All these trekkers, riders should find work to do. People here are not ready to celebrate mediocrity, but meaningful contributions to economic growth and national development. |
Dinhodinho:How? |
Buhari's probe shouldn't stop in Abuja on FG mismanagement and all sorts of corruption, stealing and lies. He should extend same to all States for the sake of posterity. Presently many States are broke as a result of serious looting by the governors and their colaborators; salaries are not being paid and developmental projects are not moving as expected. States like... are seriously indebted |
nastyesco:Christianity spread by violence you mean? Pls read the Bible, follow Christ life and teachings, then learn how the disciples and apostles managed to spread Christ message and established the KINGDOM MINISTRY on earth amidst stiff opposition, attacks and persecution. READ THE BIBLE AND NOT THE FAILED HISTORY. Divine peace God brought to the world through Christ's message is traced to final fulfilment of GOD'S NEW COVENANT ESTABLISHED IN THE BIBLE, not in secular history or any other religious collections and practices not based on the BIBLE. |
danbrowndmf:Time for you people to wake from slumber, rise up against the enemies within and outside the State. Terrorism will thrive where the fanatists get support. E fura o |
It seems the terrorists are done with the Northeast, and now they might be contemplating shifting to northcentral and other parts. I would like everyone to be vigilant and get prepared to challenge all strange movement, gathering and mobilization of people, even strange Islamic centers should be under close watch. Ifura ni ogun agba. E fura o. |
PDP & APC politicking and maneuvering is the headache of the current democratic system in the country. We have been seeing transfer of inefficiency and aggression between the two parties. They will show more surprises after they both resume fully to be at each other neck. APC problems could be worse in the end than what we experienced in central PDP government. The party bred many political prostitutes and traitors than loyalists. This might make the structure faulty. From CPC+ ANPP+ ACN + PDP decampees to APC. If care is not taken PDP may restructure, come out stronger and find a way through possible loopholes and weaknesses of APC and emerge as a party to beat very soon. |
Kwakwaso why now, as huge as the state allocation is you couldn't prevent this before it happened. This is one of the states of cluelessness in Kano State. |
Wisdom for Daily living Everyday we decide and make choices but consequences of our choices determine the wisdom of our actions. Right choices help to achieve good results while wrong choices often result in serious consequences. People can be guided to make wise choices through God's word. We don't just read God's Word to get wisdom; we keep and apply the word to act carefully and diligently while dealing with issues. Proverbs 4:26-27. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. We have the followings for discussion: Futility of Chasing Possession; Necessity of Wise Decisions; Work wisely; Trust God. Futility of Chasing Possessions: Running after material things and possessing them without satisfaction makes struggles a futile exercise (Ecclesiastes 5:10-12). Temporary satisfaction in possessions attracts greed and makes a person to always seek out for more and more of material things that after some times it results in lack of satisfaction and toxic worry. The wealthy and unsatisfied person will be in constant worry but the man who laboured and was satisfied will live in peace with his possessions. It is good to pursue and acquire wealth but we should be able to leave a good legacy. Parents should be hardworking and try as much as they could to invest in the children that will succeed them. It is not good enough for someone to spend time and energy pursing material things and amassing wealth without consideration for a secured future for others (Ecclesiastes 5:13-17). Human labour for possessions is futile if people wouldn't identify and do things that have eternal value. Life will always present unending challenges, struggles and dissatisfactions; those who depend on God and use His wisdom to set priorities and pursue the most important things will live satisfactory and fulfilling lives. Necessity of Wise Decisions: Godly wisdom is required to make good decisions and right choices that will lead to success and happiness. When we apply godly wisdom we will be in a better position to raise those who have fallen as a result of wrong choices and help others make wise decisions (Ecclesiastes 10:1-7). Wise decision is needed to relate with others and treat issues about the authorities carefully well. When the authority is not fair to us or doesn't treat us as expected, we shouldn't respond carelessly; we should trust God and respond by wisdom. He equips those who trust Him to deal with life's injustices and human failings. Life activities involve risks and rewards. We can not stop doing the work that will help us accomplish our goals even if it involves risks Ecclesiastes 10:8-12). Fear of failure, costs or other risks should not stop us from doing the tasks that offer potential blessings. All we need is wisdom of God that will guide us to adopt and apply practical skills that will make the work easier and more effective. Sometimes opportunities can lead to losses, we need to be very wise and cautious and avoid unnecessary risks while pursuing goals. Also, we should guard against behaviours and speeches that can cause problems where we are pursing our goals (verse 12). Work Wisely; Trust God: Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 teaches us to take investment risk, meet needs of others and invest wisely. Investment is like a sown seed. The seed must be buried somewhere it will break down, rise again and after many days produce many good fruits. We also find the counsel about diversifying investments to reduce risks. If one fails others should give hope. If we follow God's word and apply His wisdom we will hasten our success and help others to succeed. God's freely given resources are not only to meet our needs and give us pleasure; they must be used to appreciate and glorify Him. As we convert God's given resources to our possessions we are reminded to acknowledge His control over the resources and trust Him with our lives. He gives the life and supports it with good things. While we enjoy His provisions we should faithfully serve Him. He will not disappoint us if we can invest our time and energy toward realizing His purpose for our lives. To God be the glory. Lesson texts: Ecclesiastes 5:10-17; 10:1-12; 11:1-6 |
ledaman:But it wasn't by surprise that spirit of d dead PDP resurrected in APC. Everyone knows that this change is unarguable. Obj was just the umpire that coordinated the transition. Nigerians will always react as different parties of the same beginning roll over the same deficit over the years. |
Febby9:Hope you are a member of armed forces and currently writing your professional exams. If so huge rewards await you. |
xhamel89:Ok nah. These ISPs should do better than what they are doing presently. I have used Airtel for long and enjoyed their BIS working on other devices, but that doesn't mean they should frustrate us and weaken our patronage. Other countries don't get access to internet so expensive as services of these networks. |
Thandolwethu:The message is loaded with hate, indictment and the mindset was to incite and spark more violence. What is the proportion of foreigners from fellow African contries to you people that when you perceive criminal activities you take laws into your hands instead of engaging your national security and allowing rule of law to take effect. MORE THAN YOU CAN DISCUSS HERE AND DEFEND YOUR ATTACKS ON THE FOREIGNERS, PEOPLE HERE SAW YOUR CRIMES CLEARER AND UNDERSTOOD YOUR BEHAVIOURS BETTER. Those ascribing laziness to your crimes might be right. You get it totally wrong by comparing terrorism in Nigeria to attacks on foreigners in South Africa. The current terrorist activities are peculiar to other countries but attacks on foreigners in South Africa are meant to disposses them all they have laboured for in your country. Your MTN and Shoprite are helping to build Nigeria and develop our people in the similar way our economic activities and unmatched foreign assistance have helped build your country. JUST AS NIGERIA CAN NOT STAND IN ISOLATION SOUTH AFRICA TOO CAN'T SURVIVE IN ISOLATION. YOUR COMPANIES IN NIGERIA NEED OUR PATRONAGE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. |
searching4lovee:May God help you out of ignorance. |
searching4lovee:This your submission is only understood by you and your likes. You even have the gut to say your life is better lived and more secure if it entrusted with uncultured, uncivilized and barbaric people - those who can wicked you and made you fall to their threats. You appear like someone subdued or a victim. Only God will help the likes of you understand the reason Ekiti people are solidly behind Fayose. |
Now Ekiti people should rally round their governor and join hands with him to build STRONG AND SOLID STATE BUILT ON TRUTH AND VISION, NOT A STATE BUILT ON LIES AND FALSEHOOD. FROM THE LOOK OF THINGS THE INCOMING CENTRAL GOVERNMENT WILL HARDLY MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IF IT IS BASED ON POLTICS OF DESPERATION, NOT READY TO ACCEPT DEFEAT WHERE IT IS DEFEATED. SERIOUS GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE SERIOUS OPPOSITION, IT'S LIKE THE INCOMING ADMINISTRATION WOULDN'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. |
Can't just understand what some State governments mean. They think they can hide under a finger and continue to deceive people. It pleases them to blame Jonathan for their failures, but Abuja has made known that all States have been paid statutory allocations up to date. Still we have States owing worker months of unpaid salaries, and if you ask those in government reason for that they will say they are not paid by the Federal Government. |
With the landmines planted anywhere in the bush, it will be so difficult for Nigerian troops to advance and comb the forests for timely end of terrorist activities. No matter the difficulty the troops will flush out the terrorists and secure the troubled north from her violent and troublesome boko haram fighters. |
temitemi1:If you have learned a lesson from Gej and Fayose I wonder lessons those who have criticized you learned from the politicians who are greedily rich while their people are wallowing in abject poverty. PEOPLE AND HYPOCRISY SHA |
End shall ever wonder... The richest politicians with the poorest people in the land. It would be like they impoverish their their people so that they Will be easily controlled and fortunes made from them. The North makes the richest politicians and the poorest people in Nigeria. |
Which octacore processor and mtk phone can be ranked the best in terms of strength, performance and correct specifications? |
gistmelove:Whatever they are named anywhere in Africa they are doomed for destruction on earth and in heaven. The devil incarnate calling themselves human beings. |
Airtel data consumption na baba. The network sucks data so much, though its bis can still be managed on Android with some restrictions. |
pistol:It has been stated times without number that politicians are liars. They should have told people to think and work on what they can do for the State and self-development and never to think of what the State will do for them or how the State will meet their needs. THE STATES OF THE LIVING SPRING! People of the State also need the spring of life for living. |
ExXx:You mean this your prices are real? ,N1200 for 5gb for all networks. And MTN data share has been modified and made easier to share data with as many customers as possible without any restrictions? |
Some are confused about life after death, thus they fear their end on earth and the coming judgment as discibed in the scriptures concerning how people will spend eternity. Only those who are truly in Christ have no that kind of fear. That's fear of ![]() |
It's happening. We are watching how events unfold within the next few weeks |
I thought they Said there wasn't any rigging in the State. Though the governorship election was peaceful and the winner emerged, people could hardly celebrate him. |
