All these ministers and government officials going to IDPs to score cheap political points while the thieves that call themselves senators are busy pilfering and looting the country dry. |
N2.5bn for media and publicity? That is even worse than arms deal. He would be facing the firing squad in China. |

I have never seen such a large retinue of senators embark on a fact finding mission or visit their constituencies or go out and monitor a road construction or school or hospital construction project. They are busy flying around in their private jets, sharing allocation while the rest of the country suffer. |

A question like 1+1 is asked to figure out if you can keep your thought process as simple as possible. Sometimes the solution we seek to very unique problems or obstacles can be approached from the basics. So when posed with the question 1+1, be bold enough to say 2. If that does not satisfy the person, then ask them to clarify what assumption they want the question answered. However for all intents and purposes, 1+1=2 |
sabi99:Anointing is not forever. Some have expired anointing and just patrolling around deceiving themselves. By their fruits you shall know them. You should have the courage and sense to discern bull.sh.it from miles away. |
TeeOw:In a civilized country, you will go to jail for raising any animal in that building. However this is Nigeria where anything goes. It does not matter. It never seems to matter. And then we wonder why less than 7 out of every 10 WAEC candidate cannot get 5 credits in Nigeria of today. |
I can then postulate that Archbishop Chukwuma needs to sign a contract with ENSG to exorcise the demons abi! Nonsense jagbajantis! This was the same archbishop who vehemently protested the nomination of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi by PDP because he is not of the anglican faith. This was the same man who fought from the pulpit against the election of an Nsukka man as governor. This is one of the reasons why aruruala has come to stay in Nigeria. When a moral compass like an archbishop can speak from both sides of the mouth, it does not bode well for such a society. |

Time to stand up for what you believe I would have posted this on the islam page, but was not allowed any access because I am not a muslim. In a world, where religious belief should be made an open discourse, I am bemused that some people still find it convenient to hide their true beliefs from hindsight. And therein lies the most important problem facing all muslims today. The loudest mouthpiece for Islam today is ISIS. before now, it was Al-Qaeda. By their barbaric and bloodthirsty words and actions, they have inscribed themselves in the minds and conscience of the world. At a time in history, when everybody is taking advantage of the internet and global media to express themselves unequivocally, it is pathetic that the so called moderate, non-violent muslims have failed to seize this opportunity, and would rather hide under the veil of timidity, while a few savages take over your religion. The muslim of this generation has the golden opportunity to perpetuate that trend or change it for good. I am calling on all peace loving muslims everywhere to make it a prime task to teach the world about Islam. This is the time to snatch the pulpit from the terrorists, raise your voice above theirs and let the world know what you stand for.It is not enough or even factual to deny these people who kill and murder in the name of Allah. They profess the same Allah that you all believe in. This is also not the time to equate every atrocious act they commit, to the bombs that are detonated by Russia in Syria or Syria in Aleppo or Israel in Gaza. None of them wages any of their violent acts in the name of any god. I am yet to hear of anyone detonate a suicide vest in the name of jesus. If islam professes peace, let it show by your actions of peace. If it professes charity and alms giving, then set up the islamic equivalent of the Red cross. Some of the richest nations and people today and muslims. It is time they put their wealth to work to let the world know what it is they believe in and stand for. So far, the impact of the violent terrorist muslims is all that is being felt in the world despite the fact that they make up a very minor minority. It is not enough to denounce their actions or say they are not muslims. |
Two drunk monkeys fighting? if it were a prolonged fight, they would even be getting by the side who is going to stab the other first. One less baboon to deport back to Hafrika |
dubemnaija:This is a sign of the changing times. Nsukka used to be the cheapest place from where to marry from. Infact, in some communities there banned festive marriage ceremonies just so the groom can afford the cost. For example, some families get fined if the music coming from your compound during your daughter's marriage ceremony is heard in the next compound. However, most families have caught on to the exorbitant marriage ceremonies that are characteristic of most towns in Imo state. I cam also guess that the groom is not from Nsukka, hence the list. A typical Nsukka man will walk away from it all if you present a list to his family. The items needed are usually so short that a list is not needed. |
bigtimi:Monkey davido. Next time, dem no go miss ya head |
I pray for her recovery so that she can come and account for her stewardship as minister. If she is found guilty, it would cost tax payers less to take care of a healthy inmate than a sick one. |

ilawanson44:This is where the patriotic zeal of Nigerians run out of steam. The Boston bombers were nailed by the collective efforts of ordinary Bostonians who defied all odds, worked from their bedrooms and provided data that led to the nailing of the bombers. You guys mentioning EXIF data and what have you clearly have a clue how to locate these animals. This forum avails you the opportunity to contribute your own quota as a Nigerian who has the interest of his fellow countryman/woman at heart. One of those rockets could end up in your bedroom. You just never know. These rockets will broaden the scope and range of destruction that these animals can wreck. If we have the same zeal that they have, we can conquer them. We cannot just rely on the Nigerian Army to do everything. If you know where these animals are working from, say it. If you have to create a new nairaland profile to feel safe doing so, then by all means do so. But let's crawl out of our individual holes of indifference and stand up against these monsters who are determined to bring havoc to EVERY ONE OF US |
