Food stuffs

@ Op, yes foodstuffs . However, what kind of foodstuffs? Food has several categories. Unprocessed food or Processed food? Snacks, cereals etc. A restaurant business will not be a bad idea. No matter where the Restaurant is located, you will have customers. All you need is to cook good food everyday and have affordable prices. It is also wise to locate the restaurant near a University ( If you cannot secure a space on the Campus ), Polytechnic, College of Education, Public Secondary school etc. Students love eating out a lot . Do not underestimate the amount of money you can find in the pockets of secondary school students and university undergraduates. Just cook good food everyday and watch your restaurant or canteen bombarded by students and even the public. Cook meals like Eba, Amala, Pounded Yam, Fufu and good soups. Also Rice and Beans, Yam in the morning etc. You can start with few meals and increase to different kinds of meals after 6 months. Visit a Restaurant and observe as people are coming to buy food to take home or eat there. Add cold drinks to your menu. I hope you know how to buy foodstuff and ingredients at cheap prices in the market.

You can also go into Cake Making and making Snacks. You just need to go for 3 months course in any of the catering schools in your location to learn how to make Cakes and Snacks. This should not cost you more than 40, 000 to 70,000 Naira. Or even less. Then buy the local oven, flour mixer etc. You will know what to buy to start your Pastries and Cake Business at the training school. Food business will always survive in any economy, if managed well. Thanks.

Start phone recharging business. Just generator and panel to plug phones and chargers is needed.

Then add POS to it

Then add GAME CENTRE, Buy two TV, and 2 PS Station

Then later buy two okada give to people to ride and do daily deliver

Thank me later

Yes, Game Center is a good business idea. If you can get the latest equipment for your game center, you will make good money. However, the space for the game center must have good aesthetics. Look for wall papers that have gaming photographs and graphics. Get a fridge and sell Zobo and other Cold soft drinks too ( Your Customers will want to drink something as they play the games ). Selling cold drinks will bring you more income and profit. As per the POS business, I am skeptical about it. This is because Smartphones will become more powerful as the years roll by. Nigerians will be able to perform more banking services with the phones and pay for almost everything with their Smartphones. Personally, I see the POS business in the same light as the Cybercafe business boom of 2000 to around 2012. Cybercafes are not booming again . Most of them have packed up and their owners have switched to other businesses. People now browse the internet on their phones. Gaming Centers will still be relevant for a long time, because playing games on phones consume a lot of data. I have attached images of gaming center wall papers to this post. Cheers.

May we live long on this earth to declare the good works of God in our lives. Amen. 2020 will end in a very fulfilling and joyous mode for us . We shall see January 2021 in Jesus name. Amen.

With this feeder u will prevent feed wastage

This feeder can only be used for chickens between a day old to 4 weeks. Older chickens will turn this feeders over and spill the feed in them . You can get a carpenter to knock wooden feeders together for you at an affordable price. Tell the carpenter to use heavy wood. You can even get wood scraps around to use in making the feeders.

To what end, cos this country has very limited jobs, at the end of the day, nothing has been done cos no Jobs were created.

It is not the responsibility of the government to give you a job. The Senate has just made it easier for you to get employed, by proposing to set aside the age restriction factor that has kept many Nigerians from getting the job they applied for. The government can only create an enabling environment for you to thrive. You have to look for a job yourself or create one for yourself. Government can only create civil service jobs and Federal jobs like Police, Customs, Immigration, Army, NYSC Staff etc. Even in the developed countries, it is the private sector that is creating 85% of the jobs in those places. Show some courage and responsibility and work your ass off to get that job. Cheers.

The Polytechnic vs University degree comes to mind upon reading this thread. It was said that Polytechnic HND shouldn't be discriminated and I think a law was passed. Oya enter the street go seek for jobs with your HND make you know how BSc is more valuable than HND.

Why should a Polytechnic graduate be competing for jobs with a University graduate? Polytechnics are meant to develop your technical skills and make you develop a sense of self-sufficiency. As a Polytechnic graduate, you should be able to create a job or business for yourself. I have come across many Polytechnic graduates who are naturally good with their hands and they have profitable skills, yet they are always looking to work in banks and the white collar sectors of the Nigerian economy . My brother graduated from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, and he remains very gifted when it comes to doing business and selling things. He studied Business Administration but he has never worked with his Certificate. I respect Polytechnic graduates a lot.

How are you doing today? How is your day going? My prayer is that God will continue to protect you and your family. Amen. This Coronavirus Pandemic will not claim any member of your Family. I soak you and your family with the blood of Jesus. Amen. You shall see your Wife, Husband, Aunties, Sisters, Brothers, Mothers, Fathers, Friends, Church Members, Pastors etc on January 1, 2021. Amen. Untimely death is not your portion. Amen. Thank you, Jesus.

Thank you sir buh I live around Ikorodu
is it possible for me to get at sabo

Yes, you can check Sabo at Ikorodu. Mile 12 Market @ Ketu should not be too far from you.

sodeeqsulaimon88:
Where can we get the fulani hen and which distinctive attribute do they have so as to recognise them when we see them in the market.

Check Agege Market, Mile 12 Market ( Ketu ) or any open Market with a significant number of Hausa-Fulani Nigerians selling foodstuff there. Ask the Mallam traders for their hen and cockerels. They will direct you to where to get them. I am sure you will find what you want at Agege Market. Cheers.

Northerners have money. Real money.
Forget the ones who beg for alms all about, they have money and they like marrying beautiful women. They have money and they continue loading their pockets with more money.
And at the moment they're working hard on oil, mining and industrialization.
In the mean while, they keep exploring the oils in the south, and the gold in the southwest, when they finish packing those things and south is left with nothing, they might even be the first to break from the country.
While, It's a pity you see sophisticated but senseless youths in the south calling themselves flaathead, connehead all day, while the Northerners keep making tight plans for themselves. Set of pathetic youths.

I agree with you 90%. Northerners are silent millionaires and billionaires. Maybe it is their religion that disallows them from flaunting their wealth. I have come across Northerners who control a lot of money they made legitimately from business and agriculture. They also support themselves and they are very astute businessmen. Some of the best Farms and Factories are located in Northern Nigeria. And they are advancing everyday. Their young ones are studying in the best Universities all over the World. Many young Northerners are studying in Universities in the West Midlands in England. They live in expensive flats in the City Centres of Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham etc. Southerners need to realize that a new breed of Northerners are emerging. Hmn.

Have our Governors sat down to reason it out why roads become dilapidated after repairing them? Have they thought about other alternatives besides bitumen and other materials they use in repairing the roads? Have they not wondered if the Nigerian weather is harsh to the materials they use for road repairs? We need a different approach to constructing and repairing roads.

He didn't make any MISTAKE at all.
Mine will join soon.
It's been arranged.
AMERICA is the Land of Opportunities.
But still has its demerits.

That's thoughtful of you. For six years of their lives, my Uncle's 3 children hardly stepped into the USA though they are American citizens. My Uncle search for a very good Private Secondary school with boarding facilities in Osun State. He did his due diligence and made sure that the school had all the facilities schools in America had. What he wanted his kids to experience was the Yoruba culture, speak Yoruba language and learn to see life from a Nigerian and African point of view. He knew his kids would eat Nigerian food all the time. He knew they would be disciplined by the boarding house system ( My Uncle was born and raised up in Oyo State. He attended Uni in Nigeria and did his NYSC in Nigeria ) and would be brought up in a christian atmosphere as the school owners were devoted Christians. During their holidays, My Uncle arranged with his Mother In Law for his kids to stay with her in her house. The mother of my Uncle's wife was a successful woman who had worked in Federal Government Agencies before retiring. So she took care of her daughter's children. The only time my Uncle's kids visited America in 6 years was during the Christmas and New Year season. By the time they wrote their WAEC, GCE and SAT etc, they had fully assimilated a lot of Nigerian values and culture. They were also more focused and organized. That was what my Uncle wanted . His kids also knew where they originally came from. They are better for it with the Nigerian experiece.

My Uncle in the USA sent his kids to Nigeria for their secondary school education after they completed elementary school in the States. He sent them to a private school with boarding facilities in Osun State. His kids are back in America and they are so well behaved and focused. They are really doing well as University graduates now. mrkings84:
Is it the states that Nigerians were donating billions to?
Was it into any state account that WHO, World bank, Jack Ma and co donated billions and equipment to??

Like Cross Rivers for instance, they say they don't have any covid 19 case, then NCDC should just accept it, or go establish labs and carry out massive testing or stop assuming they have the virus when they (ncdc) and buhari are just out there embezzling all the covid funds.

How do u expect these guys to accept that covid 19 is not in all Nigeria when they are cashing out big?
The other day we read here that the FCT covid 19 team went on strike cos they haven't been paid their daily 30k allowances... Who will be collecting 30k each day and will want the source of such juicy income to cease?....

I rest my case!!!

So we have people collecting 30,000 naira daily as Covid-19 Health personnel in Nigeria? Osanobua Nigeria . Some people in Nigeria are really cashing out with this Covid-19 matter.

I rest my case too .

Buy Lemons, Lime and Lemon drinks and drink it. Buy Lemons and other fresh fruit and give them to your children to consume consistently. Wear the protective masks on public transport and in crowded places as instructed by the Government. Eat good food and snacks and relax your mind. Don't stress yourself too much about this Covid-19 matter .

ceejayluv:
Does WHO have unlimited funds to give ALL the countries affected by covid?

Which countries receive the most funding from the WHO? Can you answer my question?

SirWarlock:
They actually don't . Maybe cos they think football is back and people in Nigeria are unbothered then the thing is over. They think other countries are like Nigeria that have turned ncdc twitter page into a joke

Did you even bother to read my original post? Who is saying the Coronavirus Pandemic has ended? What some of us are saying is that even the most infected nations are resuming full activities on all fronts. I am not even a football freak like that. The Corona virus is in Africa but not that devastating as other parts of the world. Malaria, Cholera etc kill more than 650 people in 3-4 moths in Nigeria, yet our population is growing . Are we really sure all these recent deaths in Nigeria are due to the Coronavirus or other ailments the deceased are battling with?

The world is resuming full activities on all fronts. Covid-19 is being phased out gradually. Why are cases of Covid-19 rising in Nigeria suddenly? Is it because of the money that will be collected from the WHO and other donor Agencies? Africa has not really been affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Let us be honest with ourselves.
