If the South West says Okay, we dont mind, the North will prevent it because they have said it over and over again, that they will NEVER agree to an Igbo President, that is why you have not been President in the last SIXTY YEARS despite the fact that you have supported the Northerner to be President, so many, many times.

But the Yorubas are in a different position.
The North trusts them to an extent and the North fears them as well, to an extent. The North Fears the SW collaborating with the Igbos, because they know that if that happens, they are finished.
So, what they do is that anytime they see that the SW is getting pissed-off, they back-off and allow the South West to have a go at the Presidency [/b]and use that to buy their support. That is "strategy".

[b]Why cant the Igbos also be 'strategic' in 2023?
The only strategy Igbos have is to back the SW, take the risk even if you don tlike them, because we all know that they will keep their promise, if you really back them OPENLY in 2023. That is a strategy that will change the face of Politics in Nigeria for ever.
Saying they cant be President in 2023 is not really in your (Igbo) hands, because if the North agrees, as it does at times, the SW have it.
Queuing behind the North is also not a strategy because the North is united in their vow, since 1964 Nzeogwu Coup NEVER to allow the East near Aso Rock, no matter even if you support them for the next 100years because they know that you cant do anything about them and you cant take it from them.

Guys stop being enotional and sentimental, this is 2020, l know your Parents told you all sorts of lies about the SW, to justify their failings in the War and make themselves look good (and what better than to blame the SW) but events in the last twenty years should have taught you something, things you see with your own eyes.
