Should APC lose the Lagos governorship election, Tinubu would be left in a quandary. All the Northern timber and caliber who were missing in action throughout the campaign when Tinubu, Fashola and other Southern politicians were running helter-skelter with Buhari, will soon come out of the woodwork to claim their Buhari inheritance. Inevitably, they will overshadow the Southern brigade... My faith requires me to support the weak. Therefore, I will always support the minority against the tyranny of the majority. We cannot be reliant on South-South oil in Nigeria and then treat one of their sons as if he is an impostor for being president of the country. The fact of the matter is that this presidential election was the result of a vicious and malicious gang-up of the majority ethnic groups against the minorities. geedeex2:You mean there is no sense in Femi Aribasala observation! Stop fooling yourself and face the reality |
Sanuzi:Interestingly APC tacticians are the same people who were made famous by PDP. These politicians are just deceiving Nigerians by giving them the last option. They are the ones changing their situation. I would like a formidable opposition against the new government because the incoming administration may end up pursuing similar course that sank PDP. |
ozoigbondu:It's like you want to remove nut from the shell. |
Democracy has been like this! Same people we are trying to avoid are the ones always manoeuvring their ways to be our leaders. Nothing has changed. Just recently Obj publicly said he wouldn't participate in politics again for his remaining years. Now the story has changed. Buhari also said 2011 presidential election would be his last contest. Now the story has changed. Is that the celebrated change you people keep shouting for? Gmb and Obj are just like same politician |
Sometimes issues of serious threats start like a joke. The monarch has cracked the most expensive joke. Had it been jokes of the insulgents of the northeast was given serious reaction and attention by the government we couldn't have battled boko haram for years. People often speak out their intentions, we shouldn't presume all arguments are for a joke. |
Soyedele1:Incomplete or forged certificate... They are watching and waiting, they may reopen their case. |
olatunji21:That's what I mean. It was like people voted against their interests. Ladoja for that matter, beaten in his consistency...many people in my place regretted the development. IT WAS LIKE THEY WERE BLINDED. |
olatunji21:So for this reason they voted for Buhari and the three senators, even if the best candidates were in other parties. That would be a Serious issue in the State. |
Such inciting statement is not expected of a monarch. He is not expected to play divisive roles in his domain. |
@ olatunji21 The presidential elections in the State was like a fraud. It was like majority of voters were morally defrauded. After the results of the house of representatives and senate many were filled with guity conscience, it was like they voted against their interests. This may be difficult to believe but proper examination of people's reactions will help you understand. |
From the picture above, that was how innocent students were brutally killed because they were not Muslims. Oh my God let your kingdom come and put an end to this wickedness in the name of a religion Islam needs to reform so that people can distinguish btw peaceful religion and cult. God of love can't be wicked and devilish. Is it by doing like this the followers will agree their religion is the fastest growing in the world? We can't just understand the logic. Generations of other religious groups are being destroyed in large number daily, monthly and yearly. |
Now that the State seems to be tired of the present system, something must still work, and it's people's choice again that will determine that. The best option for now.... |
engrhorla:at the same time the drivers can be reckless and drive roughly if there are no forces to check him, he can even plunge passengers into trouble. Everywhere strong opposition must be available to guard against atrocities of ruling party. this time around the electorates should vote with reason, not blindly as they did during the presidential elections that after voting many felt as if they were blindfolded. Many voted against the real candidates of their choice. |
We have got to the time to vote the candidate we can trust. People should no longer be deceived by these politicians, when they are canvassing for votes and they continue their lies by saying same party for the 3 tiers of government. Electorates should have learnt to say no to politics of blind followership. That of presidential election was a typical example. |
Let my vote count in favour of the man you believe can do the work better. |
When will Northeast jihadists/terrorists stop senseless killing of the innocent? Have they regrouped again from Kenya? They should stop all this nonsense |
MalcoImX:Just let's be praying boko haram, their sponsors and sympathizers will soon be put to shame for life. That's my greatest expectation for now in the North. |
MalcoImX:God answers prayers. Arise o Lord, let your enemies be scattered. Just pray enemies of progress and stability of the country will get confused in their wickedness and begin to engage themselves. That's result of divine solution on most difficult problems. It has happened before that certain enemies get confused and faced themselves until the least among them was consumed. |
thecommunist: tartar9:Keep dreaming of all possible means to stamp out jihad/terorrism in a society that wants to progress in stable peace. You mean it can't be possible? The evil can't just continue for life like that, a time will come when people will stand to get rid of common evil that does no one any good. |
chrisviral:Google that has many fingers typing behind the screen... Lol |
MKO4ever:Google can help you complete numerous complex tasks without much stress. Just take the names one by one and ask google to do the finding if you can't read the whole Bible line by line. The OP really took the pain of searching for all these and writing them out for you and I to read. |
Experiencing the Resurrection (Easter) Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life, through him we find the hope of life after death. We will be the most miserable believers if our hope in Christ is limited to life on this earth. The power that raised Christ from death is alive and will enable those who believe in him to witness his resurrection. Philippians 3:10 - That I may know him (Christ), and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. We have the followings for discussion: Recognising the Risen Christ; Relationship with the Risen Christ; Restored by the Risen Christ. Recognising the Risen Christ: Mary Magdalene whom Jesus delivered from demons was the first person to see the risen Jesus. She discovered that the stoned had been rolled away from the tomb, and tomb was empty (John 20:1,11-15). She was disturbed, thinking Christ's corpse had been stolen, but she was told to hold her peace because Christ had risen as promised. A moment later the resurrected Christ appeared to her but she couldn't recognise him as she was filled with grief. She later recognised Jesus when he called her name, then her grief was replaced with joy. Jesus commanded her to go and tell his disciples about his resurrection. Christians should not allow worries and challenges to make them loose focus on Christ. Relationship with the Risen Christ: Jesus continued to show himself to his troubled disciples. He appeared to two of his troubled followers and rebuked them on their their failure to understand what the scriptures had stated concerning his death and resurrection (Luke 24:13-17; 26-27). When we are faced with crisis situation and become discouraged that we seem to question God's presence with us, we just have to remember that the living Saviour we are servings will not forget about us. The two followers were enlightened in the scriptures and encouraged by the risen Saviour. With the presence of resurrected Christ their grief and disappointment were removed and they were given the courage to spread the good news. Restored by the Risen Christ: Jesus appeared to the disciples a number of times after his resurrection. On one of his appearances Jesus assured Peter that he was still the 'Rock' upon whom His Church would be built, despite he was denied by him at the crucifixion. He asked Peter three times if he loved him; the questions were to determine the dept of the love Peter had for Christ (John 21: 1-2; 15-18) after previous denial. Consequently, Peter learned that love for God should be shown by affection and care for others. Peter was restored by the risen Savour to God's service. Jesus told Peter to feed his sheep (the followers) after responses affirming his commitment (John 21:17-19). He would occupy special position and play crucial roles of uniting and caring for fellow believers. All Christians today are expected to respond the way Peter responded whenever they are called for service in the Church; they must care for others and spread the gospel. In the face of any challenges we must remember that the resurrected Saviour is alive and ready to intervene on our behalf. To God be the glory. Lesson texts: Luke 24:13-35; John 20:1-18; 21:1-23. |
ShakurM:He is not stated as prophet Isa in the Bible. Where did you get that? |
huhmuhyehmi:With all these deposited into someone life, what a life of hope, abundance of peace and being made a perfect son of God. With all these in me and I myself in Christ I am wonderful SON OF ALMIGHTY GOD. Happy Easter. May the joy of Easter fill my life. |
MalcoImX:Who is exterminating them when the fighters are made up of the same tribes of the North? The situation out there was like violence for want of power, and now it is gotten. We are learning and following |
I need to know your father and mother, and possibly your.tribe, so that your situation can be critically looked into for possible intervention @teufelein |
teufelein:What's this one saying and what is her motives? You must ague with reasons, not by insults, because if you continue to misbehave that way nobody will take you serous. |
ozoigbondu:Hope other politicians are learning from President Jonathan in his call for peace and approach towards contesting for political posts that ambition of any politicians is not worth blood of any person. |
CAMNEWTON4PRES:All these killings and destruction in the name of islam, truly Muslims must make the religion globally acceptable as a peaceful religion. If it's certain components of their scriptures the source of confusion (peace and terror side by side), they must gather together under solemn assembly to excise those portions so that they can truly live in peace with all people they come in contact with or coexist with. |
Those are the eyes of murderers, agents of Satan causing problems everywhere they are. |
abduljabbar4:And at the same time we know those who said massive attacks on boko haram was an attempt to decimate the North... and that boko haram are the freedom fighters... Now those are the ones to be heads of the incoming administration. Who is fooling who? |
