this matter at hand by Aina Gold Estate is not good or professional at all. Yet, we see the Company posting fresh adverts on Social Media ecncouraging Nigerians to buy land from it. We are calling on all concerned individuals, stakeholders, Traditional Rulers, Government Agencies etc in Lagos State to come to the rescue of innocent Nigerians who have been caught up in a land dispute they know nothing about. These people bought land from Aina Gold Estate innocently. They did not know that there are underlying ownership issues concerning the lands at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu. We need the Lagos State Government and the Obas of Ikorodu to resolve this crisis quickly so that people can move on with their lives. I am also asking Mr Aina Olukayode to put a halt to his acting profession and face the current crisis at his Estate in Salabo, Ikorodu squarely. This will keep his integrity intact and will ensure the growth of his Estate Company.

If you know what is actually going on at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu, please let us know via this thread. If you want to buy land in all these new Estates springing up daily in Nigeria, please be very careful. You could be in for a surprise that will shock you to your marrow. What is going on at Aina Gold Estate, Salabo, Ikorodu?

The borders have been opened. Imported Popcorn Maize should be widely available very soon .

Bjrokenhear003:
Hi basalt
I’m planning coming to Germany next week or so. I reside in Ireland and trust me, enjoy your life while you can and make investment back home. I have tested both of those world

My reason is I bought 7 plots of land ibeju lekki from 750k each. Now the issue of residency is, even in Ireland it’s hard to get a job after school. Only few in my set got jobs for critical skills and those others that got couldn’t get the 30K Minimum annually. I ended up hustling

If you want to get the PR as somebody rightfully said, surest way Na to get babe or pikin. Now the tricky part is if the babe insist the pikin must carry her last name, you don’t have right to that child. Most of the girls here know say Na paper you Dey find come, them go use u no be small. Shebi you wan kn**ck, you go knack your future commot and still u no go c Pali or PR or the one wey go free for you, you go pay house rent plus bills all together, this is mostly common among the black so u have to shine eyes and pray. The white u go Bleep ur pe**s commot as e no Dey do them, if u can’t they go bring another person come inside house to Dey service them. Truthfully the really educated white ones won’t do that but u go see signs of cheating and the white ones for wake up one morning call marriage over your PR don stop immediately

With German PR you can’t use it to work in any other European country as you are a resident of Germany but if your spouse is EU, then the gates are open as you can work in any EU country but your wife must be exercising her Eu treaty rights in the state

See It took me 1 year 4 months to refine my girl with both therapist, my family, people to see things in my perspective, she’s still learning but I know the insult I took from pouring water on me, throwing cartons at me, shouting and screaming, threatening to call police because I ask for my phone, throwing me out of the house severally as I sleep for school, my phone isn’t unlocked. I Neva marry am ohh, she be my last option and she knows I no Dey follow for paper as come back naija and she see my cabal, her head rest, but the feeling of he’s using me for papers still Dey her head a little till now

Even after you get the PR and passport, if the lady mean you she go say you obtained it by falsEhood and tricking her as she was down at that moment, your PR is revoked. So you have to try the other option to increase your German and get job or Canada

Lastly no think of contract marriage, if e burst for u, consider Nigeria as your final home for life as your immigration history go Dey whole of Europe

That’s why if u invest the first year hard work back home and hustle for the other year, you will be solid
Remember cash is king but it does nothing in the bank and when u are in a serious relationship here, she must know how much is your bank account balance, monthly salary and you guys will have joint account. So all those savings wey u save don enter you and her lifestyle

So think well and enjoy this time

Any answers and ideas from Nairalanders and the Nigerian Public ? Thanks.
