How many Nigerian business owners pay taxes?

How many Nigerian look for means to avoid paying for their electric bill?

How many Nigerians avoid road tax and other taxes?

So please don't go there.
In other words, what u were implying is all the good and services consumed by Nigerian citizens, there are no VAT on it is that correct?

Why do people always like blaming. There are parts of Lagos where the roads are fantastic and guess what, these roads are built by the residents and locals. If you want something done then do it yourself.
Just curious, do you know some of the reason people pay taxes? Just yes or no answer will be just fine...

Calabar speak Efik language.

Efik, Ibiobio and Idoma aren't really difficult but because there are few people that speak these languages, we don't get used to them and thus appear difficult. Hausa and Yoruba apear to be easier because;

1) We meet many speakers of these languages in our daily lives.

2) There are the languages of commerce and entertainment for many people.

3) Many non-indigenes live amongst themselves and these non-indigenes somehow pick up these languages.
I understand what u were trying to say.. but trust me,I tried the Idoma, but it didn't work.. Also u can agree with me that Efik is a really really fast spoken language... One can't pick any word up while listening to the speakers except if the person was born a genius

Family › Re: Why U should Allow The Older Child Beat The Younger Child... by Richy4(m): 10:04am On Nov 17, 2021
Truvelisback:
Give ur reasons. I give my points based on experience. Many parents especially mothers, do make their younger ones to respect their older brother or sister by over-pampering and defending them, giving them the effontery to dare their older ones in exchange of words, quarrel or a fight.

Violence has never solved any thing... Parents train children nowadays with hope that the world is now a global village... There are chances that your children might find themselves in another country where there are zero tolerance of violence...
Do u know what that might do to them if they should grow up and found themselves in such situations? They might go to jail for violent behaviour due to something that should have been avoided from the beginning...

kids learn from their home and environment.. and whatsoever they learn, that will be with them for a long time... If violence were a way to go at home, when they grow and starts their own family, There's a tendency for it to continue.. and it will be passed to generations..

Lies!

Ask around from other language ethnicities, they will confirm that Igbo is easier than most.

The Igbo language is so easy you can start picking up words on the first day of hearing them.

Have you heard Gokana and Ogoni speak their language?
smiley Igbo is not really easy to learn... reason being that there are so many dialects in it...
The learner might get confused if an Anambra individual for example tried to teach him/her the language and he/she goes out to practice what he has learnt with Owerri, Ebonyi or even Enugu individual... The confusion of the learner might be epic grin

<<<I am not an expert in matters like this but in my humble opinion, I will suggest that you Meet whoever that is incharge of the church, let them delegate some of the responsibilities to others.. U were feeling the exact way Moses was feeling before God asked him to appoint 70 elders to help him see the affairs of the Israelites..

<<<Also, It feels really good to worship with the people of the same faith because iron sharpens iron... But sometimes when U were not up to it, u give yourself a break... It doesn't feel right when U feel that there's nothing else to learn in church..it doesn't look right anytime attending church service feels like a chore... Immediately that feeling starts, it shows that u needed a bit of a break... Some minister(pastors) do take leave of absence too in their ministry..

<<<As for praying, it happens to many of us... but Please do not let that fire in u to die down ok.. Prayer is communication... If U have nothing to say to the man upstairs, just say the grace and sleep... Don't feel bad u are just human..

True, Phyno did them well. But what is this obsession with being the centre of attraction on your wedding day really about? Is it really necessary at the end of the day?
I guess it was every woman's wish to be the centre of attraction/ attention on their wedding day.. many have been planning that since they were kids though grin
Number of bridal train, colour of wedding dress, height of their husband to be, dark, tall, handsome with perfect teeth cheesy Above all rich and God fearing.. So it's a trophy to showcase on that day grin

When speaking about money, maybe u should quote the price of gas as well as the litre of kerosene u proposed to buy every month, that might help people to advise u better...

That celebrity gave the couple a memorable gift by performing for them in my opinion..

You can take upper control by doing some of those things yourself... Clean the bath room yourself to avoid embarrassment because it is your home... if asked why u were cleaning, tell them that your sister inlaw is on transit that this was not her home. it is yours..
Warn her seriously that this was your matrimonial room.... that she should knock before entering...
Serve her little portion of food next time... if she needs more, she can ask for more... This is just a little matter that could be corrected...If she does not contribute financially, I don't see why she should waste your food though...
