In conclusion Christian are not required to pay tithe because his death and resuration put and end to the mosiac law. You assertions are very wrong. Tithing was introduced before the mosaic law when Abraham encountered Melchizedek. I think it was over 400 years before the mosaic laws. Why raise special offering for specific needs when you canbdo that as ordered by God? It feel repetitive and redundant to me.

I don't see the need to list all those things separately. They fall into two broad categories of things that cover the church material need and thing that cover the pastorate's need. Remember, some pastors have been forbidden to work outside the church or own profitable businesses. That's God's design.

tithe is the tax for church that enables you have meat (chairs, altar, fan, car parks, branches and more amenities within the church). You not paying what God has ordained but enjoying others' people money in form of the above mentioned constitute robbery of those people and by extension, of God Himself. The problem with school curricular and real world applications is from the graduates who hardly take time to know where their intended course of study leads to. Engineers think they are being trained for technician role. How many engineering graduates can define engineering or 5 tools related to their field of engineering?

Those of you kicking against the removal of fuel subsidy should know that Nigeria economy is solely dependent on oil revenue.
And PMS is used more than AGO, DPK and LNG combined.
Worst case scenario is that most of the subsidized products are diverted to other West African countries where they still market the product without subsidy.
Before federal government will realize more capital for infrastructure development in railways, education, health, agriculture etc.
Subsidy must be removed.
Don't expect state governments to pay salaries smoothly, employ people, increase workers salary and carry out infrastructural development without increase in Federal allocation.

you should be comparing this to the current alternatives that prevalent like i-beta-pass gen set and unemployment. This kiost can serve small business that don't need much power. A roadside electronics technician using primarily a soldering iron of about 100 watts can benefit from this. A barber using clippers and LED light of less than 120w too can benefit from it. As time goes on, a bigger one for computer business centres and game houses can be built. That's is better that gen set and that stress that comes with it especially at a time govt want to remove subsidy from petrol.
Lastly, this is a private initiative being suggested to govt and NGOs. Instead of buying gen set as empowerment buy this and kill many birds with a shot.

before you condemn, have you asked about the effort that went into it. You guys think product prototyping is a rice n beans affair abi? Commonsense should tell us that such a project is primarily an electrical one and therefore the mechanical part like the kiosk construction doesn't have to be top notch for a start. Go to China and ask manufacturers for a quote of similar kiost to see how cheap it can be for a starting entrepreneur to build and commercialize a nice looking kiosk. I don't blame you and your likes condemning the effort much.

I am surprised at the comments so far.
As for me, it is a good step in the right direction seeing that small businesses are a substantial part of petrol consumers. Anything that replaces the pollution of petrol and its recurrent cost is welcome idea.
I will advise the OP to try and include more details like the size of the solar system in watts, battery size, estimated back up hours, and cost of acquiring one.

There is no bigger picture to he seen with the level of corruption and collusion from from govt. The tankers that smuggle petrol can be easily tracked and subdued but because the govt doesnt want to buy from Dangote before subsidizing but allow Dangote sell at market dictated rate(no subsidy), effectively giving him monopoly pending when modular refineries come on stream.

they are doing the above already and I wonder what makes you think they will ever stop. Landing cost of litre of petrol is above N200 and pump prices are below N170. It is just a matter of buying from Dangote and the modular refineries in otder to save transportation and import duty cost.

Local refining remains profitable because the refiner sells at a profit to the govt who then sell to consumers within Nigeria. Refiners can even sell to other west African countries just like other nations or refiners do refine and have been selling to us.
