Laziness has finished me already. I am no longer physically fit. I really have to discipline myself. Planning my time is the challenge. Also, my office work is extremely tiring these days. Just gotta find a way to balance work and exercise. Thanks bro
You have to do it..U don't have to break the bank to be fit or going to the gym (though that is nice) but squeeze out 30mins. Every day, u will notice the changes..good luck bro

110? Woww... Not sure I can do 10 conveniently.. lol grin
It's really determination my bro. When you discovered that at some point in your life, U can't tye your shoelaces without it looking like a chore. Or something fell on the floor instead of stooping to pick it up, u kneel down to do it, that's when you know that there is a problem. I wasn't fat.. but I was not skinny either but laziness did a number on me. So I decided to take the matter serious.

I know my dear. Those days I can do about anything in sports but push up..
It scares the sh!t out of me.. when I was living in boarding school, my mates when they want to flex their muscle to show off by doing push up, .. I just go away and pretended I have something important to do..But I don't wanna embarrass myself especially not infront of the juniors..

but I later took the challenge. I started slowly with 11... from 11 to 25... then 50... now I can do 110..@ ago.. it's just a gradual process. smiley

But he was in his 80s... How many more years do u want him to live? Besides people are dying in their numbers in UK, Spain and US.. and they got world class hospitals or don't they?...I might be sounding like a broken record but if the world might call the Chinese govt and ask them what they did in their laboratory that caused this virus... It might sound like something we all see in Hollywood action movies..i hate to say this but I believe what Trump said that the Chinese inventing this virus...

Beside that, what I hated was the inequality still going on in Nigeria.. There was a place I read where they said that the private clinic where the man passed away, posted a notice that they don't admit patients with the virus.. Which means they do not have the capacity to treat anyone that got the virus... so why was he there? Is that clinic not indirectly endangering the lives of other patients in that said clinic?

LadySarah:
A sensible man will transfer his angst to the food and eat it hungrily grin grin

It's a very foolish behavior. Hw many times will you reject ur wife's food cos of anger?
You know, It's really easy to say that a sensible man will attack the food smiley...But when a man was in that "deep heated fellowship" with his spouse, and he got that lady/wife that runs her mouth 120km per min,... u know the type that talks without swallowing saliva ,U won't remember any thing sensible.. The only sensible thing most remembers was to leave the house and cool off somewhere outside the house ... because if u remain there, u might damage something.. and u can't damage what u love.

When the man is calm and back, eating the food presented will depend on the level of his displeasure.Especially when there was no closure yet .... Dignity and respect can never be bought in a convenient store... lots of us has learn how to fix something for ourselves in the kitchen, some goes to the restaurant and eat, few who love homemade food that can't stand restaurant meal and can't cook has learn to chew toothpick but just to make it look like they have had something just to upset the mrs.

There's nothing childish about not wanting to eat... It is a choice...If ladies sees that as being childish, It's like beating up a child and still preventing him/ her from crying...U upsets someone, instead of a proper apology, u said honey dinner is ready, or in some cases they send the kids to go and tell their father that dinner is ready... No now... You have to follow due process cheesy A man should treat his wife nicely and a woman should not forget to do the same.. apologize when necessary.

Just saying that in terms of skill acquisition, The writer has bitten off more than she can chew whill trying to get the right skill . Hence her inability to complete most skills successfully.. it has never worked out for anyone. It's like trying to be the jack of all trade, master of none... When you discovered something that you truly like, u will know it and it comes out effortlessly. Look out for that one skill in your inner mind. U will find it. Not the one imposed on u.

As for connections, It'seems that it is not everyone that is so lucky in that department .. Don't worry, your effort will pay some day...

One thing I discovered is that you are easily persuaded by people around you. Some times their good intentions were not always the best. It's not too late to follow your intuition.. it helps so that you won't have any one to blame should things doesn't work out...

I know that you are introverted. U can't do this by yourself.. if u recognise anything like connection go for it.. it is part of networking...

First things first
Weight loss is the number one thing that can ease his snoring

@ OP...Dear poster, only you can take control of your life. You must find other healthier ways to relieve stress. Since it may be hard to do the perfect thing which is run/jog for at least half an hour every morning? Buy a threadmill or elliptical cycle for your home. Get acquainted with it anytime you are home. In about a month or two you might have a new (excellent) addiction staring at you. You can watch some TV while working out too.

Snack on nuts and apples/garden eggs instead of whatever you usually eat at night. Some prefer cucumbers and nuts. Go easy on the nuts but wild with the fruits/vegs. Apple/garden eggs and cucumbers all help with breath. You might need to see a dentist and a doctor to rule out underlying causes of bad breath for example kidney disease. This could start with the simple blood pressure check. I wager this would be up from your normal- associated with your sedentary living and snacking. Brush your teeth (clean tongue too) morning and night. Buy Bragg’s organic apple cider vinegar (2 tablespoonfuls to about a quarter of a glass of water) and drink this morning and night for four days to one week every month. Don’t continue with it if it burns your stomach or chest.

I know people who would leave you for having bad breath. Not something they can help- an aversion to MO/BO. The good thing is you recognise that your wife is not hating on you for nothing.
Starting exercise, snacking on vegs/fruits will make you lose weight, breathe better at night (reduce or even eliminate snoring) and motivate you to even do more (positive feedback mechanism)

Key- exercise the way you make money
Do this for yourself...you would feel good about and proud of yourself. And like yourself better. You wife will start admiring and wanting you again. Even the real effort you make towards this will strike a caring chord in her. Start today.
Cheers

ive always been a movie geek & football fan from childhood and it's unfair to ask me to change because of marriage. what other time do i have for my hobbies if not after work?
No buddy.. If that's how she found u,then you need to make some adjustment to accommodate her too.. What I'm trying to say is that there are exercise you can still do while watching TV. eg Sit-up, push ups etc .. say u are watching your favorite program and there was a commercial, u can count how many sit up or push up u can do before the commercial end... it won't be a big deal if u try that every day.

She needed the sex too remember.. it's not only u that was staving.. but she can stand it especially the bad breath I guess..She did not meet u with a bad breath i suppose... and u were reasonably tidy when both of u met right?... is it then fair to change that because u were married?

I don't know why I feel that he didn't write that himself. It could be the team of professionals that wrote it and he signed it.. I heard the virus makes breathing difficult... since he was not admitted in any hospital, could be that the situation worsened..

Where u a couch patato before marriage or was that a habit that u picked up recently?... if that was a new habit please drop it..

Bad breath.. That can put any reasonable individual off at any time. It's like a switch no matter how nice u are to your spouse...it doesn't work.. Try and brush your teeth after the late night snacks.

As for snoring, I don't think Nigeria hospital has the capacity to cure that or give guidance..it takes lot of therapy to contain... .

please Do not forsake or abandon yourself because u were married. It is not a crime to still look exactly the way she found u or even better.

I was trying my very best to find a valid reasons why she shouldn't do what she was doing . But I couldn't find any. Other than for better or worse. But she has been sticking to that at least u testified to it...so look into her concerns / grievances and do something about it.

Some guys assuming reverse was the case, they would have started dating their coworkers, their secretaries, ladies across the street etc. Especially those that can't put up with dirty habits

In as much as he was trying to protect his own citizen/ people that elected him. He still got a boss.. Just imagine in a corporate world managers due to the fact that they have knowledge of their respective roles decided to ignore directives of the CEOs.. How will that organisations function.

Dialogue is always the best policy..As a public servant, public/ outright disregard / disrespect is not the best way even when u don't want to carry out a particular directive...

What kind of example were u setting by doing so because u might wake up one fine morning and discovered that your orders has been ignored by your subordinates and they went public with it instead of having a dialogue with you.

You love her yes... But she got some flaws that u can't tolerate. So based on that, what should a reasonable person do in such situation.. in fact what do u think Jesus will do?

If u can figure that out in this world wide lock down, u are the luckiest man alive.. Don't let any one have access to your decision based on this.. or they too will bankrupt u of a good decision/ using your head forever.

Good luck bro smiley

As someone said up there, Marriage is not all about sex.. There are times u when to have a meaningful conversation. Is that person up to it? Can he/she inspire u into being a better human both in business, emotionally etc..

Sex is not all that makes a marriage... cooking and cleaning is not what makes a woman a wife material.. Spending fire is not what makes a good husband/ potential suitor.. my opinion though...

huh I have been meaning to ask this question though for a long time... Can any corporate individual answer please. I know that Nigeria used to have land line but now, it doesn't have a functional land line. (I stand to be corrected though )

My question is, how would a corporate entity identify official line eg many places that I know transacts businesses with landlines not mobile numbers.. if ministry of defence calls for example or a bank calls, how would you know that it was indeed whom they said that they were... when everyone is using private mobile numbers . again how comfortable are u as an individual when a mobile number was calling when a business transactions that involves money is concern

Don’t be ridiculous!

Readjust your life as best as you can and care for the children yourself.

A minor has been sexually assaulted and your marriage has been dishonoured by your spouse and you are here asking how you cope with your children.

Put them in the dustbin now, what nonsense kind of question is this one sef!
I just want to ask you this question and I want you to be honest with me.. don't do it just for the sake of likes.. If u were in OP's shoes, who has weigh the pros and cons, would you report your husband?

Op has decided to forgive the man.. But was looking for a way to heal and u suggested she should leave the marriage .. If you were Op or she was your family member, Would you have abandoned your marriage or ask your family member to leave her matrimonial home.

Just want an honest answer from the heart.

Does it hurt to be kind to others?
After all he started during this Covid19 ish..For him to always show up, you don't know his challenge don't just conclude.
My elder brother had this same sort of friend back then, always coming to chill with is and all that but upon all, there wasn't a complain. He will sleep over, eat , even demand more et al. Our upbringing, we don't really care everyone is welcomed.
That same friend now is an SSA to the SP.
I feel u big time Bro.. but your brother's friend sort of visit was when he was a bachelor right? And your family won't mind I guess because he was seen as a childhood friend and part of the family.

But if your brother is married now, he won't be entertaining such friend because of the fact that he is married. It will be easier for Jesus to return again than to see a woman who is extremely accommodating in this 21st century.. I mean the ones that can understand most mens carefree lifestyle when visiting is concern.

I'm not in support of the incessant killings lately. All I'm saying is, people should try as much as possible to stay indoors as instructed, to avoid stories that touch.

We all know the kind of security personnels we have in our country; that they are not friendly and violence is the only language they speak.

May God deliver us from them this period.
I got u now. But anyone that read your previous post was thinking that u were playing the devil's advocate. And it wasn't pretty.
