Cosmetic approach to serious issues landed us here. Let them be holding meeting under air conditioning unit and be signing dummy MoU. |
One of the funniest articles I have read in a while. To cap it off, they used that Tinubu's picture where he was smiling sheepishly just after a concluding paragraph about people eating yam peels, cassava peels and soyabean chaff. |
Even though we run an economy largely dependent on crude oil and have witnessed improvements in crude oil revenue, things are not improving because loan repayment Is eating up virtually all the money coming in. That makes me ask, "what did we do with the loans"? |
coputa:to the bathroom for a cold shower. |
Lol. He inherited a terrible situation but aggregated it within 1 hour of swearing in to double the severity of the economic entropy. |
kettykin:Some people prefer to stay behind in the kitchen because of the prospect of tasting half of the "obstacles" in the sauce and soup. I hope the heat doesn't ignite a fire that consumes the whole house. |
Westerhoffe:so so funny. God has ignored nations with one sided constitutions. One written under military rule that relegates Christianity. |
That's how it should be. You worked partially by continuing research and other public responsibilities so accept the part payment. |
Where is this? |
blueAgent:The one currently being used to import perrol, brazillian hair and cigars. |
Speak your mind. Those in power will favour suppression of the truth if it isn't expressed like this. |
The way you bare it here is good so other hyping and believing hype about apprentice system can learn. |
That's bad. Collapsing FRSC into NPF will now give unreformed NPF the power to accost vehicles for reasons on FRSC could only do before now. That means a broader range of illegal detentions and extortions. The NPF needs reformation and reorientation above anything else. No proper crime reporting mechanism. No good pay. No good equipments. No record of arrested personels. No centralized system go track those in police custody. These are some of the reasons endsars happened. |
benuejosh:if a trader doesn't adjust prices according to demand and supply reality. Someone with lots of cash will approach that trader and buy off the supplies then wait until it is scarce and reintroduce it at an exorbitant rate compared to where it should be. The trader himself will now be faced with the prospect of buying what he sold off cheap at a much higher rate. Face the govt who assisted farmers to produce but didn't know they ought to be buying the harvest into govt reserves. |
The reforms are not bad, but poorly executed. For example, why hastily remove subsidy, then reintroduce it again? It shows someone didn't plan well or study what needs to be done to manage the effects of policies. |
These people come to social media to lament because there is a govt so used to selling crude oil to pay them salaries. What's their productivity like if I may ask? How many of their trained graduates are producing what will in turn be their salary via taxes? You cannot mock God. We need to start demanding accountability at so many levels of the society. As an educator or academician, you are engaged in training people to help them become productive in the future. The average Nigerians only cares about what he or she goes home with and never what is contributed. |
I pity any southerner starving this moment. The north rakes the bulk of oil money and farm with it under many fancy named schemes like anchor borrower scheme, boi etc, they reap bountifully and tell tales of bandits destroying it to avoid repaying the FG. FG too doesn't try to buy it from the bush markets into the reserves, finally, they start selling the harvest to highest bidder. Where as the purchasing power of the southerner is the least because inflation and devaluation has ravaging it. Govt of Buhari has used future earnings to subsidizes pas consumptions and built rail to Niger republic. I pity the average Southerner right now. |
DatNiggaDaz:a grain reserve actually exists but has been poorly managed. Most of the food grown in the north use subsidized FG inputs. It would have made sense for FG to buy the harvest around august-october last year and fill the reserves instead of watching stronger currencies around us raid our markets to buy foods the farmers like to claim barely exist. They do that to avoid debt repayment sometime. Now reserves are empty. Instead govt is doing empty media propaganda. You don't use picture of food to threaten hunger. Hunger is not like that. Grain reserve is real and Buhari used it during his time. I don't know why our owambe presidio and crew didn't fill it knowing fully well that weaker currency will lead to export. They appear not to know the country they are governing. They just know they can make money from governing it and so employ a reactionary approach to issues that demand foresight and planning. The reserve isn't a myth. |
HolinessForever:Tinubu should embrace this approach. |
Orubebe01:Is BAT the cause of all these things you listed? |
Any country that lies to the citizens about abundant wealth and make them become entitled, when things get rough, the masses must feel a need to escalate their fustration. |
Where are the trillion naira sponsored public schools? |
FreeStuffsNG:Even when things went down, you still found something "worthy" of celebrating. This figure compared to previous years was a huge step backward. Your thread is like a drowning man celebrating because there are others drowning beneath him. It is like Germany or UK celebrating their size durinvg recession. I pity the people paying you. |
Uncertainty but feel the need to. I understand. officialwdhtv: |
Wage system has been there for ages. Stop building vain conspiracy theories inside your skull. I help no one. |
Better embrace clay and woods and iron. |
Poultry business. Dollar hoarding. Yahoo yahoo. Ritualistic frauds. Hmm hmm .... Politics. |
He has been appointed the chief scapegoat of the cost of living crisis ravaging Nigerians. Even a dollar reaches N10,000.00 emefiele caused it by stealing $1 10 years ago. |
Food that's already paid for. Bottom to top corruption. One on One. |
SDJosh:shege that smokes weed with pipeline. Very huge shege. |
I see so many must-go cries in this cost of living crisis sweeping the globe. Jews must go. Nigerians must go(from South Africa) Nigerian must go(from Ghana) Nigerians must go (from Togo, CIV, Chad, India, Lybia) Hausa must go(from Nigerians) Everybody see the exits of the other prosperous group as a quick fix for opportunities and employment. |
