nemesis8u: Engine flameout
In layman's term the engine would have been destroyed completely due to ingestion of the sign post.
Even a small bird if it gets sucked into an engine will destroy the engine .
But since it is a twin engined aircraft , not so much of a problem since the other engine would have kept the aircraft flying the pilot was pretty lucky then. |

Low level flight being taken too seriously
So much so Su27 manages to hit a road sign What would have happened if that road sign entered the inlet of that engine? |

This Magnetic bed floats 1.2 feet above ground, and can hold up to 2000 pounds. This amazing feat is accomplished through the use of a magnetic system which keeps the bed suspended. It’s mind boggling that the tech used can support a full ton of weight without caving in. The owner of this bed can truly say that they have something completely unique. The bed consists of one giant rectangular magnet and Techspot explained that Janjaap Ruijssenaars took a total of seven years to develop the bed. This is the only one that makes sense to me the rest na money laundering things. |

SLAP44: I wanted to type that Amotekun might not be the solution to insecurity in the SW but when I remember that they won't believe me till it becomes too late, I rest my case.
Look, except you have your own firm boundaries where real Yoruba people vet and determine who enters and who doesn't, where real Yorubas enforce laws and punish offenders according to your laws, where Abuja will not be calling the shots on who gets released or not, where your children are in charge of your police and army, all these Amotekun will just be cosmetic treatments of a disaster which is structural in nature.
*Dodges from stones hurled by those who don't know how grave their situation is* calm down rome wasn't built in a day. There may be flaws at start but perfection will come quick and sooner as experience progresses Probably those cabals are testing the tide of water in SW, trust me is not what they will survive.

nemesis8u: Yes Soviets were very good in science and technology , many don't know that Americans stole a lot of Soviet technology through espionage. In today's prices it would be 50+ billion dollar worth of technology. Image that.
But in the end Soviets didn't survive because they faltered on economy . War in Afghanistan only served to accelerate its detoriation faster.
A strong economy is the basis to sustainable progress in science and technology , stong military and over all strong country . Otherwise it's very difficult to continue.
If Soviet union had existed till today , the world might have been a much better place.
I am no communist , but balance is paramount in order to maintain sanity in world affairs. Soviet union was doomed from the start when paranoid stalin came power with his implementation of the great purge. This great purge was the beginning of Soviet's doom because it depleted competent intelligent populace that could have saved the nation. Incompetent leaders like brezhnev which in his time was when the great stagnation started, Khrushchev who almost started a nuclear war doing the Cuban missile crisis, gorbachev's ill reform that ended the nation and also his handling of Chernobyl accident. and even Yeltsin's bad flaws in Chechnya after post Soviet union. All this people wouldn't have risen to power. They all survived and rose to power not for their intellect or competency but because there were all loyal to stalinism. America just had to play it's part as a formidable competitor in the fight for global power. Am no big fan of capitalism but I think it was ok for Soviet union's dissolution, Why? Every one was worried about the nukes |
