Politics / Re: Tinubu Is South-West Number One Enemy – Kasamu by RedReact: 1:14pm On Jan 05, 2014
tomakint: Kasamu is right on this one, my predictions still stand concerning Ekiti and Oyo Gubernatorial Elections that APC will lose big time. The end of Tinubu's grip in Lagos politics is near no doubt!
You see, in as much as I don't believe in party politics but individual credibility, PDP winning any of those state is going to be a huge task. For PDP to return to power in any of the south-west states might be a little bit difficult, not when the likes of Mimiko is pioneering Labour Party at present, and the Ladoja and his loyalists in Oyo are still there. They dynamics of politics in Oyo state in particular and South West in General is very strong to just tilt electoral victory to PDP like that. Mind you, there are still unresolved internal crises in this same PDP, and their opponents know how to pull their jokers to cause instability before the elections; most likely this year and prior to next year.
Besides that, these people are smart and they still use emotional sentiment/weapon to tilt favours to their sides and at present, the APC still hold that sway in the South West, although the religious card is still thrown around to bamboozle people and it's still working.

As far as I'm concerned, you will hear news across the federation in these politicians' camps very soon and then see how terrible some of them can be.

The advantages of schooling in Australia are what are obtainable as studying in Canada, except that there is no harsh weather in Canada. The only disadvantage is the place of funding; na there the real battle dey.

For one year, my dear. Their schools na something else for international students but there are advantages to them.
As per your last post on agents, you don't need them at all. Everyone that has gotten his/her visa here did so without an agent. You can do it too.
The only place you can need an agent is when the school(s) you applied to tell(s) you they don't deal with students directly, but asides that, no need of an agent.

Next is display of fireworks on the new year day. They need to start featuring African cities too on CNN or BBC displaying pyrotechnical skills on the new year day, and not only Tokyo, Hong Kong or New York.
Besides, I am very sure the empty dark space in the background of the streets will soon be lined with scrapers like the ones we see in Manhattan, New York.

Religion / Re: Why Are Christians Afraid Of Death? by RedReact: 10:50am On Jan 04, 2014
No Christian is ever afraid of death at all. Besides, a Christian doesn't die, although literally they would call it 'death', but it aint death at all but 'sleeping in the Lord'. While we are on earth, we are meant to be relevant and live as the salt of the earth and the light of the world 'cos that's what we are. Believers live in victory over death.
Besides, death is not what you see when someone does cease breathing but when he is not in Christ. wink

Family / Re: Does Phophecy Actually Works In Terms Of Life Partner? by RedReact: 1:53pm On Jan 03, 2014
I will address the situation from certain perspectives;
Sometimes, human beings are smart and end up getting confused despite the smartness. What is the Op doing with 2 ladies when he already knows the person most likely to hit the target? If that is not trying to play smart, what should it be called? Assuming the bad lady was the one that you got along with in the first place, the time she started divulging your secrets out was the time you would have known the end-point of your relationship with her. As if that was not enough, she raised her hands against you. Even if the other lady had not shown up at all, shouldn't you call it quits with her when you realized her character? When the proper lady showed up, you still clung to he, what for? How would you convince me that you didn't bring the confusion to yourself?
As per taking the names of people to pastor to pray, I will 'honorably' say it that the pastor is not sincere at all or 'pastored' your case accurately. If he had been sincere, he would have asked you to come and talk with him (or her) one-on-one or ask you to pray about it yourself (let's assume that both ladies are now of good character).
I always tell people that they are the first prophet of their lives before any other. When issues like yours come up, 'revelations' from a pastor is like a confirmation of what God has been saying, but due to the fact that majority of we christians are not cognizant of our relationship with our maker, we end up missing the time He speaks to us. Whatever the pastor says is meant to be 'secondary' to the conviction you hold yourself. This conviction does not necessarily mean you will dream or hear a loud voice screaming near your ear, but peace in your heart does it most of the time (this even happens to those who hear God audibly).

To your question (I won't be 'spirikoko' about it because that is not what is called prophecy), sometimes prophecy works and sometimes it WON'T work; reason is because for every prophecy to work there must be contribution towards making it work. The fact that a pastor says the Lord reveals to him that I will be swimming in millions does not mean I should now fold my hands and watch as things unfold with the expectation of the millions or not work towards achieving it.

Finally, if you carry your head go marry the 'slapper' thinking she would change tomorrow, na OYO you dey o wink wink

Yeah, shoprite may have the name, being a foreign brand, but I will say it does not sweep off the consumer base in the city. Others are there too and are profiting in a big way.

That is not what is called seed at all, but a thorn.
The concept of seef sowing is nonsense in the last day church, taking God to be a money doubler. Besides, the man is expected to be the spiritual head/bishop of his own home and hence help his wife understand scriptural principles.

Please folks, I need your opinion on an issue like this.
When couples are having difficulty in getting a child, why cant they look towards adoption? I think adoption can be of help in this instance and wade off unneccesary attention from the in-laws. I just reason through this many time I see things like this.
I know of a family friend that did this, adopted the baby at its early years and were able to give birth to theirs after the boy was 2 years old.

Donmams:
If the reasoning of people like you is that GEJ should continue to preside over the mindless looting of this country's resources, then it is you who is the ape
Hey man, let's reason it out together.
Is there looting of the commonwealth of the nation? YES
Has there been looting before GEJ came to power? YES
Did corruption start with GEJ? NO
Can corruption end in GEJ's tenure? YES/NO (Depending on the way he handles it).
If GEJ is not handling corruption the way I/You/we want it, should I/You/We call for his head or death? NO
Does GEJ have the right and stand to contest for election? YES
If GEJ's government is corrupt or has a loose stand on looting, what can I/You/We do? Vote him out of power by electing a more credible person.
Does a credible person have to be a northerner? NO, the credible person that has the right ideology to tackle corruption can come from any region of the country, whether Igboman, Yorubaman or Hausaman.
Has war ever solved anything in the world? NO and NEVER

I made mention of 'reason like an ape', why? Because Africans like you cannot reason beyond WAR! WAR!! WAR!!! when it is not a curse. I gave you examples of countries that have gone through the so called war and what has become of them today, and I also listed the ones that are going through the same war right now; all from this same Africa. A continent too blessed to dust and defeat any continent on planet earth in terms of brain, resources, and even beauty with moral dexterity, yet all we want to claim or boast of is WAR. Does that make sense to you? Is it only Africans that are on earth? Is it a curse?
Who comes out just a day and start shouting war, if not one that has got its medulla superimposed with that of an ape or working at the frequency of classical stupidity with quantum madness labelled as sophistication?
Perhaps wars throngs some of you into an orgamsic frenzy, I dont know.

My friend, I said it and I stand by it once again "some blackmen have the same reasoning as that of apes".
Politics / Re: Gej's 2015 Ambition Will Lead To Civil War by RedReact: 4:38pm On Dec 20, 2013
Common!!!
Jarus wrote something significant just yesterday and the next day, his 'prophet-like' writing came manifesting in the likes of OP.
Congo DR -War, Sudan-War, Uganda-War, Sierra Leone-Just recovering from war, CAR-war, Libya-Unrest, Somalia- lost for now, Mali-susceptible to unrest, Liberia-building up ruins from war, and now one disgruntled nuinsance is calling for war in Nigeria again. Did they curse you and your likes reasoning like you with stupidity of the mind?
Some guys in Australia just tried to put up a vehicle fuelled by air in the 21st century and what my own fellow compatriot could reason out is war, using the product sane and sensible people outside of 'its' continent produced by themselves (the internet).
The world is advancing towards 5G technology in communications systems, while some guys are advancing in turning a desert into a paradise in the same planet that we are inhabiting, while one is talking about causing chaos and disorderliness. So if that is how the whole world think, will you have the mobile phone or the computer or the internet you are using today?
I don't even know the difference between apes and some blackmen sef in terms of reasoning.

My dear, take it easy. Try to finish your course of study here in Nigeria first whilst doing underground research you have been doing. Remember that fingers are still kept crossed with the way that Prime Minister Abott or what is his name again is doing as regards immigration now. Na prayer we dey pray say make e no do as e reach so.
Besides, Australian education is not that easy, as far as funding is concerned, the way you are viewing it. The only option I can say is to apply for nursing in TAFE and proceed from there, but I don't think that is good, considering the fact that you are a Medical Doctor in waiting.

@topic,this is what runs businesses down in Nigeria.
I quite agree with you, I once worked with starcomms and believe me its things like this on a bigger scale that ran the company down.
You see!!! Two people earlier talked about the losses they incurred all because they hired/employed a fellow Nigerian. These things happen everyday in those companies and only God knows what those CEOs face in their closets due to corrupt attitude of their compatriots they employed. There are some companies that recruit more outside of Nigeria than inside of the country. Why? Our people have run down their businesses because of greed.
Business / Re: Watch Out For Scammers At Shoprite (ikeja) by RedReact: 12:44am On Dec 16, 2013
Ilekokonit: If Nigeria had more people willing to expose corruption (at all levels) like this poster has just done then maybe our redemption as a nation will be hastened.
True, but the question here is that how many people are really ready for that change? Many people blame the government and the politicians for stealing but they are not ready to admit that they are exhibiting the same character they blame government for.
Get-rich-by-all-means syndrome has gotten hold of many peoples' hearts, what a pity!!

There is nothing wrong in tipping as long as it is freewill giving and not borne out of cutting corners (which is bribery), but many Nigerians see it as their right to be tipped to do what they are being paid to do. If one has the understanding of what is good and bad, one would reject that tip in the first place cos it has no meaning. Contentment is a virtue that is absent in many people's moral standing.
