What is the use of CCTV cameras without anyone watching it and making sure something like this doesn't go unpunished...

When U employ workers as a business owner or a department store owner, also employ individuals whose duties is strictly to watch the monitor of the Camera at the back of the office... So that if something like this happened, u make a quick call to apprehend the person immediately.. not circulating images on line..

lol. Going to orphanage will required alot of money for all of that. I would have love to but unfortunately....
I'm just trying to wrap my head around how donating your time for three hours would be expensive...Look, u can tell those managing the facility that you are a student or that you were unemployed but you want to celebrate your special day with those children...

U can help the chefs by chopping up vegetable, sweep floors, read for the kids...it is voluntary... anything just to keep the kids happy and comfortable... it doesn't cost anything but your time...Anyways I guess it's not everyone that is cut out for that kind of thing.. let me not impose something that you are not comfortable doing...

I might not understand though why it was expensive but it's your day, do what will make u happy on that day... it is compulsory smiley

Very important toilet practice that people overlook:

1. The toilet bowl should always be closed.

2. You should always flush the bowl before opening the lid. This may not necessarily flush the reptiles away, but it will splash and dangle while the water is gushing on it. That is enough for you to suspect something inside.

Also hygienically, you won't get to see someone else poo or wee just in case the person forgets to flush after his/her business.

3. And when you are done with your business, remember to flush the bowl and close the lid.

I so much hate it when toilet lids are not closed.
Some snakes can make their way right from the rooftop into an open vent pipes and find itself at the toilet base.. it is not always the lid matters.. it's just a common occurrence in Australia..

Different reports where?

Being westernised?

The dark ages of Europeans over 500 years ago was the era where belief in witchcraft/ demons/witches was rife and women were killed for witchcraft allegations.
You think you're being 'African' but you're actually reasoning like a medieval European.

Your reasoning is not your own. The colonisers taught you well.

And why would anybody approach a person they think is a witch to give a wrapper?

Remember the 2 year old boy left naked and starving? It took a European to give him clothing and attention.
U have time to reply... It's sad that an individual that needed help cannot have it because of superstitious believe...

Logically, if she was a witch, who amongst them there has the supernatural powers to strip her off
her power that she can't wait to fly away again?

If she was a witch, Would they have survived her anger there considering what she may have been hearing them say about her and the way they turned her to a public spectacle... It's unfortunate that common sense is not common..

NPTJ:
How would he know if army was his calling? How would i know if custom is my calling? You can give advice, but claiming if something is one's calling is what i find somewhat difficult to grasp

If you ain't a witch or a seer. You definitely won't know which profession is your calling. We are all running helter scatter to be responsible and be a better person
Every one on this planet basically has something he/ she enjoys doing and it comes effortlessly...
For example...
>>> Some people like talking, entertaining and Enjoys listening to radio or shows...If u were a career advisor, where would u advice such person to channel that energy to?

>>> When U discovered that someone likes helping out a lot planning, organising, very good with people, in your opinion,if u were asked to advise the person, what will u say?

>>Someone who is gifted in terms of fixing things, Who knows little minor details that any one can just over look... Even as a kid he knows that it was not stressful fixing certain things..be it plumbing, building, electronics etc.. what will u say to that person?

>>Remember having passion in doing what u enjoy as a career and getting paid for it is different from picking up a career for monetary reasons...

In OP's case..
>>Is he compassionate and passionate about his country enough to die for it?
>>Is he ready to forsake his family for Nigeria and protect its territory?
>> Is he a peace maker?
>> Does he dislike injustice?
If the above few mentioned were Yes, then the country is calling and he need to answer..

But if it was because he doesn't want to stay for long looking for a job, or his friends was on it, or he was fit tall and athletic to be in the army, then...

Ok, this is an Uncle's advice, If army is your calling please go for it... But if it wasn't and U just want to make it as a career, please don't do that to your parents...

It is good to die for one's country but die for a country that will appreciate it.. Obviously Nigeria is not a country worth dying for...

The politicians, their kids are littered all over Europe and America and u want to be a sacrificial lamb?..

Not trying to stop u..after all is said and done, the final decision is yours to make.

>>your windows were not close to a tree and that u have a flies screen AKA mosquito net..

>>>Close your door all the times.. sometimes there are some gap at the doors, use some rags to cover it.

But it's not the same case with some Nigerian organization that derives joy on attaching unnecessary hidden fee...instead of letting people know beforehand
