bidexiii: I pray this service chiefs put these funds into good use, because anything supplementary is not properly accounted for. Good talk. The Nigerian Army may be buying a lot of the shelf. This is a recipe for disaster. Only works best. Off the shelf might mean pre owned (2nd hand) or very expensive with a lot of corruption |

kabe1: Nigerian Air Force is getting $600 million not $1 billion.
Unsurprisingly as the are by far the most effective branch of the military.
I agree that the remaining 7 MI-35M helicopters would be gotten.
I think more JF-17s and at least 2 additional MI-17 helicopters would be purchased.
Nigeria would not buy M346FA with this money as we really don't have a pressing requirement for that aircraft at this stage.
Nigeria might continue to buy aircrafts in 3's and 4's as we consider infrastructural development to be more important than military spending.
There won't be a wholesale investment in the military at the expense of infrastructure. Alpha Jet replacement has always been on the NAF long term plan. That was what informed my view. I believe only M346 meets that trainer/CAS requirement along with existing relationship with the OEM. Note that an initial order for just 6nos of M346 is just about $200m Procurements in 3s and 4s tend to be second hand/pre-owned stuff or hand-me-downs. |

LTGEN: The NASS has approved the supplementary Budget of which $1.7 B will be used for procurement. Does anyone have any tidbits on what the FGN plans on procuring? The Nigerian Airforce got $1b. So it is essentially NAF budget. I guess at least 6 MI 35M, possibly the rumored new M346FA, maybe six more JF17. Lots of UAVs. The NAF has never been comprehensively financed like this since Nigeria became an independent Republic. Interestinhly, most aircraft manufacturers are now asking for 100% upfront payment so we are not going to be seeing procurements in 3s and 4s any longer. We would be buying in squadrons. |

Even a child born today knows Ghana is one country in Africa that has done admirably well on many fronts, including having one of the most potent security forces on the continent. Yet you nigerians delight in talking rubbish.
I don’t even know where most of you get your information from. And they talk as if they are authority on military matters meanwhile, they don’t know jack. They sit in one corner in Ojuelegba or Okokomaiko and spew total garbage Ghana's record in S.Leone / Liberia was disgraceful. Very high fence, since the terrorists ruling us have refused to divide nigeria or fight terrorism Dunce. How does dividing Nigeria help you. If you divide Nigeria today, Boko Haram will conquer SE in one week. I am not being disrespectful. Just very blunt raw truth. They don't need sophisticated weapons. Just sacrifice and zeal. I hear a lot of this nonsense from young inexperienced idiots not given to deep thought. Do you know what a solid Nigeria is wedging in terms of evil forces?. You think these matters are trading or business? Nigeria's defence and security establishment needs to do more but we should not deceive ourselves that weak Republics standing against global terrorists would last even up to six months. Illumined939: It's a case of giving a dog a bad name to hang it. Nigeria security rogues are known for lies and cheap blackmail.
Well, Biafran volunteer forces are intensifying their training within and outside various training camps in Nigeria. This Nigeria must be brought to an end, even if it requires blood. Those missiles we've mass produced will be brought to the fire.
I'm happy that the average Yoruba person is being radicalized by the injustices of the Fulani.
In months from now, this Nigeria will experience its worst nightmare.
That they arrested the blessed Nnamd Kanu does nothing to stopping Biafra. If anything, it has made our fighters more determined, aggressive, and radicalized. The most important figures in our struggle are the sector commanders and the volunteer soldiers. These are the ones who will carry out the mayhem. Kanu can only talk, he isn't capable of using bombs and guns. Bombs most especially will ring out loud this time.
From intelligence reports I'm receiving, bombs would be the major weapons, not really guns. Una go soon hear the scores. So, when you start hearing bombs ringing out loud in your Airports, oil tank farms and strategic economic infrastructures, you know shit is real. I will soon deactivate anyways, before military intelligence asks Nairaland for my info. And I know nairaland will give my info out. Well, I used fake emails, and you can't even find me , as I'm in Southern Cameroon.
And for the politicians planning for 2023 elections, there will be no elections. If things go accordingly, Somalia of today will be better than Nigeria. Buhari did alot to get us angry.
Lastly, I heard Dangote owns a refinery. Can it be bombed, we will see. The oil assets of the fulani oligarchies will be given enough attention. Fulani bastards with no drop of oil on their soil, but own oil assets, the people with oil on their land can only dream of. Ole boy. Take it easy o. This your emotions will give you hypertension and you will die for nothing. Your fantasies are however interesting. You actually thought all this up. Good. |

Salatavor: We don't want rank and file of bandits getting killed, we want their leaders, we want their sponsors, we want their accountants we want the main people. That's the only way you can justify the huge amount of resources been expended on this war.
Killing an incited illiterate who does not know what he is fighting for is not victory, killing the man that gave him a gun to go fight other innocent men, that one is true victory. smh |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by RiceProducers: 2:02pm On Jul 02, 2021 |
Salatavor: True, but he is in possession of a stockpile of weapons that could be used against the government. If they have reasonable intelligence that any entity is stockpiling weapons against the government it is reasonable to act, you don't wait till the incompetent service men start losing their lives before you act.
The main question is when will they start arresting Fulani Bandit leaders? Fulani bandits that are being bombed from the air?. There are pictures and videos from everywhere including soldiers killing bandits daily. You guys lie too much in Nigeria because of emotions. Even on this thread there are tens of photos of ongoing operations against bandits but you just had to throw in this lie |
