FamilyRe: I Caught My Husband Sniffing My Niece's Pants by Rhea: 5:01am On Dec 01, 2015
espionagesavvy:
Dear Cynthia
I caught my husband of five years sniffing the panties of my 15 years niece. I don't know if I should confront him or let the issue lie.
I also think he bought my niece a new blackberry phone because the day I insisted on making my niece tell me where she got the phone, he became too overprotective of her and we almost fought over the issue.

My niece recently lost her father, making my sister a widow who let go of her children to stay with her relatives, that is how my niece came to stay with me,
On the 26th of November 2015, I saw him at the backyard next to the heap of clothes my niece brought out to wash, he picked up a pant, my niece's pant and sniffed it, I almost screamed where I was.
Also I keep noticing the look they exchange, very flirtatious.

Lastly my niece is acting like she is his wife, she dishes his food even before the children's food, doesn't knock before opening the door of our bedroom, and the most disturbing is, she asks my husband where he is going when he wants to go out as if she is his wife, my husband is 37 and this girl is 15, I suggested to my husband that we send her off to a boarding school, he rejected the idea and even got angry with me saying it will affect the girl psychologically, as if I want to dump her in a boarding house and run away. I want to confront my husband but I have no evidence, and for my niece I respect my eldest sister so much that I don't know what to do, I feel like an outsider in my own home.

P.S. My husband is a banker and also a pastor at our church.

I sincerely need your advice.
Thank you.

A question like 1+1 is asked to figure out if you can keep your thought process as simple as possible. Sometimes the solution we seek to very unique problems or obstacles can be approached from the basics. So when posed with the question 1+1, be bold enough to say 2. If that does not satisfy the person, then ask them to clarify what assumption they want the question answered. However for all intents and purposes, 1+1=2

This was the same archbishop who vehemently protested the nomination of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi by PDP because he is not of the anglican faith. This was the same man who fought from the pulpit against the election of an Nsukka man as governor.

This is one of the reasons why aruruala has come to stay in Nigeria. When a moral compass like an archbishop can speak from both sides of the mouth, it does not bode well for such a society.

Time to stand up for what you believe

I would have posted this on the islam page, but was not allowed any access because I am not a muslim. In a world, where religious belief should be made an open discourse, I am bemused that some people still find it convenient to hide their true beliefs from hindsight. And therein lies the most important problem facing all muslims today. The loudest mouthpiece for Islam today is ISIS. before now, it was Al-Qaeda. By their barbaric and bloodthirsty words and actions, they have inscribed themselves in the minds and conscience of the world. At a time in history, when everybody is taking advantage of the internet and global media to express themselves unequivocally, it is pathetic that the so called moderate, non-violent muslims have failed to seize this opportunity, and would rather hide under the veil of timidity, while a few savages take over your religion. The muslim of this generation has the golden opportunity to perpetuate that trend or change it for good. I am calling on all peace loving muslims everywhere to make it a prime task to teach the world about Islam. This is the time to snatch the pulpit from the terrorists, raise your voice above theirs and let the world know what you stand for.It is not enough or even factual to deny these people who kill and murder in the name of Allah. They profess the same Allah that you all believe in. This is also not the time to equate every atrocious act they commit, to the bombs that are detonated by Russia in Syria or Syria in Aleppo or Israel in Gaza. None of them wages any of their violent acts in the name of any god. I am yet to hear of anyone detonate a suicide vest in the name of jesus. If islam professes peace, let it show by your actions of peace. If it professes charity and alms giving, then set up the islamic equivalent of the Red cross. Some of the richest nations and people today and muslims. It is time they put their wealth to work to let the world know what it is they believe in and stand for. So far, the impact of the violent terrorist muslims is all that is being felt in the world despite the fact that they make up a very minor minority. It is not enough to denounce their actions or say they are not muslims.

OK...It happened that I 'escorted' this friend of mine to Nsukka in ENUGU STATE to go meet the parents and the family of the girl he wants to settle down with. We were asked to come back the next day for 'The List'. Shaa, to cut the long story short, we returned the next day, and I was like WTF!!

Not that am vexed at NSK people for the high price/cost of getting married to their girls; BUT my anger is that this particular girl that my friend wants to marry is even yet to graduate from her school (a poly) and she's not even fine grin. So on what basis should the list be that high?

Also, what on earth will these guys do with the 50Gallons (NOT 50Gallon o, but Gallons) of palm-wine and 100 tubers of BIG yams that they asked my friend to bring??

NOTE: Cost of wedding no dey the list o! probably after the traditional and white wedding, the couple will resort to eating sand.

www.dubemnaija..com
This is a sign of the changing times. Nsukka used to be the cheapest place from where to marry from. Infact, in some communities there banned festive marriage ceremonies just so the groom can afford the cost. For example, some families get fined if the music coming from your compound during your daughter's marriage ceremony is heard in the next compound. However, most families have caught on to the exorbitant marriage ceremonies that are characteristic of most towns in Imo state. I cam also guess that the groom is not from Nsukka, hence the list. A typical Nsukka man will walk away from it all if you present a list to his family. The items needed are usually so short that a list is not needed.

Two days after one of his media assistant, Opunabo Nko-Tariah discharged an announcement portraying the invalidation of his April eleventh decision as a judicial gangup against him, Rivers state senator, Nyesom Wike has separated himself from Nko-Tariah's remarks.

Talking at a meeting with Rivers state Stakeholders containing serving congresspersons, House of Reps individuals, Traditional rulers and others at the administration house in Port Harcourt yesterday, Wike said he has trust in the legal and that he never sent any of his associates to affront the legal

"Be assured by the Grace of God our lawyers are working hard to file the appeal within stipulated time. I have told people that it is not in our character to cast aspersions on judges. I have also told people not to speak on my behalf to castigate judges. The tribunal is not the final appellate court on this matter. There is no need of castigating the judiciary. We are not one of those when judgment favours you, you says you have confidence in the judiciary. When it does not favour you, you lose confidence in the judiciary. I want to say in the past two days, you must have read where they quoted me as saying judicial terrorism or judicial gang-up, I never said so. And I never authorised anybody to say so on this matter"he said.

The governor added that his team of lawyers are working round the clock to complete the process of filing an appeal against the judgment. Speaking at the solidarity visit, Senator George Sekibo said that Wike was duly elected and his election will be updated in course of the appeal.

This is where the patriotic zeal of Nigerians run out of steam. The Boston bombers were nailed by the collective efforts of ordinary Bostonians who defied all odds, worked from their bedrooms and provided data that led to the nailing of the bombers. You guys mentioning EXIF data and what have you clearly have a clue how to locate these animals. This forum avails you the opportunity to contribute your own quota as a Nigerian who has the interest of his fellow countryman/woman at heart. One of those rockets could end up in your bedroom. You just never know. These rockets will broaden the scope and range of destruction that these animals can wreck. If we have the same zeal that they have, we can conquer them. We cannot just rely on the Nigerian Army to do everything. If you know where these animals are working from, say it. If you have to create a new nairaland profile to feel safe doing so, then by all means do so. But let's crawl out of our individual holes of indifference and stand up against these monsters who are determined to bring havoc to EVERY ONE OF US
