After going through the comment section, any knowledgeable person will agree with me that internet opinions shouldn't be trusted or even used for reference. 99% of comments here are not from people who are knowledgeable to give answers to the question.
Coming to the question asked. Besides store rent one can use between 300-500k to get a shop like the one in the picture used.
Crime / Re: Total War Against Name Checkers On Nairaland by rex21: 2:38pm On Jan 07
Seun:
Fellow Nairalanders,

I hereby declare a total war against name checkers on Nairaland.

Anyone who draws attention to the tribe of a criminal on a thread about a crime will be banned. This applies regardless of whether they do it overtly or covertly. Every offender will collect a ban because this is regarded as a tribal insult.

The minimum ban period is 14 days. If you have offended multiple times, it's 30 days. If you keep offending, you may be permanently banned.

- Seun Osewa.

PS: I've just made a communication breakthrough with the moderators on this issue. I expect results.

NYSC / Re: Mobilisation: How Undercover Reporter Breached Our System To Enrol Twice – NYSC by rex21: 6:35am On Jan 05
Ireportlive:
cool

There was no breach

In all database, the owners set a field to flag data duplication

In the case of NYSC Email and Phone number was used

There are many people with the same first and last name in Nigeria

The guy simply used another phone number

Does it make sense if NYSC calls you everytime someone with your Surname and Last name Registers

PS: If you don't know how SQL works, or what a database and what primary key is please stop qouting me

.

Nysc uses biometric(finger prints) for registration and i hear that no two humans in the whole world share the same fingerprint. So, what do you say now ??

Or maybe I no understand wetin you type.

Tonytonex:
I understand what you are trying to say. But there are things you don't understand also. And I don't have the time to explain it here. When kidnappers kidnap one of your relatives, and demands for millions in case of course. Tell them that. Or use the other forms of payment like transfer and ATM card for them , you hear. FYI, Mr too know, most people are only withdrawing from the banks now. Very few are depositing...

Since you want to push me, let me go a little further with you. Which of the bold statements sound like civility to you ??

With regards to inferiority complex, you should look inwards because your comments fits your description.

And finally, your claims makes no sense COMPLETELY, how will i entertain such.

Tonytonex:
If you want to go far in life, you have to be open minded and see things from different perspective.

And also learn to converse without throwing insults. That's inferiority complex. Be civil with your comments generally.

If you understood perspectives and this present discussion, you'll be laughing at yourself now.

After the kidnappers take the ransom, they wont spend it (inject it back into the economy) they will eat it raw. Ever since people has been paying millions in ransom, have you heard of cash scarcity until recently ??
I don make up my mind not to argue with any adamant person this year. To each his own, you don win.

Why Nigerians dey always like to stand on their ignorance, then attack a person leaving out the main issue at hand. Na wa for una o.
Let me explain in simpler language.
Central Bank of Nigeria wey be the Apex bank after some days of the cash scarcity say make una nor too depend on cash ( reason best known to them) say make una dey use other forms of payments like transfer and atm cards. Doesn't that mean they know something about the cash scarcity ??
Business / Re: Between Opay POS And Moniepoint POS Machine, Which Is Durable to used(pics) by rex21: 4:54pm On Jan 01
Tonytonex:
off course it's true. And kidnappers also add to it. POS operators and kidnappers hoarding the cash. Hence the scarcity.
Your CBN that asked you to embrace other payment platforms are working with the people you mentioned right ?? You people should take listening to news and verifying claims very serious this new year.

dominique:
These POS people are the ones responsible for the naira scarcity we're currently experiencing. They're the ones mopping up and hoarding all the cash used by traders and customers hence making it scarce so that they can resell at high profits. I hope the government regulate their activities ASAP.
And your CBN that asked you to embrace other payment platforms doesn't know anything about the scarcity ??
You people should be following up on new events oo. Make them nor go leave you behind.

Lebanon has been a mess since 2019, the government ripped it's citizens through the bank! You probably don't know about this, people lost their life savings and nothing was done to the perpetrators! I do not trust anything controlled my men! The heart of man is wicked and desperate. I wanted to setup a Twitter or YouTube centered around, crime, money, power and war, but was discouraged by the fact that contents like that don't gather traffic like the trash they put out on Tiktok and the others. Subscribed some unbiased investigative journalist.
I dnt trust these financial institutions though, both digital and traditional. But people shouldn't look down on these digital platforms because they lack physical/walk-in outlets.
They have the same insurance cover (200k/500k) both backed by the NDIC

Not as worse as you make it seem, more like I don't trust them with my funds! The Silicon Valley Bank crisis of 2023 and many others, validates my concerns. Heck even local
Chinese lost billions to a large scale coordinated bank scam last year! and the government protected the banks involved. You think I'll put one hundred percent faith in something run by humans🙄. I'd be more at peace if dogs where in charge of our finances.
I see what you are getting at and its true.

This one doesn't even know the meaning of insults, how pathetic. Talking about withstanding insults, if i start, you fit pack from your house run. Your comments shows you are completely and comfortably oblivious of how things work. I'd rather discuss with a toddler than this over grown baby privileged to own a smart phone. Do have a nice day!

Your brain cannot tell you that your money is more secure in a bank that have been in existence since 1894 with over 700 branches across the nation than an unknown digital bank that only a few people use, not even one of the popular ones ooooo.

So first bank will just wake up one night and shut down without you hearing news about it before it actually happens

Na you sabi jare grin grin
Thats why i said your statement is myopic and ignorant.

Nigerians are slow learners! Why put more than what you can lose in a Digital Bank! Even if it's more efficient than standard banks, I'll never put more than 50k in some shitty digital bank! As reliable as cash app people most times don't put more than $3k inside And here is one Nigerian putting over a million naira in GoMoney😆
How smart are you. Are you using banks with the feeling that they'll run with your money one day ??

Statements like this is both myopic and ignorant. Besides insurance coys (NDIC). nothing, i mean NOTHING is safe guarding your money in any bank. If they intend to run, they'll sell those 'structures' before you hear of their exit on the news.

When we have clueless people managing the country this is what we get..

1. Pay more attention to Agriculture people must eat

2. Fix your port where people can export there goods within 2days

3. Fix your road

4. Investing in agriculture meaning employing youth to work with the plenty empty land in Nigeria that is wasting and been use as a hub for kidnapping.

Oga nigeria from ogun state express to Delta convert those land to farms

Nigeria would not be the same in the next 3 years.

Only One farming season bro.
Education / Re: Can A Secondary School Certificate Holder Be Termed “Educated”? by rex21: 9:26am On Dec 02, 2023
Clearly, a lot of nairalanders don't even know what education is. Education has little to do with schooling. First, There is formal and informal education. while formal education is based on the school you talked about, informal education has nothing to do with school.

I never indulge in long talk on borrowed airtime. How can a human being justify borrowing 2k airtime, not to talk of 4k and above. You reason am. I attached a picture.

How is that difficult to get

Obi is the only candidate that campaigned on issue and even the devil knows that
If not that Nigerians are very da.ft people, how can someone come out to say that Obi campaigned on religion and tribalism. He was the only contender who was dishing out figures and calculations at every campaign. He was the candidate who was most scrutinzed for his quotes and figures. How can a sane human link him to religious and ethnic politics. Entertaining such mediocre statement from the presidency shows that our mumu never do. We no too normal for this country.
