You said "10m Nigerians lost their job during Buhari govt of 3½ years ". No argument! I'm asking you to name one company that has close up within the period, then calculate the number that lost their job when your PDP was closing down the following Companies which they met in 1999 and ruined before 2015.
Nitel Nigerian Airways NRC Nigerian Shipping NMT Oshogbo steel rolling mill Aladja steel Ajaokuta steel Nipost National Oil, Dunlop Nig textile mill Alscon Dicon Nafcon Bacita sugar
Iwopin paper mill Jebba paper mill Oku Iboku Newsprint paper mill Volkswagen Anamco Leyland Motors PAN NEPA Nigerchin Michelin Nichemtex Kaduna Textile NGC etc and the list goes on and on...
PDP ruined everything. Believe me when i say it's gonna take time to revolutionise this country and Buhari/Osinbajo are the men for the job. Take it or leave it. lol.... you for call royal niger company too... you've forgotten you're talking to students of history. Now most of these companies didn't dies during pdp. Also, look at how organized and civil they are, even after a guy hearing that he isn't the father of a daughter which clearly shows that the lady cheated on her, the guy will still go closer to the lady and hug her and tell her they are still best of friends. divinehand2003: •To decide on zoning of position between South-west and South-east tomorrow •Age, knowledge of economy key criterion for nomination
Adedayo Akinwale in Abuja
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has begun earnest search for his running mate as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deadline for the submission of names of parties’ candidate expires on Monday.
By the 1999 Constitution as amended and the Electoral Act 2010 as amended, no candidature is complete without a running mate. THISDAY sources close to the Atiku camp said at least three technocrats and two politicians have been penciled down for the position.
The technocrats are, former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Charles Soludo; former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina; and former Managing Director of Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON), Mr. Chike Obi.
The politicians being considered for the number two position are, former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, and the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu.
According to a source, the candidate and the PDP hierarchy are still undecided on the zone the position should be allotted. But he said the scope had been narrowed down to the South-west and the South-east.
“We would have to weigh the electoral value of both zones and decide where we would allot it,” the source said, explaining that there was the need to maintain a balance between the existing political configuration, which requires the party to challenge the dominance of the APC in the high voting South-west by picking a running mate that would challenge the electoral advantage of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; and the need to retain the loyalty of the South-east that had remained a PDP stronghold.
Both zones were believed to have helped Atiku to neutralise the Northern zones’ delegates’ votes that went to Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal during the presidential primary on Saturday.
A source told THISDAY that the matter would be trashed out tomorrow at a meeting of the presidential candidate with the party hierarchy. Apart from zoning, Atiku is also said to be considering age and knowledge of the economy and economics as two major criterions for the selection of the running mate.
According to a source, the presidential candidate thinks his running mate has to be a much younger person as a strategy to appeal to the army of youths, which is already up in arms against the old brigade.
Atiku is, however, said to be insisting that such a young man must also have deep knowledge of the economy as his focus is on the revival of the economy to create jobs for the teaming unemployed population.
“His challenge, therefore, is how to strike the balance between getting a youthful running mate and an economy savvy candidate. Both must be rolled into one,” a source said, explain that this might have informed the short list that was revealed to THISDAY.
https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/10/09/atiku-considers-soludo-adesina-chike-obi-peter-obi-ekweremadu-as-running-mate/?amp we dont need an igbo vp. Give tgat slot to the west. You know these westerners are heavily partisan and tribalistic so give them vp so theyd sheepishly not go and divide votes for atiku. Theyd rather vote a goat thats useless than vote a progressive thats not from their region. We need landslide victory over the lifeless dullard.. |

So whatever is worth doing is worth doing well.
Fashola can come out to say he want to contest and most parties know that they are in trouble. Fashola has evidence on ground to come out you don't need a blind man to tell you. Anybody but Buhari doesn't mean anybody you too should come out. But thanks for giving out some part of our resources out to the owners in dollars. It a shame that we don't even spend naira anymore and we have CBN in this country. as far as I'm concerned in 3 yes ambo has embarked on more capital projects than fashola 8 years. PassingShot: Buhari has always scored beyond what Atiku has ever scored in his outing in 2007.
In 2007, PMB got 6,605,299 votes to Atiku's 2,637,848 votes.
In 2011, PMB got 12,214,853 votes.
In 2015, PMB defeated Atiku, Kwankwaso and others in the primaries despite their dollars. He later went on to win with over 15 million votes and that figure is sure to climb in 2019.
The most Atiku will get in 2019 will be 8 million votes and he will be permanently retired from politics.
Mark this post, the North will use the opportunity to tell Atiku that he's not liked and not wanted. dont know what rock you're living under but buhari had a myth surrounding him as the saviour .....his winning the election was an eye opener. There is hunger in the land and this could have been avoided if the senile old man listened to calls from technocrats not to hastily implement some stupid policies. He was more interested in hurting southern interests and everybody got burned. Even mallams on bikes do not want a buhari. Atiku isnt the best option in Nigeria bit compared with the dullardeen .... hea our Donald trump. |
