Oritsejafor is a fucking hypocrite with a dead conscience and phoney piety. Several times when he was aked about the propriety of a supposed man of God accepting such an obscene gift, all he did was give an exaggerated tales of his busy schedule. It was so obvious that the man was trying so hard to paint an incredibly tight schedule whose problems can only be solved by the aquisition of a private aircraft. The man is so desperate to join the Jet-club to the point he resorted to telling lies and feigning ignorance of the identity of the alleged church members that bought him the aircraft. In haste to defend his vanity, he exposed his own moral failings and hypocrisy when he cluelessly lied that he did not know the identity of his benefactors. How can a supposed man of God not see the indecency in such claims? So any anonymous rogue from his congregation can offer him a billion dollars without any explanation of his source and his greedy conscience won't see anything wrong with such an obscinity. What brand of morality does he preach to his equally obscene congregation? |
General Garicks: This is highly demonic and people are here talking jargon.in a harsher sense, they are looneys. Now, does that make you happy? |
If anyone believes that claptrap that the Jet was given to him by members of his church then they will believe anything. Like seriously, where is the EFCC, ICPC and the SS to investigate this bare-face corruption stairing us all in the face. Aircrafts are not mere automobile cars that you can buy for a few million dollars and just hand it over to anyone according to how the "spirit leads". What exactly do the members that gave him the Jet do for a living? And the writer is wrong about the cost of the aircraft, there is no how you can own any jet liner no matter how small for a mere 5million dollars unless it is an ownership based sharing/leasing arrangement with another client. No wonder we are quick to indulge in corruption and use all manner of incogruent and dishonest logic to defend our position. If only some of you knew how expensive it is to maintain these wasteful ventures and ego boosting rides to nowhere. I have continued to ask the eeediots to explain to us how owning a private jet enhances the spread of the "so-called gospels??" how. . .how. . .how. . .how. . . How do you preach hope to a hungry man in the deppest parts of a village from the comfort of your private jets? How does he relate the bullshyte you spew with his own life? How come they don't fearlessly take their gospels to Saudi Arabia, Russia, Pakistan, Iran and these eastern countries that are yet to hear these gospel tales from the stables of a jet liner? They seem to be concentrating themselves in places like US, UK and the dumbest parts of Africa. . Lol. . No wonder Nigeria is so corrupt. |
I have noticed a trend with an average Nigerian person, their argument is always laden with unneccessary show of emotional outburst than conmon practical sense. See all these self-rigteous lots talking about him getting her pregnant even when he did not love her as if getting pregnant or having sex is a one way thing that requires only an alpha male to get it started. Whatever irresponsibility exposed by the pregnancy should be borne by both the man a woman, if the man did not use a condom, it is because she did not complain or allowed it. There was no element of force, it was an irresponsible decision taken by the two of them. Nobody should be exonerated from blame that she got pregnant. That is the cold hard fact people should come to terms with. Secondly, it is expected that so long as they continued to live together after the first pregnancy, he did not need to love her to want to have sex with her. We are all human beings with blood flowing in our veins and arteries, if I lived together with a woman whom it is assumed we are married, it is expected of us to 4ck eachother regardless of whether we are being sincere with our feelings for eachother. An average person does not 4ck for love, we 4ck to be cured off our libido i.e "congie". That should not be used as a basis to guage love, it is naive for anyone to say, "you did not love her, yet you went ahead to have a second child witjh her", only feeble minded people reason in such a petty manner. Mr Joseph is being true to himself, instead of engaging in hypocrisy-sleeping with sb else while putting up appearance as a responsible man at home and in the eyes of the insatiable media- he chose to do what was expedient for his family and himself. That is a real Man! A man that did not put himself or any one single person first but chose to put everyone's interest on the table before taking his decision is a man. I know an average Nigerian is not conversant with honesty and sacrifice, thet would rather he played to the gallery while he suffers inside. Una no well. .lol |
Shinatu: The poor ex-wife was the only one he could afford to sleep with then, she was the only one who would allow such a nobody to touch her, so he had to make do with what he could have, the ones he is 'falling inlove' with now would never have touched him with a long pole!wow, if that realy was the case, may be he is right, she truly did not deserve him. Now shut up and talk with the aid of common sense. |
lyricalpreacher: I don't think it is proper to pay instrumentalist or even pastors or anybody that renders services in church except on full time basis. I ws born in the apostolic church and we were taught how to play any instrument from age 10. In my set, we were abt 15 nd d church paid for our trainins. For every child dat grew up nd got baptized in our chapel, learnin @ least 1 instrument ws a must. So we had reservoir of instrumentalist for evry instrument. One person cld play on tue nd anoda on thur nd anoda on sunday dependin on who comes first to service. @ a point we had a time table for it. Of course nt evribodi perfected their trainin to a professional level but d seeds were bein planted. 10yrs later, some stopped playin nd only a few turned professional bekoz we dedicated more time to it. Currently, I'm worshipin with rccg nd ve been der for 4yrs nd I dnt collect a dime bkoz I knew hw I started. Freely I received nd freely I must give. A lot of d instrumentalist dat the apostolic church trained, are nw playin in oda churches so u cld say de lost their players buh de kip on producin more. Anytym I meet my oda professionals whom I grew up with bk then in apostolic, we r alwys grateful. Of course de dint lose all coz some r still with dem. De train their pastors, singers nd instrumentalists nd workers in d vineyard. I tink personally for me dat if diz new genaration churches by chance happen to reap frm d investments doz orthodox churches made in their teenagers it nt rilly bad buh de must learn to grow beyond dat nd ve a plan in place to build their own. If de invest in trainin 10 young talents in various instruments, wit tym de wld be able to play well though nt professionally nd if de chose to leave d church de shldnt count it as a lose coz another denomination wld gain frm it. Bottom line dnt pay any instrumentalist professional or nt. If u cnt use d amateur in ur midst then search urslf, coz somthng is wrong wit ur salvation.my dear you are talking bullshyte! Unless you have another job you do and are not commited to what you do, you can tell any professional Instrumentalist to play for you for free, not when he has bills to pay and a family to cater for. You wan compare the use of music in a church like RCCG to apostolic church that use a local setting and mediocre use of music instrumentality. Go and tell the likes of Buchi and Sammy Okposu to play for you free because it was given to you free, how old are you by the way cos you seem like a youngstar still comfortable with the foodstamps from parents. When you venture to be a man try doing it for free and lets see your level of commitment. Again, Pastors and even the so-called G,Os get have salary schemes with full benefits and allowances, some have access to loans and mortgages yet they do nothing more than a professional instrumentalist who has to be in every of the service, compose his music and spend most of his time both in the church and outside the church doing music for the church. And you dare open your ignorant mouth to say he does not deserve a well defined scheme of payments, allowances and compensation. You wan begin apply principle you wont apply to the pastors that get overpaid? Are you for real? What an irresponsible suggestion. Grow up kid! |
Wow this is realy sadening. However, the caption is a little misleading as what is happening to these two brothers is more of mental retrogression while the physical stage growth of their body remains as normal unlike in the movie where had the physical form of an aged man but still had the mental capabilities of his age. As he progressed in age, his physical form and mental abilities improved with it to the point of having a romantic side. These two brothers have some very serious and yes, Curious case of mental degeneration that is inoperable. Unfortunately, they can only get worse. This is realy sad. This is the point where I support euthanasian Laws to end this kind of intractable suffering. It might not be their decision to make, perhaps their parents. So sad. I hope their parents are able to console themselves with the fact that they are the best parents anyone can ever ask for. .e no easy |
DSB: Well, I was never in support of instrumentalists getting paid until i found myself in a 'tight situation'. I get paid 10% of what most instrumentalists are paid everywhere just for my car upkeep(gas) because i have got no other income source for now. The call it stipend...I feel ashamed anytime i receive a payment.who is this idiota ![]() |
Youngzedd: Don't compare ur self to pastor. No wonder many of you christian riff-raffs are poor. You lot don't know when to be serious in your dealings; you don't know when the difference between business and spirituality. The time value of money is lost on you and the teaming majority of simple-minded christian goons giving needless moral sermons with no common sense and practicability. So an instrumentalist will waste his time, money and energy to learn a skill only for him to render it to one religious collating centre in the name of doing it for God, BS! If both the junior and senior pastors and plus the so-called general overseer are being paid for talking, why will anyone object to the payment of instrumentalists that render a tangible service that is more real than the repititive BS the Pastor talks about. Are they not both aiming at thesame God? Why should one be paid and the other person gets a 4cking sermon. Do you leave in the real world? Instrumentalist have bills to pay too incase your spiritual mumbo-jumbo does not cover that. |
corruptst: Hi Nairalanders,You sound like a clueless kid with no real knowledge of how things work. Is the instrumentalist not rendering a service to the church? So when month end make im tell landlord say him dey work for God. . .lol. . The pastors themselves are working for who? But they get fat salaries, even the so-called founders are 4cking paid too. How are you? Na una brain na in oyedepo take dey fly jet |
ehie: my dear, everything that has a beginning has an end, friendship, love etc, that is the fact of life,I am surprised that you are a woman to be honest, cos your comment is deviod of unneccessary emotions and hard cols truth. It takes a lot to be in a marriage and the cohesion there is mutual love and happiness. |
Kobojunkie: I fail to see the dilemma here. Did your child come to you with a sign saying "RCCG creche or burst"?hahahahahahah. . .lol |
coldgate: HI NLDERS, I need your candid advice. My nine-month old son attends a creche run by the RCCG church which is only two blocks from my home. This is also where I worship. The Creche also has a tutorial class for afternoons. My 3 and half yr old daughter attends this after school. Now my grouse with the creche is that when my little boy started, the elderly pastor's wife who runs the creche also employed another woman to work at the creche. Recently, I noticed that whenever I go to the creche in the morning to drop my son (I work in a financial Institution on the Mainland and leave home at 7:45)the pastor's wife is no longer there. Instead, a young girl or at times, the pastor's ward dressed in school uniform is the one I meet at the creche. When I get to work, I try to call to find out if she is at the creche and she would reply that the she was there and the baby is fine. Now I have a strong suspicion that she leaves my child and others in the care of this young girl of about 15 yrs old. The other woman who used to work there no longer comes.I am seriously considering taking my son away from this creche because I am not satisfied with everything. Yet a part of me still clings on because THIS IS MY CHURCH. I guess I am just being sentimental. Pls, House, what do you advise? This is a serious matter that involves the lives of little childrien, take sentiment aside and do what is right. Women and their needless show of emotions when they should apply common sense. Are you waiting until there are awkward reports of abuse and stuff like that before you show the protective motherly instinct expected of you. How can you leave toddlers with a 15year old kid and be comfortable in your office, your pastor's wife is even worse off to the point of telling you lies yet you wont be practical about the possible outcomes of such a situation. If anything happens to those kids, it will be entirely your fault. The pastor's wife is prolly somewhere else making money for herself and decieving you all is well. .scheew! |
gossips: This is not about Nigerians but about how pple should relate to others in their words, actions, attitude, name it, whatever! Esp when loved ones are involved!ever heard the term "honestly blunt?" if everyone begins to tell you what they honestly think about you, you will learn to appreciate the bluntness of honesty and the truth. You all have obsessed yourselves with the feelings of his wife and kids, what about the man himself that has been the object of every angry divorced bitch's derision. Do you think he is not affected by the nonsense rumours that he left his wife who financially catered for him when he was a nobody, that he left her now that he was rich and famous, that he is ashamed of her because she is fat and all that mumbo-jumbo ppl kept spewing just to make a devil out him. You all would have been happy if he allowed those romours to congeal to become the truth, right? How is saying the reason I am divorcing her is because the relationship was not built on love to begin with? Is it a crime for a man to find love elsewhere and properly separate from his wife if that is what he wants? You guys should be balanced in your assessment abeg. . It is annoying to see all these petty-minded fellows- most of them divorced and unmarried females dating married men- come here to criticize a man that has done nothing but live his life the best way he sees it. |
Shollypopz: ^^It's late dude, I would respond tomorrow!Lol. . Now you are making conclusions for Nairalanders, so typical. Anyway, can you please stop painting suggestive scenerios. Where in the interview did he say he married his wife because he felt pity for her? You keep regurgitating that nonsense with ignorant confidence and assurance like you can directly point it without resorting to baseless assumptions of what you think he said. Geeez!! Is this paranoia or just plane dishonesty on your part. You so badly want it to be what he said or meant, na wa o. Whether you like to admit it or not, all relationships do not neccessarily need to end in marriage that is the fact. I don't know about you but I don't go into relationships with the confidence of intent for it to end in marriage, that is an ignorant, selfish and greedy way to look at relationships. No wonder people scheme to get the other person forcefully involved on their own intent and when shit happens, you start getting emotinal and shiiits. Well, if saying I love you is what it takes to get a woman pants off on my bed, I will be damned not to say it. Whether she ignorantly took it all off cos I said so is her own failings not mine. You seem to be the impracticable type that always want things on your term. You better watch out before the shiits hit the fan. |
gossips: Yea right! It "takes a lot of courage"to spit this sort of poo!wait until you get married before trash talking a responsible man. Have you read the rubbish ppl were writing and posting about him before he decided to let it out |
Shollypopz: ^^It's late dude, I would respond tomorrow!abeg go sleep, you need am cos you aint making any sense besides spilling needless emotions where common sense should prevail. |
ghettodreamz: That's his own headache..I wonder o. . Nigerians are self-righteous nitwits with dishonest opinions coloured by gender, tribe, race and so on. Their opinions are anything but honest, depending on who is involved. |
Shollypopz: You hv it all wrong. The guy is not being crucified cos he got a divorce but because of the reason he gave the media as the cause of his divorce. I was expecting u to be smarter seeing how fast u called errone here a m*oron. You act like marrying her was favor, he didn't hv to be marry her to be a responsible father to his child. He knew he had no love for her but chose to marry her out of pity which in the long run does her more harm than good. Now she has two sons for him and her age clock isn't playing nice either. He can later find a younger woman who will give him more children or he'll fall in love with but that wouldn't be so easy for the woman based on historyyou seem to know them personally or have it all figured out from the way you keep making unfounded suggestive statements. He is being crucified because he can't seem to force himself to continue to love a woman he has been making concerted efforts to fall in love with. Certain actions are taken not because they are right or wrong but because they are expedient for the situation. How best can a financially struggling man show responsibilty towards a child that suddenly came into the world without any prior plan if not by sticking it out with the woman especially since he can't afford to do so from out, that is where expediency comes in. If the situation is different now, i.e both of them can be responsible parents to the kids without neccessarily being married, why the noise and curses from unaffectef quarters? You keep commenting as if the woman has no say in the whole affair, is she a kid? Did she not notice it that he was not realy into her but was sticking it out with her cos of the child? What other reasons would have preferred that he gave? You prolly need for somebody to go wrong to justify the divorce? Are you angry that he was honest enough to admit it that he did not love her from the onset or that he is divorcing her, which one? You want reason, he gave it, what else do you want? Move on dear! |
Shollypopz: He wasn't when they got married, I thinknow he is, get used to it and stop bitching. |
bennygee: @ those of u condemning the guy,pls let him be cos u dont know wat he's been going thru in the hands of the woman.she does not neccessarily need to do any of those to him for the guy to feel unloved or want out of the marriage, yes! If he wss never in love with her before the marriage, it was only a matter of time before reality sets in. He was even patient enough to wait it out for eight years, some other people(both men and women) would have ended everything sooner. What is paramount in all of this is "mutual happiness and love", if it is not there, why torment yourself and the woman involed? He does not need anyone's approval to pursue happiness and real love. People should get that. |
babyface333: guy, your just so stu.pid as i can imagine. It is people like you that support evil.................SMHYou are a jobless twerp that needs to get a job and mind your own gaddamm bizness. Has his wife come to complain to you that Mr Joseph mistreated her and the kids? Go and talk about the irresponsible married goons in your family before sitting in judgement to condemn another man you barely know. The only evil here is the nonsense eeediots like you are spreading about the guy for following his heart. I don't see the wife rushing to anyone to complain, so why the bitterness? Abi is there more to it for you than meet the eyes? |
dammytosh: Fine boy, fat account, queens english, tall, black, handsome, flat tummy + 8 packs. bla bla bla.you dey mind them. Most of them want a perfect guy when they themselves are nothing close to perfectness. When things go wrong, they start blaming Mr perfect for revealing his own imperfections. . Scheews! |
Shollypopz: You shut the fvck up before I smack some sense into you!you obviously have got air in your head. Too bad the world does not work on your petty terms, shape up or ship out; those are the rules. |
Shollypopz: Telling us he married his wife because she was carrying his child is the same thing as marrying her out of pity. He said he didn't marry her out of love but for the sake of his unborn child. He married her because he was reasonable enough to consider the fact that she was pregnant. That he was responsible enough to consider her condition and the baby despite the fact that he may not have loved her does not mean he should remain miserable the rest of his life. People go into marriage for many reasons, some geniune, some forced into it and hoping it will work out. If it does not work out, what do you suggest that he should do? Kill himself? Abeg be realistic jare! |
Wunmi10: @ You all made good comments about this guy's issue and I agree with most of you. Am not surprised at all. This is not the first time I would hear or read about something like this. Something very similar happened to someone I know. The guy didn't divorce her. He built a new house and took 2 of the kids with him. He left the poor woman in the rented house with the last born child they had together. The poor baby was just a year plus. He simply packed out and told her he was leaving her and he didn't let her know he was building a house all the while... Infact, she didn't know where he moved to. The guy even collected the advanced payment he had made back from the landlord. He said he married her out of pity because she got pregnant back then. He said if it were not for the pregnancy she had, he wouldn't have married her. He said he was just dating her and wasn't intending to marry her. Can you imagine ??guy shut the hell up and get a real job! |
WTF is wrong with all these kids commonting like MORONS?? Where in the excerpt did he say he married his wife out of pity? Abi una just like to dey judge people based on the journalistic embelishment of Nigeria's cut and nail journalists that intentionally like to misinterprete. If they are both not happy in the marriage is it not best that he finds it somewhere else and have a working arrangement on how to manage both his ex and the childrien involved? So he should not come out and say anything when people were busy saying he got married to his wife when he was nothing, that the woman was from a wealthy home and helped him financially to where he is now. Some even said, he left her cos she had become fat, just ppl bullshitting and saying crap they don't know. One goon took it further and wrote a "God punish You" letter to the guy and made all sorts of allegations without proof. Hah, Nigerians sabi carry other people matter for head o, are people so sad that they try to ignore their own failings and worse personal problems only to mouth off about other people's private affairs. . Geeez!! You guys should get a job. |
joeydozzy: with all these findings by people round the word, myths which have been turned to facts by archeologists, ancient artifacts discovered, untold revelations experienced, even if the unexplained and unlogical way behind the true basis of how you breathe and wake up everyday, how can one say the bible and Jesus is fictitious?hahahahah. . . In fact, those are the basis of the conclusions that Jesus Christ did not exist and the stories about him are fictitious and mythological nothing real. The artifact, the historical findings and independent accounts from non-biblical sources have shown that the bible is a book filled with embelishment and fictitious exaggerations of mythological characters. |
yungboss: ''credit the OP'' i understand you better now.it's a pleasure to have helped. .lol |
yungboss: can you relate these statements and make common logic out of it? it's so easy to grasp..."sound like a nagging woman" was not hidden, but the next comment free from any form of antagonism was hidden, that's what i'm stressing here.it was a subtle introsuction to antagonize. You even have unwittingly confirmed the intents of your antics. May be you should credit the OP for finding you out. |
yungboss: for real bro, my post didn't even smell of such, no thoughts of such and i was not going combative at all...it's kindaof funny to me.Realy ![]() Like seriously man, were you having a bout of amnesia when you quoted one of my posts and cynically infered that "I nagged like a woman". . You prolly would have said "bless you" in response if you were in my shoes, right? |
Delafruita: no.the name is real.its a modification of "joshua" which means saviour.its estimated that during the times of herod and the periods after that,12% of all males bore the name yeshwa or various modifications of it.I think he meant to ask if the biblical Jesus, Son of Mary is fictitious. |
