Yes the state wasn't paid...cos the president decides who gets that, now u go make ur research.
You too can be deceived to accept that lie, that the State has not received her statutory allocations since last year. These politicians are a big liar. And the State has spent billions on campaign.

Am in no doubt ajimobi got massive protest votes againt him in some quarters. He lost as expected in ogbomoso area. But what ibadan people don't know is that he is very popular outside ibadan. In oke-ogun area and ibarapa. He played smart in these areas. Check result from the 10LGAs in oke-ogun and see how massive it was. Iseyin for example covered a deficit on Ogbomoso north. The highway he constructed there has opened the town, in kajola my LG a road constructed by his govt runs thru my country home. That was a place where we thot we'd neva see a built road cos of heavy rocks. We that voted him did so cos we have faith in his administration. Ladoja and Akala where pdp gov with pdp fed Govt, yet nuin of note could be Pointed to that dey did. Most akala roads are now spoit and rebuild by ajimobi. Did u know GEJ didn't give oyo state and all SW states Ecological fund but gave ekiti as soon as fayose came in? Did u kno oyo state was duped by some bastards (Oysters) who didn't remit the money from okada registrations to state pocket. My friend worked there b4 they were all laid off. Did u kno workers kno the situation of Nigeria's economy and they kno aligning with FG is best 4 this state atleast 4 now. At molete a while back. A tanker fell killin a wife and her children in d car, thankGod Ajimobi cleared that place, imagine how many lifes that would hav bin lost. Ajimobi wil do well in 2nd term, I have no doubt and that's y I voted him tho he owes my mum's pension since January. I have told her to worry not, cos she will get it. For seyi makinde, I'd suggest he joins Apc and work closely with Ajimobi...Goodluck Oyo state
You mean the State wasn't given ecological funds? You need more enlightenment bro to get fact right. Though I congratulate governor Ajimobi, he played the game smartly

it's only greedy people that are not happy, those that want to share govt money are the ones that are sad.
I have families in Ibadan and I am always visiting, you can't compare what we have in terms of roads today to what we had before. somebody honest enough will tell you the guy is working but he is not sharing money, that's their only problem with him.
secondly, I wldnt expect anything from Ogbomosho and Oyo, they are more convenient being in the opposition than joining hands with the centre(ibadan). the earlier they learn to cooperate the better for everybody.
You are wrong bro. It is true majority are not happy. The minority managed to carry the day while the majority are beaten in the game. The majority divided among itself thus giving way to the minority. Even the majority that wasn't happy was in ibadan. The incumbent governor was mostly favoured in many towns away from Ibadan.

It's when government is changed that we can know leaders that have integrity. If not they will stomach their loots and escape with it.
Christianity EtcRe: Sunday School Lessons: What Do You Gain To Share With Others? by Rexyl(op):
Time and Eternity
We were not created by chance, God created us for His glorious purposes: to serve Him, appreciate His work, manage His gifts very well and care for others. He is the beginning and works through the time to sustain our lives and give us the expected end. Ecclesiastes 3:14 - I know that whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. We have the followings for discussion: A Time for everything; Eternity in our Hearts and God's sovereignty and Human Mortality.

A Time for everything: We plan with the time and set targets to achieve results within a specified period of time. Time marks the division between the beginning and the end of life events (Ecclesiastes 3:1-3). The book of Ecclesiastes invites us to understand purpose of living and divine attributes about life. God gives us the life to pursue His eternal purposes and provides earthly resources as His free gifts, but if we fail to appreciate Him our accomplishments are meaningless. We must allow God to direct our steps and guide us through our actions. Life situations often follow God's plan, therefore we should see Him through our situations. If we find ourselves in the mood of rejoicing we should not look down on others who have different experiences.

Likewise if we are down and it seems like things are not working well as we could have expected we should not be completely overwhelmed and become depressed. We should look up to God and allow His Spirit to lead us through shifting circumstances. Life is full of changes only God never changes, and can give lasting joy and peace. During the season of joy we should not be selfish and forget about the needs of others. Likewise we should not forget about God's promises during our season of sorrow. He will strengthen and help us grow spiritually during the process.

Eternity in Our Hearts: God's purpose for our lives aims to help us through life and prepare us for eternal life. We can't just gain His eternal life without doing what He demands of us. God assigns responsibilities to those who are made His people. As part of His divine plan He promised to make every component of life beautiful in its own time (Ecclesiastes 3:9-13). God's provision of eternity is not far off, it has already been placed in our hearts because we believe in Him and live by His truth.

God has placed knowledge of His existence and divine acts in us. His eternal purpose for our lives can not be understood by sense and reasoning, it is beyond human explanation (Ecclesiastes 3:14). His divine power requires deep spiritual reverence to understand. God's purpose of life and His eventual judgement are as described. The only way people will not be found wanting at the judgment is when they satisfy the required standard of holiness through saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

God Sovereignty and Human Mortality: We may not like to think about death, but it is an inevitable end of our existence on earth; knowing it's reality should help us set priorities for living (Ecclesiastes 9:1-6). Our wealth, position and achievements can not stop death. While we are alive and have the grace to enjoy God's free gifts we should live with purpose. The dead could not do anything again about living, and nothing can be done by those who are alive to help the dead. God will evaluate all lives and judge people according to their deeds while on earth. There is much to life after death. People should should live according to God's purpose if they want to make eternal life.

Prayers can no longer work for the dead, they will remain unconscious in the grave until they are raised to face the judgement, nothing again can be added or removed from their earthly records (Ecclesiastes 9:7-10). Life had been lived and the record book closed. The life after death will offer blessing and curse, eternal reward and eternal judgement, all people shall be rewarded according to their deeds. To God be the glory. lesson texts: Ecclesiastes 3:1-15; 9 1-10

Double standard
So the North can now say no to underage voters after they were used for presidential election. This country is a big fraud. That means they wouldn't want to use what they used against Jonathan to be used against themselves. It is a pity that we are always celebrating fraud in Nigeria.

I AM WONDERING HOW STATES THAT ARE NOT UP TO HALF OR ONE-THIRD OF OYO STATE COULD COUNT VOTES IN MILLIONS, FAR GREATER THAN EXPECTED VOTES. That means they used underage voters.

But life was never this hard during his time. Presently many are struggling to survive hardship in the State. More money could have disappeared now than before. Hope the State will get that refunded too when it is time. These politicians are milking the treasury without being checked. If there is change of government, millions if not billions of naira would be discovered somewhere.

When will those agents of Satan stop wasting lives of the innocent to the amazement of their blood thirsy god? May God help us to overcome enemies of progress. Can't they wait again till May ending to get what they have been wasting lives and properties for?

How do you mean while I was making reference to those aspects of "tit for tat" on which someone was trying to justify acts of evil? What I am saying in essence is Old Testament laws have been renewed to reveal true love of God toward mankind, by which people should relate with one another and fulfill His purpose.

From all indications, Fayose of Ekiti is like Tinubu of Lagos. I don't think he can be outsmarted in his game. We are watching how events unfold from next Saturday, though some believe his government would be sacked few weeks after Buhari becomes the president. You said Christ message to people like you is a curse? That means you are UNREPENTANT SINNER, WHO MAY NEVER LIVE HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS LIFE WHICH GOD EXPECTS OF PEOPLE. Pls quote evil, wickedness, unrighteous you find in Christ gospel. If you cannot I am ready to enlighten you and help you out of your ignorance.

I can see you mix things up and get confused; you can't separate between western culture and socialization which to some extent have no regards for religion. Have you seen any western countries mixing religion and politics. And it is good that way because politics stains and corrupts religion. In politics you find war, killing and destruction but religion should make peace, promote fairness and justice and renounce any form of violence in the society. PRESENTLY IT'S ISLAM THAT ATTACHES RELIGION TO POLITICS THUS MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT'S FREEDOM FROM VIOLENCE esp among those who subscribe to Arab religious and government system and the others seeing it as a smart form of colonization.

But, now, with the National Conference, all of that will, hopefully, change.

I need to add this note: The question about Ilorin is very likely to become a major bone of contention between the Yoruba and the North at the National Conference
Will the report of national conference be presented for implementation again, when apc pulled out of the conference?

I disagree with you,God cannot fight for you when you don't fight for yourself, the pepple of the old faught for themselves and because God was on their side victory was recorderd. The only language the Northern muslems understands most is violence, burn one church i burn two mosques, kill one christian i kill two muslem, then all these rubish will stop. The earlier christians (pastors in particular)stops expunging old testaments from the bible the better for christians,it is high time christians starts applying the laws of Moses after all Christ said that he did not come to nulify the law of moses but to make it more stronger. If anybody thinks that all these will just disappear one day,he is day dreaming.
Christians are not expected to kill and destroy, they are to preach Christ gospel about God's kingdom, love and save souls, help those in darkness and without hope to see the Wonderful light of God's salvation and know his truth. Old Testament law is no longer applicable, Christ has renewed it with the wonderful law of love through which hearts are purged of evil thoughts and wicked desires. We just need to continue praying for those UNBELIEVERS to be converted and conform to new life God demands of them.

Within a Month two Churches have been razed down and completely destroyed in the North. We thank God for internet and access we all have to it. I think I agree with you, infact the whole story was not convincing:
"The Church and all the properties were burnt down in the presence of the Christian Community despite all pleadings for them to stop the destruction. The arsonists gathered cornstalks and put inside the Church in order to cause greater damage":

-The thugs took their time destroying the church while the whole Christian community were pleading
-Is there no police or mobile phone in the community?

"The Christians present exhibited great Christian qualities by not taking the law into their hands by trying to stop them by force. Rather than the arsonist to see reason, they were infuriated which led to setting the house of the Pastor, Rev Habila Garba, ablaze as well. As a result of the fire, one of the Pastor’s daughters died of suffocation and most of the house destroyed."
-The Christian Community folded their arms while these thugs destroy their church and pastor's house!!!
-How come it was only the Pastor's daughter that died? Where was the Mother, Father, Pastor as well as the whole Community when the Pastor's house was set on fire?

For me, this whole story is a crap
You may also believe that all what boko haram has done in the North is a crap. Don't be blinded by ignorance or join the multitude to defend and do evil. It's like you don't like such news to be captured and reported. Join the move to call the lawless ones of the North to order instead of supporting their wicked activities.
