Education › Re: PLEASE ADVISE: I Want To Sue My School by Rhea: 6:58pm On Dec 22, 2015 |
Danny2701: Hello everyone am a final year student of an higher institution in Nigeria, On the day am defending my project i got a letter from my HOD that i have been expelled from the school for using fake credentials, i was bothered and went home straight to noticed the fake credentials i used, to my surprise i noticed that the WAEC result I submitted has an error, a number was mistaken, 4instead of 3. That is where it all started, i was told to write a letter of appeal for re verification in which i did severally but no response, i went further to see my school registrar and explain the looks of things to him, i begged him to help me and he agreed. He called the man in charge and he said i was rude to the team that verified my result (team that i have never set my eyes on) he agreed with the registrar to solve the issue and the registrar told me i can go everything is going to be alright. After waiting for weeks no response i proceed to the registrar again to know what is wrong and He start with stories. The main reason why i want to sue my school is this. The man that printed my waec o level result for me has a shop and operates in side the school environment. It actually happens the of clearance when the man that supposed to clear me told me i can not submit my secondary school notification of result, that i need to bring an online print out. Due to the fact that am working and i need to go back to that work I dropped my notification of result slip with the man to help me ready my result so i can come for my clearance the next day, this guy went ahead to edit a template to print my result in which all the grades are correct but instead of 39 he mistaken it for 49 i never noticed this until i got the letter. The guy that printed this result later flee due to the fact that he swindle some students and the school never find him till date or do anything about it.
That is where am going. 1. Why will the school approve a shop for someone without the person having a reliable source or referee that can find this guy. 2. Why won't the school reinstate me even when i was ask to produce my waec original in which i did and they crossed check to see that am not lying. 3. Why will they wait till i finish my academics before issuing out a letter of expulsion to me after i paid all my necessary dues. (That fraudulent)
Please i want you guys to advise me on this. Thank you Bros, the Nigerian system is too corrupt to afford you any justice in this issue (assuming you have any case to plead). I would advise that you find someone who knows your registrar (start with your parents/guardian/uncle/aunt/pastor). There must be someone you know who knows somebody who knows your registrar. A Sunday evening visit to his/her house will solve this matter. You have to discard any ego you have at the doorstep and be ready to moisten your mouth for a serious apology for being "rude and disrespectful" (whether you think you were or not does not matter at this juncture because you need a favor and you have everything to lose or gain). A full scale prostrating (if he/she is Yoruba - no offense meant) is not out of the question for you. Also, print out every authentic credential you have and carry along with you. Whoever is willing to accompany you to the registrar's house must know exactly the true story. So be ready to open up to that person before you make that trip. However, that trip will essentially be a trip necessary to appease the gods (yes oo; the registrar is the olodumare here). When I was about to graduate from the university, I had to appease a department secretary (like an okija shrine) before I was allowed to earn the grades I honestly labored for. It is a thin line between graduation and "your script is missing, so you are coming back next year". So, wear a cap of humility and beg your way out of this. Involving the lawyers will drain you of the financial resource you do not have. Besides you will not win in court |

Politics › Re: Arase Dismisses 50 Policemen For Corruption by Rhea: 3:44pm On Dec 18, 2015 |
Laredojohn: The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase has said the police under his leadership has fought corruption to the barest minimum, stating that the force has dismissed 50 police officers for corrupt practices and misconduct.
He stated that 56 others were sanctioned for various offences between May and November, 2015.
Arase, who stated this during the end of the year IG Conference at the Force Headquarters, Abuja on Thursday, explained that as part of efforts in ensuring peace in the North-East, 3000 personnel were deployed in the liberated areas.
He said, “Between May and November, 2015, the anti-corruption enforcement architecture emplaced by the Force leadership has led to the dismissal of a total of 50 personnel for proven corrupt practices while another 56 have been awarded various punishments.
“The IGP Monitoring Unit, X-Squad and the Provost Marshal have been charged to sustain the enforcement drive in the upcoming year while the policy of holding Commissioners of Police, Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers, vicariously liable for such distasteful professional misconduct will also be reinforced.”
Meanwhile, the IG has inaugurated a scholarship award for 301 children of personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty and for those who have excelled in their various duty posts.
Arase called on philanthropists and corporate organisations to support the foundation which he said would also cater for children of victims of police brutality.
He said, “The Force leadership will profoundly reward the families of serving police officers that keep faith with our vision for a professional, discipline, civil, loyal and incorruptible Police Force in a way that will motivate them for higher performance.
“It is also for our colleagues that paid the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. They shall not walk alone. We, as their commanders and colleagues, will do everything within our professional powers to keep their invaluable dreams alive and support the family they left behind.”
source : http://www.punchng.com/ig-dismisses-50-corrupt-policemen/ Only in Nigeria. You dismiss corrupt police officers so they can reorganize and join armed robbery gangs and terrorize the nation. Whatever happened to prosecuting offenders for corruption. Oh! I forgot. MrDavidson: Media mogul Raymond Dokpesi has been formally arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja on a six-count charge which includes money laundering.
Dokpesi, the Chairman of DAAR Communications, owners of African Independent Television, AIT and Raypower, was earlier invited and arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja, over money disbursed by the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
Shortly after he took his plea, Justice Gabriel Kolawole ordered that he be remanded in EFCC custody pending the hearing of his bail application by 12:30pm on Thursday.
The prosecution led by Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), accused the defendants of receiving, N2.1bn from the office of the National Security Adviser between October 2014 and March 19, 2015 for the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential media campaign in breach of provisions of the Public Procurement Act, Money laundering Act and the EFCC Act.
Justice Kolawole has fixed trial for February 17, 18 and March 2 and 3.

Family › Re: It Turns Me On Seeing My Wife Hurt, Sad Or In Pain by Rhea: 3:49am On Dec 10, 2015 |
Daily12: This might sound obscene to some people, as i do not intend to hurt anyone feelings but i seriously need help. I dont know if i can continue this or not. But i would be short and straight, and i hope you guys can help me. Please
- I married my wife 2 years ago and we were very young. Our parents kind of forced us into it. My dad said i must marry her so that he can cement his friendship and contract with her father. Her own Mum told her she must marry me so that the family business would continue and the name stands since its a joint venture. So, technically, our parents used us both for business! I was only 23 she was just 19 approaching 20. She was 20 the Sunday after our wedding. That is not really the problem here, the problem is I enjoy seeing my wife in pain! It turns me on when she cries or she is sad. It makes me feel closer to her.
And as a result of this, Sometimes i deliberately do things to hurt her feelings. I scold her at every opportunity! I pick a fault in her every action. I complain about everything. I even condemn whatever she does just so she can feel bad and possibly cry. That is my intention. It has become like a drug and i'm an addict. I cannot stay without it.
In fact, sex is not what i want even when we have sex i am aggressive and mean so she can feel excessive pain. It suppose to bother me but it doesn't, it makes me feel happy.
Long story short, I think i am not normal or maybe its a fetish i don;t know but whatever this is, my wife is at the receiving end of it and she is receiving the bad side. Please mature persons, i need your advice. Divorce is impossible, our parents would disown us. so that is why she is still around and i am not surprised she did not file for divorce or report my wicked actions. She is just "Swallowing It" because her father might just disown her or cut her off from his expenses. And same applies to me, i am starting to love her and i dont want to keep on hurting her and i was thinking of ending the marriage so she finds someone better but my mum said she must not hear it and i know my dad wont find it funny. So its impossible to separate from each other and its somehow impossible for the pain she is going through to stop because I am the pain, and i want to fix this.
Thank You all. Like some posters have already alluded, I admire your sincerity. but that is where the admiration ends. You are manifesting a deep hatred for your parents and the situation they forced you into by displacing it on your wife. It is actually called displacement in psychiatry, and is a coping mechanism. However, time don reach to rearrange your priorities. As a married man, you have a right to your life, unless you have mortgaged that for financial incentives. Be a man and face your father or whoever and let them know you are fed up with the marriage and ready to call it quits. If however, you believe you can find some love in your heart for your wife, then do that quickly before karma pays you a visit. Stop cooking up excuses for yourself. |

Romance › Re: My Boyfriend Is So Annoying!!! by Rhea: 3:21pm On Dec 08, 2015 |
promgurlP: Hi there fellow romancelanders, this is actually my first time writing here and I'm writing this out of frustration and anger. Well here it goes:
Today before my boyfriend left for work, he asked me to give him N2000 that when he gets back he'll give it back in the evening. But I told him I wanted to use the money for my personal use. He then asked me what I wanted to use the money for and I was like it's my money and I don't have to tell you. Initially he thought I was joking cos he asked me like three times but I gave him the same answer. He insulted me calling me a useless and selfish person, that I'm very inconsiderate and wicked. He said it's today he knows I'm a certified calabar witch and the kind of hatred he has for me is making him feel disgusted. At first I was laughing, thinking he was joking but when he said I'm not taking him seriously I knew this n.igga meant every word he had just said. And the worst part of it all, he went to complain to my elder sister that I'm refusing to give him the money and I know fully well that he is in need of it urgently. He collected the N2000 from my sister and left my house. I'm just sitting here wondering, so it's because of only 2k my boyfriend is behaving like this, why did he have to embarrass me like that in front of my sister by complaining to her and borrowing money form her too? I'm feeling so bad that I've chosen not to speak to him again, at least not this night. What do you all think, was I wrong? What should I do now? And you actually call him your boyfriend? Lives in your house, asks you for money, calls you Calabar witch, collect money from your sister (I bet he collects other things from here) My dear, wake up from your malaria-induced coma and smell the poopoo |
