There's almost nothing you can imagine today that China is not producing. In fact, you can go to China, meet a manufacturer and give him idea of a product that is currently not existing and ask them to manufacture them for you and it'd be done. We can be the China of Africa, but ordinary agriculture, we have not been able to get right. Let's start with rice and wheat cultivation first, where we can supply the whole of Africa, instead of African countries importing from Russia, Ukraine and India.

Now imagine someone who left a ₦500K job in Nigeria and made it ILLEGALLY to the USA in say, 2019 after the re-election of Buhari. I know such people. By now that person has managed to settle in. Right now I'm sure they're making enough to send at least $200/mo back to Nigeria if they so wish. If it's a couple that left, they might have produced a child that's now a USA citizen.

The vast majority of 40 year old university graduates with working experience in Nigeria would be glad to be able to save ₦300K = 200$ per month.

This debate or subject has been overtaken by events. It's difficult to get any kind of developed country visa out of Nigeria.

But it's also out of place for Nigerians living overseas to be converting their bills to naira to scare other people from relocating. If their light bill per month is equivalent to N80,000, is their salary also equivalent to N200,000 or less??

Very true about the issue of congestion. We need to decongest Lagos, by moving at least 50 FG agencies currently headquartered there, to other states of the federation. That would spread development instead of concentrating economic activities in Abuja and Lagos.

Like where I stay I pay 1.5 million in a month. Just a small space. Other expensive places goes time two of that amount.

Not to talk about tax, they tax your income, send council tax to you every three month, send you gas bills, heat, bills etc converting this in naira every month is not easy.

So one primary reason most people travel is to sustain their self through jobs and by extension give their children good healthcare, security....

They do not pay you in naira, so you have no reason to convert them to naira.
