It has been preached a lot in rich cities but the places where people don't put on clothes around the world, I doubt..

Talk in front of the mirror.... Tell address your self there and tell yourself that it is time to come out of my comfort zone.

Does things you don't like doing, it's time to start doing it... I know one of them is not attending weddings.. 2 if u were a Christian after the church u immediately disappear.no pleasantries to anyone what soever.. so get involved join a group there..

As for the correlation between a prospective spouse and money matters, water finds it'a level sorry to say that. You can earn little and start looking for a high maintenance lady. Most times it ends with heartache. U will be alright. But remember to bring the wedding invite here when the time comes

Op My brother!!... OP My brother!!... OP my brother!! How many times did I call u?

If u like, check my post here on family section, I am not a member of Nairaland home wreckers Association... But there are serious issues u took lightly in your home that I felt I should let u know.

Your wife indirectly implied that you were a pedophile and u let is slide easily..

Every reasonable proud and innocent man would/should have hit the roof in anger while addressing the issue inside your bedroom where the kids won't hear.. Do u know what that means? Let me spell it to u.. it means that you don't have self control where kids where involved, You can't be trusted alone with a little girl, any female under aged putting on skirts that moves under the planet is OK by u..in fact I can go on and on based on what that implies..

How can your wife have such a big twisted heart? She has a gutter mindset sorry to point it out and u have to address it... even if you give your niece money to buy it herself and she knew about it, her wonderful mind will still think what she was thinking without u addressing this urgently..

I don't know what may have happened in your yrs of marriage but have u ever given her a reason to doubt your fidelity previously? How can her mind work like that?

He committed the fallacy of hasty generalisation. I personally know one Nairalander here who does giveaways because the fellow is pained by the level of poverty in the land. This person has also done massive giveaways in their hometown, so saying ALL those who do giveaways are cloutchasers is very unfair.

It will be interesting to know what he has done for his own relatives and village people since he is not chasing clout like the rest.
I know what you are talking about my sister. That was why I wanted to let him know that there are people who gives without publicly declaring it.... the types that doesn't give in front of the camera.

Public giveaway is nothing but scam to reasonable people who understands the concept of generosity and helping.

There's always a hidden motive behind anyone who does giveaway publicly. Quote me anywhere.

It's either for clout, to buy love, to buy loyalty, to gain favors from some persons within or a business strategy.

Behind everyone doing giveaway, there's this a friend on his/her contact list who's desperately in need of help. There's this family member, either from the mother's side or father's side who's in need and perishing looking for help.

But NO! They'll not help those needy family members, but will prefer to come to the public, chase clout with the less privileged and snap pictures or go to social media, chase clout, buy fake love to look generous.

Whatever is it, this woman experienced. I don't care, because if everyone should focus on their family members, maternal cousins and paternal siblings, there won't be needy people in the public for these clout chasers to use.

People should say no to fake public accolades from strangers who truly doesn't give a fvck about their existence and and focus on people in their family tree and people around them. They'll appreciate the more.
Your statement is like painting everyone with the same brush and it's not good. In as much as there are 'social media fake givers" I still believe that there are genuine people that gives secretly that u and I don't know; people with no intentions to be praised or anything just from their hearts.

Generalising what you have said makes it look stereotypical and its not fair on those few or more that gives with good intentions..

Everyone knows the state of facilities in Nigeria and Nigerian attitudes towards patients

First what was the state of the facility or the isolation centre? What's the attitude of the staffs of the said facilities? Are they being treated like the proverbial lepers.. Before someone decides to run away, especially when he needed to be cured, there's more to this..

You are right but do they allow Nigerians to write their marital vows?

If the clause of better or worse is included in one's marital vow then, they should try and abide by it.. if they don't need it, they should change it
Family › Re: My Fellow Married Women And Mothers, How Do You Deal With A Husband Like Mine? by Richy4(m):
I just wanna approach this issue here based on financial angle.. Assuming the financial aspects of the family was planned very well, including the kids the family required, every other issues would have worked itself out...

Try and start up a family budget.. Something that is reasonable and reliable but can be executed and followed each month .. Just see how that goes... Cut unnecessary expenditures if u can..

As for u and your husband's problems , every marriage got their own version of issues.. find a common ground to resolve it if u can.. but if u can't, take a walk... Some people are responsible for peace in their home.. Some couples who can't take either that kinda responsibilities or that couldn't take or endure it goes to igando customary court(my nairaland favourite court because of the weird cases there )

But if u wanna try, as in u want a fresh start after the lock down, start with financial responsibilities.. Both of u should sit as a team and decide who manages fund/money better. FYI, this got nothing to do with gender.. if he managed better than u, give him 88% of your salary and save up the rest.

Apart from his ego problem, he is trying for the family in terms of paying rent and the children's school fees. That to me is a plus. We can't rule that off as if it was not an effort.. So if he asked you to contribute your own quota for food, I don't think that he was wrong. Besides, it's a union between a man and wife not one sided.. sit and financially plan your family..

I have felt emotional but not cry..

I went on YouTube one time, found an old school Christian video song 'I pledge allegiance to the lamb'..

I felt kind of weird and sorry for the little boy whose dad was gonna be killed for preaching.. especially when the dad was telling him to take care of him mum.. since then, I have never gone back to that video.. I don't wanna get mushy- mushy over nothing.

I might be wrong but I'm guessing that It could be cabin fever.. She might have been a bit irritated about what's been going on.. no movement, nothing that excites her, she was being caged at home by the Government... on top of that she has to deal with u and your needs... it could have been hard on her.. And it is hard on a lot of people but they cannot say it aloud to their spouse just the way your wife said it..

You know when they are advertising drugs and they say things like after 3 days and the symptoms persists, consult your doctor.. After the lock down and the symptoms persists, then you have to find out what's cooking... for now don't take her words for it man.. everyone is on edge.. angry and annoyed..

Bros, we need to stop having these mentality. Did you pay for for all the software packages you have on your laptop? The windows Os on it. Even if you are using a mac, you will still be looking for sites to download free software packages. Not saying the practice is okay. I am just saying you shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house.

Nigerians too like to ask for payment for everything even something wey dem learn for free. Open Source communities are scarce to find in Nigeria.
I am replying because u sound a bit sensible. If not, I would have ignored it just the way I ignored the other guy.

This is about money and investment. You don't just sort the advice of unqualified people to give you ideas on what to do just like that .

Any financial advisor u sort out online for free, check it carefully, he or she must have placed a disclaimer. Meaning that u can't sue him/her for misrepresentation because u did not request for information / advice directly from him..
he/she owe you no duty of care recognized by law, there's no reason for relying on the advice hence, They are not liable for whatever misfortune suffered as a result of relying on their advice. But freeloaders will never understand this..The Medical advise people takes online were at their own risk. go and figure it out..

I am surprised that most of you that types in good English nicely can't do/ make a proper comparisons.. u are equating financial matters with free software.. the other was even comparing an investment with studying English online.. hmm!!!

That's kinda Stereotypical nonsense to say buddy. The fact that she came from a particular region doesn't mean that she must be like that. U even said MAYBE she did go extra mile.. meaning that you were not sure if she was like that or not..

Why not just go to our dear friend called Google. That wonderful oracle will help you revive the decline in your sex lives... It's just a click on a button.. it will answer your questions and how to go about it.

Amen to your prayers man.. But I still want to let you know that there's nothing like a big guy when the heart is being fractured psychological and emotionally.

What most of us do was to bottle it up.. and according to research, it's not the best way to handle it. Some times, if u can't afford a therapist, u make good male/ female friends (not for sex in terms of female ) that can hear u talk about certain things, vent your anger and clear your heart to let clean fresh air in.

I wish you the very best buddy.

Why is CNN, BBC, Aljazeera, etc not reporting this breakthrough already? Because it is Madagascar, a small African nation.

Big congrats to Madagascar
Maybe because it wasn't scientifically proved.. They didn't spend time in the lab to know the side effects the medicine got.. and you know that they are very particular about what they consume..

Hmm!!! My question is not even on the dead... but based on the living.... how would the pupils cope with the learning if there was an epileptic power supply in the state? .. or has the energy sector promised constant power supply throughout the lock down?

Online studying might not be cheap, was there an avenue where this kids would be given some incentives to purchase data for the learning programme? Countries that advised on online programme knows that their students can afford it. Can everyone studying in that state afford it?

I have to say that the gift of vision is a cool one..
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Secondly, the fact that you saw her in your vision does not mean she's perfect.. meaning she might be the one you saw as an ideal wife in your vision but in real life situation, is she?

Maybe it's about time you come down to reality and start sorting things out like a lot of us mortals and not like special beings. Sit her down and have one on one chat.
