Guilty as charged with commiting what crime? But for Elendu and Sowore of Saharareporters, a lot of Nigerians would have been kept in the dark of some shady dealings by the Nigerian government like the 3rd term agenda of the former presiden and the thieving tendencies of some of our leaders, past and present.

We are all familiar with all this underhand preudo-dictatorial gimmicks. Small time now, dem go stage coup talk say na dis journalist support the coup plotters like they did to Chris Anyanwu and co. God has put all of them to shame!!!

Hello People,

I'm a frequent vistor to this site and have noticed a barrage of attacks on Inspired. I'm in the US and had my first contact with Inspired about a year ago. (November/December 2007) I had shipped a 2007 Camry XLE to Nigeria and wanted some input about selling, he gave me what I consider till tommorrow to be an honest opinion of value. I asked if he could sell the car for me, as luck will have it, I sold the car myself later. By the way, I never met him all this while.

Now fast forward to August 2008, I needed to buy a car for someone in Lagos. I called Inspired and this time met with him. He showed me some cars, none that met my required specs. We left him on a good note and he promised to look around for what I needed.

I have to say, the guy seemed upfront & thruthful at least dealing with me. Will I deal with him again, Absolutely!! I hought I should share my experience.

In business it doesn't matter what you do, some will like you, some will feel cheated. It's just the nature of life.
Just another of inspired's numerous alter egos. angry angry angry Funny and strange how they always seem to appear just in the knick of time with their "deals made in heaven" stories. Inspired, each time you pull a stunt like this, you just convince me more and more of two things: 1. you are highly manipulative 2. you are not smart enough to know when to shut up!!!

If uti survives this week, we just might have another Richard on our hands, y'all remember him surviving 5 nominations and eventually winning BBA2 despite all the hate campaigns don't you? The odds are stacked against Uti though. He's Nigerian and the rest of Africa just don't like us. Just check out Thando's posts on this thread for instance, the lady's got a lot of anger issues. Much like the kind she is accusing Uti of.

For those of you who think Uti doesn't have a brain, or at best has a retarded one grin grin i don't think so. In my opinion, he is just this upfront kinda guy. brash and petulant atimes but nonetheless a nice guy. He has told the rest of his fellow housemates several times that with him, what you see is not always what you get. He has stressed that he acts out his moodswings most times. He doesn't hate Mimi or Thami as so many are want to believe and that is why he keeps nominating the way he does. He has consistently nominated the two people he does not like in the house: Latoya and TK.

You can see Uti's open mindedness in the way he handled the rift between him and Morris (I will save my opinion about this Idi Amin's brother till another time) recently.

Is Uti going to win BBA3? Current circumstances point to NO!!! Fact is, however, that he is playing the game as well as he can. Let's support and give him a chance. cool cool

After Saturday night's event's, if I hear Munya saying anything that has gangsta in it, I will break my TV. That lovestruck fool was professing love to Lu with all the usual effizy complete with tears in his eyes. It was so embarassing to watch. Every time I watch Morris and Munya get all mushy over chics in the house, I thank God I am from Nigeria. Chics everywhere for as far as the eyes can see. I am happy Uti has been keeping it real so far. let's support our boy abeg!!!

Phones › Re: Zain's Branding! by Reptyle(m): 1:02pm On Sep 12, 2008
There are 8 colours in the Zain pallette. They are split into primary and secondary colours. The primary colours are aqua, black and purple. There are five others including Margenta (AKA "sick pink" grin grin) From information available to me, a lot of research went into selecting the colours and designing the SWIRL logo. Matter of fact, it was selected from over 400 different options. Firstly, the combination of colours are unlike any used by any company around the whole world. It marked a clear break from the usual suspects, red, blue, green, orange and yellow. It is simply unique. Secondly, the colours are representative of Zain's brand values of Heart, Radiance and Belonging. C,mon guys, aren't u tired of the boring red and yellow or yellow and blue? Open your hearts and you will start loving those colours. If Starcomms can get away with combining Purple and Green, why not Zain grin grin

The SWIRL logo is representative of a whirlwind, stirring up chaos by design. I think the logo and colours are winners anyday!!!

Y'all got mouth to blab and talk ish!!! Those who know whats up, stay true to the game. I am reading from people here who think that a name change means the end of a business?!! C'mon guyz. I also have people in here who say that Zain has "the most unreliable" service?!!! On which planet do you live? Newayz, for those of you who stay faithful to the 0802, welcome to a wonderful world.
Nairaland General › Re: Celtel Changes Name To 'Zain Nigeria Ltd' by Reptyle(m): 9:55am On Aug 04, 2008
You know, reading what y'all have posted here, one would think that the continuous metamorphosis of the telco would have affected its services or business negatively, R u aware that the company currently has 15 million ACTIVE subscribers and is No.2 operator in the country? (Forget all that glo hype of being no.2) The network is growing in leaps and bounds and service is constant so whats all the fuss about the name change. I am glad no one has been asked to visit anywhere for a sim replacement in view of the name change. The change is seamless.

I am glad some of you recognize the fact that it cost a fortune to rebrand a business and so no one will be willing to splurge that much on whimsical name changes. There were reasons for each of the name changes. I think the company should receive a pat on the back for carrying out this rebranding with minimal (if any) impact on its customers and services.

Forget the name. If you don't like it, keep using any of the old names. After all, I know a number of people that still refer to the company as Vmobile. Better still, you can take your pick from any of the ones that have been derogatorily foisted on the network on this forum. Whatever you choose to call it, never forget its still packed with the power of 0802

Phones › Re: ( Celtel) Has Been Sold To Another Company ! by Reptyle(m): 4:42pm On Jul 18, 2008
Someone comes in here with half and half info and others just jump on the band wagon spewing stuff they know nothing about. Yes Celtel is changing its name but unlike previous occassions, this is a mere re-branding exercise that is being done across all of the company's op.cos. globally.

Celtel bought over Vmobile while MTC bought over Celtel. Now MTC has decided to bring all of its operations globally under one brand name rather than operating as MTC in the Middle-East and Celtel in Africa. I agree its yet another change but it is still packed with the power of 0802 and it is not a buy-out as was the previous ones.

It is important to note that though Nigeria is a key market for the company, it is only one out of 22 op.cos globally and cannot be left out of the exercise.

As for the network issue experienced last weekend, it had no connection with a "hand over" as someone falsely posted here. There was a fire that affected some of the network's cables at its offices in Iganmu. It was a major incident and I think the network should get some credit for fixing the issue in record time. My brother who is an engineer with the network did not come home for three days. For your information, MTN was also partially affected by the incident because the cable in question is a shared infrastructure.

Guys, lets give these networks some credit for the "miracle" they have achieved in Nigeria inspite of all the economic and infrastructural issues. Its not easy to power a network solely on diesel especially at the current going rate of the commodity. Nuff said already.

What is your point exactly? Did D'banj ever dispute the fact that Don Jazzy is largely responsible for his success? That's how you pple start unnecessary beef. He always gives props to him in all his songs. That, however, doesn't mean D'banj cannot go it alone with the talent he has.

Really crappy stuff from Nigeria's most under-achieving bunch of talents. Personally, I think these guys are cramping each others style by remaining together as a group. I strongly believe they will each excel individually as solo-artistes. Look @ d Plantation Boyz today.

Guys, your harmony is as tight as ever but frankly, if this album sells 1000 copies then it will simply be because die-hard fans like me grin bought a copy out of curiousity. I mean common guys, who wants to hear a song version of styl-plus' history? So what if its being 4 years? What then do you want the likes of Sunny Ade, Wasiu and others that have been around like forever to say? I mean like really!!!! And to think that is supposed to be the album's main hit song and unique selling pointhuh?!!!!! Puhleeeeeze!
