Eko Ile: The challenge was you separate Atah's project from akpabio and I'll take it from there, not the other way around.

Start by listing akpabio's. I know you people can not and I'll I'm going to get is the same run around and dodging...
seriously guy, you are splitting hair and being unneccessarily petty. Now it is about separating Victor's work from Akpabio's. . .lol. .ok you sef separate Fashola's from Tinubu's. By the way, where did you get such a phoney population figure for Lagos; 20million peoplehuh Lol. . .guy don't confuse population densities of different parts of Lagos as the population of Lagos o. No be everywhere here dey that populated, besides, Lagos as a state is small, apparently you are not considering that. Nothing extra ordinary is happening here in Lagos, Fashola is trying no doubts but I doubt the quality of the work they are doing here, AK's roads are way better in terms of quality. Propagander won't spin this.

Eko Ile: I have no time to debate you back n forth, but I'll cut through the chase.

Let me just agree with you just for the heck of it. Your post doesn't change the fact that both states have similar budget figures and Lagos state is delivering several times more than akwa and if any of you feel like going at it, let's start listing state funded projects minus PPP. I'm 1000 sure you won't take me on and if you do, you'll give up after listing 5 projects.

Dare me if you can...
ok na. . . . You start listing the non-PPP projects of the Fashola governments, I am waiting, you have now been challenged. Oya start.
Politics › Re: Pictures Of Developments in Akwa Ibom State (uncommon Transformation) by rhymz(m): 6:21am On Jan 05, 2013
Eko Ile: Olodo, you people love to make noise about Lagos state's IGR. Well, it's 23 billion/month. So, 23 x 12. that's 260 billion while the total budget is 497 billion meaning Lagos IGR alone is less than Akwa's entire budget of 457 billion.

Add 7 billion in monthly allocation to lagos budget and you have 360 billion which is still far less than the entire budget of 497 billion meaning they have to borrow or look elsewhere for 137 billion to arrive at this years budget of 479 billion.

In Akwa's case, they don't have to go through much to arrive at their similar budget to lagos state's. IGR or no IGR, the money is siting right there on AKWA'S lap and still nothing much to show for all that easy money...

So my olodo friend, IGR is not all it's crack up to be, all the noise about LAGOS IGR is just nonsense, it amounts to nothing and they still have to maneuver here and there to formulate a decent budget.

Lagos state is the poorest state in Nigerian in terms of population and needs.
Guy, you are a dishonest tout! Did you say Lagos state gets 7billion naira as monthly allocation? Lagos gets 10billion naira not 7billion, Akwa Ibom gets about 20billion monthly and not the bloated figures you are churning outta your ignorant ass, your figures are grossly flawed and intentionally so. If one were to add up Lagos 10billion and its monthly IGR of 23billion, Akwa Ibom's 20billion naiara monthly allocation and its meagre IGR still will be at par with that of Lagos. Yet, one can comfortably say both Lagos and AKS have significant improvements but again, if the huge sums they get were to be compared to their development strides and how much these two states are indebted, it will pale into insignificance. AKS is even better in that regards as most of its project are funded solely by the state government unlike the Lagos state government whose projects are mostly PPP driven. Besides, many of the road projects in Lagos are mediocre despite the huge sums they quote as cost, na when rain fall na im we dey see the rubbish. So shut your hypocritical mouth up, Lagos and fashola are overrated, his strides are not in line with the huge sum they get every month, fact. Thesame goes for AKS.

Seriously mehn, I dey vex for this sharing formular o. Like seriously, I am begining to see some reasons with those northerners that oppose any move to further emburse oil producing states; there's is a thin line here between fair and just equitable distribution of funds and bare avarice, greed and unfair distribution especially when one considers the level of development in the Niger Delta area.
As I write, I am going through the summary of GROSS REVENUE ALLOCATION BY FEDERATION ACCOUNT ALLOCATION COMMITTEE FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 2011.
To be honest, the sharing formular is a little bit skewed, as much as I support the rehabitation and reparation of oil producing states especially the Niger Delta, I think it is wrong for anyone to further suggest that more allocations be given to these oil producing states especially if one considers that these monies have done little or nothing to address the issues that gave rise to them.
For instance, Bayelsa state with just 8 LGAs recieve about 12.6billion naira monthly yet Bayelsa state can't boast of any visible development.
No doubt, Akwa Ibom has got a facelift from Akpabio but the question is: at what cost? Akwa Ibom gets the highest share of the allocations, about 20billion naira monthly, yet there is NDDC,IGR, Security vote and so on, obviously, his achievments pales in the light of this revelation. 20billion naira monthly is enough to get into heavy projects that will realy affect the lives of akwa ibomites, not some superficial facelift. Thesame goes for Rivers state that gets about thesame amount monthly, PH is rife with bad roads that are getting worse by the day. Delta state is even more sadening, the state gets about 17billion monthly yet, Asaba can't even compare to Enugu that recieves about 4billion naira monthly. What the hell is going on? Even Lagos is not spared, Lagos state gets about 10billion Naira monthly allocation and makes about 20billion naira from IGR yet their debt profile is astronomically high, what exactly are they doing with the huge sums they get monthly? Lagos is even more annoying cos many of the constructions going on are maintenace and rehabilitation, where there is a complete construction, it is usually a Public-private partnership, so where is the money going to?? Mehn na wa o.
Politics › Re: Oluremi Tinubu For Governor (Lagos State) by rhymz(m): 3:42pm On Jan 04, 2013
why do some posters find it hard to admit that Tinubu is a liability to ACN?
As long as the man continues be the numero uno of the party, he will continue to be the sole crown maker of the ACN irrespective of whether it runs contrary to democratic tenets or not. If tomorroe his wife, Oluremi begins to show keen interest in Lagos being Lagos state governor, trust me, the flaws in the ACN party system will rear its head again and reveal itself.

All I can say is this, May-D is an EEEEdiot that got carried away by a mere feature and probably concluded that he had gotten enough attention to the point of wanting to do it alone.
He seem like a fellow in a rush to be like his masters without considering how far they have come and how far he is going. Nicca got too big for his britches.
As far as being business savvy is concerned nicca failed big time, he relied on sheer brawn where he should have used finesse and tact.
Foolish boy knew very well the business implication of his rancous break-up with Squared records and still went on pretentiously to accept a paid offer to sing in their own song. What a thief, wants to reap where he refused to sow.

Moreover, it all depend on the company you work for because their are different piping software.
yeah you are right but the concentration on PDMS is because that is majorly the piping software most oil and gas company use, I know for a fact that shell for instance uses Autoplant but they seem to be the only "oyel" company that visibly uses autoplant in place of Aveva PDMS, the rest of them use majorly PDMS.
Family › Re: Unbelievable - My Mother Asked My Woman To Leave by rhymz(m): 4:46pm On Jan 01, 2013
OP is not telling us the whole story; OP seems to be lovestruck and not assessing the situation well.
For your mother to degenerate to the point of singing "trouble songs" and your wife still being calm about it, it goes beyond mere disagreements and dislike. There is something fundamentally wrong with the onset of the mother-daughter inlaw relationship even before she became your wife. Did your mother actually consented to your marriage or expressed some very obvious reservations that you damned regardless and went ahead to marry. If she did actually notice reservations on your mother's part towards your intended wife, you should have known better than to let her still come in and live with you and your wife. If she did'nt, then what kind of person can you honestly say your mother is, is she the perfect control freak that likes to show authority even when there's no one competing with her, did you consider that your mum can be petty-minded before letting her come in.
Seriously, if you knew your mother's nature and can honestly tell yourself the truth, then you can conclude whether it will be a good idea have her as a live-in competitor with your wife for your love and attention.
What about your wife, can you honestly conclude and say that your wife respects your mother and has always seen her as her own mother prio to your marriage. Yes, there are a lot of woment that will love their husband and hate their parents even before they get to know them. Your wife can be calm and all that but what if such demeanor is the type that scorns and deride, have you considered that your mother may have been feeling scorned and slighted by her taciturnity? What if her feelings are right? What if your wife naturally does not like your mother and expresses it through her mocking silence and scornful calmness. If you have not considered all these then may be you should start now. Don't be in haste to tell off your mother or send her packing, if you are going to do that, you need to have concrete proof of who is doing what. Most times when men are in love, they seem blind to faults and flaws mothers, fathers, and other relatives so glaringly see. Be wise.

Guy, While I am still in ecstacy about the new year, it wont stop me from rubbishing your lies.
I have checked the link, it looks all too familiar, it's source is obviously thesame wikipaedia.
I understand that in thesame 2007 where Anambra is recorded to have less per capital than OYO, this same report was credited to the Minister of Commerce and Industry:
(Daily Trust/All Africa Global
Media via COMTEX) -- Minister of
Commerce and Industry Engr. Charles
Ugwu has disclosed that Anambra state
has the highest GDP among the states of
the federation with over $ US 2,500; much higher than Nigeria's GDP per capital
which is put at $US 1,150. Engr. Ugwu who was speaking on Tuesday
in Abuja when the Governor of Anambra
State, Chief Peter Obi paid him a courtesy
visit in his office attributed the feat to
"complete dominance of redistributive
trade." He said commerce is the mainstay in
Anambra and there are new vistas in the
areas of commerce and industry which
the governor" …
So where is the minister getting his own figures- thesame government agencies that say Anambra GDP per head is less than that of Oyo? I dey laugh!
Not long after that report, there came another report from another Government agency, National Coordinator of National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP):
"Anambra poverty rate lowest in Nigeria NAPEP Published on 19 November 2010 with 0 comments [Post a Comment] ACHILLEUS-CHUD UCHEGBU (Abuja Bureau Chief) National Coordinator of National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP), Dr. Magnus Kpakol, has rated Anambra state high as the state with the lowest poverty rate among all the states in the country. Kpakol, who said this in an exclusive interview with Daily Champion in Abuja, noted that the level of private enterprise in Anambra put the state on the top echelon of the ladder of efforts by states to eradicate poverty. He said though Bayelsa state is thought to have the lowest poverty rate in the country, statistics have shown that Anambra is actually topping the ladder.
Statistically, we rank Bayelsa state as having the lowest poverty rate in the country. But in its purest sense, Anambra state has the lowest poverty rate in the country and that is because of the level of private enterprise and commitment to private enterprise there, he said.
Yet according to your wiki statistics and the other bureau site that obviously copied their info from thesame site, Oyo state has lower poverty rate than Anambra and so on, is it not obvious all these nonsense are not accurate?
By the way, jumping over higher PPP is lame, PPP has more to do with pricing than the size of GDP and income.
Again, OYO state has nothing it can tell a state like Anambra, be it in commerce, infrastructure, investment and industries.

You can see the position of Oyo in top 4. The highest state without Oil or a Federal Capital while Anambra is languishing below Osun, Ondo and benue
DayoKanu you should be more intelligent than this. You want to argue about states' GDP based on the nonsensical and partisan list posted by some anonymous Dude prolly from the southwest or even Oyo State.
The claims of the list are very laughable and unworthy of any serious intellectual analysis.
What was their criteria and what data were available to them to come to such conclusions that does not reflect the reality on ground.

Most of what Oyo state boasts of today are redundant investments with little or no life at all. To get it, all you need to do is go to google and write: h33t.com: AVEVA PDMS 12.0 sp6, it will open up easy links on h33t.com site that will download it for you. Make sure you have a torrent manager, preferably utorrent.

There is no Aveva PDMS 12.6 unless you mean 12.0 sp6.

The President of Nigeria (A very Religious Country) attends a big religious event, willingly knelt down on the alter of God and his people prayed for him.

My opinion = No wahala

General Opinion = Blah Blah Blah

My point: (Religious) - No man is bigger than God (If he admits there is one).

(Political) - Men like Pastor Adeboye can't be ignored, why? What is the population of R.C.C.G. Also, you may not realize it but people like this have significant roles to play in preventing a Religious War in Nigeria.

Conclusion: Jonathan is human, what you make of the situation is simply your perception. not Right and yet not wrong.
Guy you sound like a confused waka about commentator.Men like Adebayo can't be ignored, realy? Because? Even the Pope whose words and influence have far more ripples beyond the vatican than 20 Adeboye can ever do, can be ignored and the world will still continue to revolve about its axis.
And try to understand issues before commenting with an utter disconnect from the main issue being discussed. Mr Bankole the Chicken little actually raised some very obvious issues that RCCG sheeples have been too mentally numb to notice or better still have the courage to tell the AGO abi na diesel Baba una dey call am to be careful with the way he fraternizes with these politicians and their well rehearsed and fabricated piety and public show of being religious to garner public sympathy based on religious affiliation rather than his actual actions and deeds.
Your daddy GO is too caught up and mesmerized in the euphoric bliz of having the president kneel before him that he forgets that the whole act is rehearsed, and Mr president like a Good actor that he is, is sticking to the script while he the Daddy supernatural is skipping scenes.
Bankole's outburst only served as a reminder to daddy GO that he is playing out of script, Jonathan is not stoopid you know? He likened the congress to a campaign opportunity, did everything he needed to do and got that slot and did actually campaign. Funny enough, Daddy almighty and GEJ has one thing in common, they are both actors who act like they are not interested in the power game but are so interested in it that they are ready to do anything, be anything, associate with anyone and ignore the unfavourable implications of their actions and silent power moves.
