Oga Dangote. When crude oil was 70 dpb, you sold fuel at 870 to 890. Naira has also appreciated against the dollar. Your fuel has no business above 1000 naira.
Just watch over the next few days. You will read that importers brought in fuel at a landing rate still cheaper than what Dangote sells.

I had high hopes for Dangote but alas his greed is all too obvious to deny.
That's why it is good to appreciate facts and works, not personalities or people.

The failure of Nigerians to build institutions in favour of people is why this country has not made meaningful progress inspite of all the time, and treasure spent on her.

Dangote has understood that if Nigerians do not call him to order he will step out of business and descend into exploitation.

This should be an eye opener to Nigerians that they can determine their prosperity by advocacy for fairness and justice. Keep quiet and continue in slavery.

This is three years of Dangote in operation. The honeymoon is over. He should begin to be held accountable.

A project that Buhari initiated and it was over 90% completed before Buhari left office. Tinubu wants to take Buharisl's glory.

Nigerians are wiser now
Why don't you rather encourage the completion of projects across governments.
You cannit have development with a short term attitude.

Having said that. It is highly commendable particularly since the emphasis is on freight which will save the highways from constant pressure and damage.

I just wished rail projects were taken with the same vigour as vehicular roads and highways at state and Federal levels. Rail coverage in Nigeria remains very soars and rudimentary. Ignoring such an economic force multiplier is a developmental error.

Study what exactly.
How to undermine institutions and entrench feudalism....?

What has that place done in the past fifty years or so to solve any single problem of national concern.

Has not done anything to make Nigeria a more just or equitable society. Has not done anything to strengthen her institutions and surround them by the rule of law. Has not done anything to school the authorities on how to develop the country and prosper her citizens. Has not done anything to unite the citizens of the country across ethnic and religious fault lines.....

Exactly what have they succeeded in doing to make this country great. Whatever it is, it is not working. The bandits have arrived to remind them of their failings and mark their score card.

An Institute that cannot formulate policies to combat insecurity or strategies to aid security forces in gaining an upper hand over insurgents is practically a useless talk shop and it is not surprising the bad guys have found the audacity to school them in the art of war.

If this ever happened the referee is in serious trouble. His history is not looking good.

And if you think this is not possible, think again. It was American investigations that led to the collapse of the reign of once upon a time, Almighty Joseph Blatter.

If you feel too girlie to compete with men, then sports is not for you.

In boxing you can compete at a higher weight class. No one stops a feather from trying to put down an elephant.

But if you must compete at a lower weight class you have to pay the price and shed the weight. It is only fair.

Even the Press reportage of this obvious and shameful scandal is weak. As if the Press has been compromised on this issue.

We should be seeing more expert analysis of the case on Channels, Arise, TVC etc. The terrible thing is that a key witness and go between died mysterious as this scandal began to on fold. Yet nobody is talking about the cause of his death. Police just mentioned they confirmed he died. No statement on autopsy, no inquest, nothing.

Why are we like this? So painful that a nation has gone to the dogs. Shouldn't Gbaja have been suspended to allow for unfettered investigation? Even Minister's accused at times get suspended for investigations to go on. Why is Gbaja still at work.
Suspended by whom.

Unfortunately where you have every arm and institution of government on lockdown for the Presidency the only recourse to justice has to come from overseas.

And I think anyone seeking to change this country, to wrestle it back from this tyrannical grip has to come from the outside.

Femi Gbajabiamila collected N400 million bribe, demanded extra N200 million to set up PFIPC: Prince Adeyemi
Mr Adeyemi alleged that Mr Gbajabiamila also demanded 48 per cent of the PFIPC’s N27.4 billion take-off grant.

Adeniyi Adeyemi, the director-general of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has alleged that the chief of staff to the president, Femi Gbajabiamila, received N400 million through a proxy and demanded an additional N200 million to secure his appointment.

Mr Adeyemi alleged at a press conference on Thursday that Mr Gbajabiamila also demanded 48 per cent of the PFIPC’s N27.4 billion take-off grant, a request he said he rejected.

The allegations come amid a dispute over the agency’s existence after Mr Gbajabiamila, in a June 11 statement, said the PFIPC did not exist under President Bola Tinubu’s administration and that Mr Adeyemi had never been appointed to head it.

Mr Adeyemi described the denial as an attempt to “silence legitimate questions,” stating that it stemmed from his refusal to yield to the alleged demands of the president’s chief of staff.

“The major rationale behind the disagreement between myself and the chief of staff is because he allegedly requested 48 per cent of the take-off grant (N27,395,510,136) from the same agency, which he denies, to which I rejected after he collected a total sum of 400 million by proxy, with a remaining balance of 200 million to secure the said appointment,” Mr Adeyemi said.

The chief of staff could not be immediately reached for comments on the allegations.

The PFIPC chief questioned how the agency appeared on pages 50 and 51 of the 2026 appropriation budget if it did not exist, arguing that Mr Gbajabiamila “should possibly resign his appointment now” if he allowed Mr Tinubu to sign such a document.

He said, “If the agency does not exist, yet found its way into the Nigerian national budget, what that means is that the entire 2026 appropriation budget is a fraud and should be discarded.

“For President Bola Tinubu to append his signature to a budget that includes a non-existent agency, according to his chief of staff, is an embarrassment to this hardworking government.”

According to Mr Adeyemi, the “non-existent” agency has operated for over a year, has a space at the federal secretariat, a domiciliary account, a pounds account, and a treasury single account, all of which are domiciled with the Central Bank of Nigeria.

He argued these would not be possible without the agency’s existence.

He accused Mr Gbajabiamila of attempting to frame him as a fraud and plotting to use security agencies to portray his diplomatic engagements as espionage or disloyalty.

Mr Adeyemi also questioned why Mr Gbajabiamila issued the disclaimer instead of President Tinubu’s media aides and challenged him to make available documents and communication trails from the president’s office for examination.

He further alleged that he survived an assassination attempt along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway on September 7, 2025, during which, he said, vital documents and his phones were carted away.

“I reported the case to the police and Department of State Security. I was told the phones were tracked to Gombe State, but an insider confided to me that there was an order from above to refrain from taking any further actions,” he stated.

He urged the president to set up an investigative panel to probe the alleged assassination attempt and the death of Babatunde Tanimola, whom he said was an intermediary between him and Mr Gbajabiamila, even though “the police claimed he died through fire accident at a hotel in Utako, Abuja, on 22nd of October, 2025.”

Also, Mr Adeyemi said the panel should compel the president’s chief of staff to produce all documents he has signed since assuming office.

The PFIPC DG said that the panel, which should comprise civil society organisations and international organisations, should also compel Mr Gbajabiamila to step down pending the outcome of the findings.

He further recommended a review of budgetary references and institutional records, the publication of transparent findings, and a probe of all relevant individuals.

The Legislature is just a parastatal under this government. A government that has destroyed the real functions of institutions more than any government before it.

If the people do not give an ultimatum to government, they will perish, simple.

Give the government 90 days to end this tragedy or you as a people will declare a state of emergency, remove all authority and arm yourselves.

Once you declare yourselves independent, you will see the speed by which they will descend on your territories with soldiers and policemen and perhaps the genocide will end.

They fear nothing more than the loss of power. Use that fear to save your lives.

Too many worked for examples in this World Cup by African teams.

If Senegal likes it can add to this story or just go forward and put this game out of reach in the first half.

Keep what you catch is no longer a football strategy. It expired in the 90's. Even the masters of the dark art, Italy, no longer feartures at the highest levels.
