Time to suspect new faces with strange movement and absurd mission. The man in pic is a replicate of terrorism. May all of them fail in their deadly acts and mission. He is one of the beasts terrorising the world, and may not be the only one that has entered into the country. Time to suspect some politicians and religious leaders, they are the ones that can host and cater for this kind of dangerous foreigners.

How come that Islamic clerics are the forces inspiring terrorist groups or organizations at different places, despite strong denial of those sects by many Muslims?

Islamic headquarters of Saudi Arabia should come to the forefront and renounce in totality the islamic membership and affiliate of various terrorist sects.

Until that is done the stain will always be there for the religion. As I believe religion must not exist to hurt and cause trouble in any form, rather it must purify and free minds from thoughts of evil, and restructure the society.

Christianity EtcRe: Sunday School Lessons: What Do You Gain To Share With Others? by Rexyl(op):
From Darkness to Light.
When the world was in the spiritual darkness and evil became the order of the day God gave His word as the light that would guide people out of darkness and lead them through the right path. The light of God's glory dispels spiritual darkness and leads believers through the way of salvation. Jesus has been given as the Light that reveals spiritual darkness and the One that saves and sets lives free from sin. Isaiah 60:1 - Arise and shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. We have these for discussion: Sin Results in Spiritual Darkness; The Light Dispels Darkness, and Live in the Everlasting Light.

Sin Results in Spiritual Darkness: If iniquity is not a barrier God would have been very close to people, providing all they need without spending much time on prayer. At different times God would warn the Israelites and demand obedience to His word before dealing harshly with them. God makes it known to people that His hand is never too short to save and that He always hears when people pray, but iniquities and lack of repentance have separated people from Him (Isaiah 59:1-2, 8 ). God detests sin because He is Holy and sin is foreign to His nature (1 Peter 1:15&16; James 4:7; John 7:24; 2Corinthians 13:5).

When the Israelites stumbled in spiritual darkness they found themselves in hopeless situation and they began to struggle for deliverance. They couldn't find the way out until they confessed their sins and were ready for repentance (Isaiah 59:9-13). God is just and doesn't want His people to loose sense of justice.

The Light Dispels Darkness: Isaiah prophecy further reveals the events meant for the future concerning Messiah, the Redeemer. The One that would defeat and destroy the enemy and evil in the world and make those who are saved spend the eternity with him. The Redeemer will be filled with the Spirit of God, and God the Father will put His word to his mouth. Through him true believers will receive the word of God (the gospel of the kingdom) which they shall proclaim to the ends of the earth with the power of Holy Spirit (Isaiah 59:19-21).

The Light transforms lives and draws believers to the glory of God. Jesus is referred to as the light that draws gentiles to salvation (Luke 2:23; Acts 13:47; 26:23). Those who accept the gospel will receive the spiritual light and reflect the glory of God in this earth.

Live in the Everlasting Light: The Light brings about restoration. When Israel is finally restored, violence and destruction will be replaced with the walls of Salvation and the gate called praise. God will supply the needs of the people and restore their prosperity. The nation will also experience peace and salvation of God (Isaiah 60:15-18). All these prophecies concerning Israel will be fulfilled when Christ returns to set up his kingdom on earth. The redeemed of the Lord - Jews and Gentiles will be part of the kingdom.

Isaiah's and Revelation's prophesies confirm that Jesus is the Light. Both describe the millennium events that will transform the creation and usher in the new heavens and the new earth (Isaiah 60:19-22). When we receive Jesus as the Light of the world we will find rest to our souls and receive life (John 1:4-9; John 8:12; John 12:35-36; John 1:6-7). His gospel has continued to shine the spiritual light in the world, and those sharing the message will renew their strength in God, receive the joy of salvation and will be made the people of God. To God be the glory. Lesson texts: Isaiah 59: 1 thru 60:22

It looks like the most senior wife has a born again Christian's code. There would be great surprises in heaven. What if the late Ooni gave his life to Christ on his hospital bed and finally made it? Lucky is a man who lived to his age and saw death coming, and gave his life to Christ. Foolish is the one who lived up to his age, saw death coming and still declined to reconcile with God through Christ.
How do you know that? Really God doesn't want death of a sinner but that a sinner repents and turns to him before death strikes. While at the same time no one can mock God, whatever man sows he shall reap.
BusinessSenate Cracks Down On Illegal Electricity Tariffs, Abolishes Fixed Charges by Rexyl(op): 4:29pm On Aug 14, 2015
If the news is true I will say kudos to the senators who are working to put an end to PHCN fraud in the country, and those who are committed to the needs of the downtrodden. The company has dubiously extorted customers for years while all reactions couldn't produce positive results.

The Nigerian Senate yesterday directed the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) led by Mr. Sam Amadi, to immediately suspend the fixed charge of N750.00, which it has been collecting from electricity consumers across the federation following unending complaints against the policy , deemed as a rip-off by Nigerians.

The Upper Chamber particularly argued that a consumer has the right to elect to be part of, or not, of the bulk metering scheme that was introduced by the electricity distribution companies (Discos).

As a result, the Red Chamber, therefore, directed the NERC to urge the Discos to discontinue the practice of compulsory bulk metering of villages and communities in the rural areas.

Also, Senate urged the NERC to inquire into the numerous complaints before it, by consumers, in line with the provisions of Section 74(1)(b) of the PSRA. It also called on NERC and the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) to sensitize electricity consumers on the remedies available to them in the event of inefficient services by the Discos.

Also, it directed NERC to make a regulation to mandate the Discos to discontinue the practice of making consumers pay for meters, poles and transformers, which by law, are properties of the Discos, adding however that where consumers purchase those items, they should give notice of the purchase to the Discos, and should be entitled to recover their expenses from subsequent consumption of electricity.

These were the resolutions from a motion entitled: Unfair Trade Practices of Electricity Distribution Companies in Nigeria, which was sponsored by the duo of Senator Sam Egwu and Senator David Umaru. Delivering the motion on the floor, Egwu noted that Nigerians have been shortchanged by the Discos.

“The distribution companies, since the takeover of their operations, have been ripping off consumers through fixed charges and bulk metering across the country.

Some areas in the country are still billed through the estimated billing system, which doesn’t make provisions for payment of only electricity that is consumed, even though bills are dished out without commensurate services being offered by the distribution companies.

“Despite all efforts by the government, however, there has been constant level of arbitrariness, whereby electricity consumers are charged extortionate rates, fixed rate, based on the use of the billed meters installed by the then Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN). “With the present economic situation in Nigeria, a lot of Nigerians (particularly the downtrodden) would not be able to access one of the very basic needs of life (electricity).

This billing system is also capable of ruining the economic power of most small scale business that requires electricity to function. “Even those (Nigerians) that have this prepaid meters are being billed a fixed rate of about N700 per month on this meters (whether or not they consume electricity).

What is the purpose of this fixed rate? Why is this so? What is the rationale behind it? “By the avalanche of complaints by electricity consumers about the unwholesome practice of the Discos, which fall short of standards established by the NERC and do not also meet up to global best practices, thereby failing in the discharge of their contractual obligations to the Nigerian public”, Egwu said

My brother, that is why it is called politics. You try to outsmart the next person. . . legally. Akala also tried to outsmart everyone else to hold the structure. Same as Jumoke Akinjide who thought she could use her federal might to do it. Folarin won at the end of the day. Simple.
If he won the primary he should got more votes than Akala who defected the last minute but still got more votes in a party that is not popular in the State. Teslim was totally a wrong choice going by the outcome. Simple.

stinggy:
Akala is a cheap opportunist. He was silemt for the better part of Ajimobi's tenure when PDP needed her members, only to spring back close to election period.
The party would have been long dead in Oyo state if people like Seyi Makinde, Teslim Folarin, etc decided not to fund the party.

Party workers were owed salaries, it was people like Seyi and Folarin who offset those debts, Akala was completely silent. How do repay those party loyalists who took upon themselves the burden of the party?
But the same Akala was seen as the strongest man of the party in the State before Teslim used all means to snatch the party structure from him, thinking he had more recognition and influence than Akala. Everyone knew if Akala had emerged as the govnorship candidate the party could not have failed woefully. Both Teslim and Makinde lost to the oppostion in their consistuencies while Akala won his consistuency and others.
