Oizee:Thank you my dear...What he (OP) doesn't know was that many of them came from a dysfunctional family... they have witnessed it in their family first hand...So if someone says the opposite ( like hey the wife might not have cheated on him), they will be furious because they are judging based on what they know... It's just like a married woman seeking for an advise from her divorced friend...what do you think will be her most probable answer considering the fact that she has seen it all...I feel bad for some of them because when they talk, and you read between the line, you will understand their background.. |

Karleb:  It's not really easy to be a stay at home mum Bro... but that woman is the annoying type...She is a help mate and should make life a bit easier for the guy since the arrangement was for her to stay at home while he work...5:30pm sharp, abandon all u are doing and put pot on fire for your man because he will return and he will be hungry...it's not rocket science...she can't tell me that she did not have the time to eat her own meal through out the whole day because she is busy... Why running helter skelter when he's already back and hungry?...If he starts branching at Titi' s house to eat and returning home late or probably refusing the food she cooked because he's already well fed somewhere, she will start complaining on how men were the same... Unlike them talking nonsense, I don't go about shopping for likes,.. it will not add anything to my life..I am too old to join the cheating bandwagon without exploring other angles... Some of us (husband) are kind of inconsiderate.. A lady was on a confined space(car or airplane) for some hours after vacation, while coming back, a better half couldn't just figure it out that she might just be tired... Is it an abomination to put the sex on hold for just that night?.. I have no idea that as long as you went on vacation, you can never get tired even while spending hours on transit... My own opinion might sound different but honestly, u are kind of inconsiderate man.. Someone traveled all the way, came back exhausted, what you were thinking was Sex? ...It didn't even occur to you that she might be tired? I like your brother already... He is indeed a lawyer....How I wish he doesn't listen to those telling him to go over there... Assuming he's in a different profession, it would have been a different ballgame.... Assuming Nigerian law and the law practised there were the same, it would have been easy for him to continue without stress When he gets there, The next thing will be to remind him who brought him over on any slight misunderstanding.. who is earning more.. eventually she will provoke him to anger.. call UK police and finally divorce him..Law firm he 'no hold', lecturer job, 'he no hold', even the marriage, 'he no hold'... She wanted to better her own career by choosing to travel, so she shouldn't rope someone who doesn't want to travel...The man have a flourishing career in Nigeria...and he can't give that up as well to go pick a peanut job over there.. If she can't stand the long distant relationship, she should forget about the marriage.. Both of them should find a way to take care of the kid(s) 1 Like |

In my opinion,16 years is enough to know your woman except maybe the shock absorber is wearing thin ...Based on what you have narrated here, You failed on the compatibility test during courtship.. However, some of us like them witty and sarcastic...No dull moment.. So what do you intend to do to your shock absorber without destroying anything?...bearing in mind that violence and physical abuse is not the best solution to resolve things.. OP, incase if u were asking what I will do,...Yes I will respond back...We all have limit to what we can take... During courtship, his stance on domestic violence should have come up on how he feels about physical abuse and what will happen if that should happen.. My own golden rule is.. Please Don't hit me first... God knows I will never hit you no matter what.. but in an event u mistakenly hit me, I might not be responsible for my reaction because I will mistakenly hit back twice or more... Verbal abuse, I will be a gentleman and walk away on a heated argument to cool off but slapping me, No dear..' That will be tempting the lord your god' . If u can't take it don't dish it out...if he missed an appointment, she should have placed a strike action in the kitchen.. no cooking for the time being.., bedroom matters on lockdown.. no showering together... If he's the type that can't pick a normal clothes to work without assistance, let him wear the mismatch clothes to work or occasion..Give him the best silent treatment in the book not slapping him.. That's how I have seen or experienced wives registering their displeasure in a civilized manner... Who knows how long that abuse have been going on.. to an extent of doing it outside.. I get really upset with this kind of news...no one has the right to beat another person.. 2 Likes

Why would anyone sue for emotional abuse and still stays in that relationship?..For him or her to reduce the abuse? Or pay for the abuse? I see it the same way I see a man that proposed to a lady In public/ private and she rejects the proposal... If he wished to continue after that, what does he want to gain? |

I feel bad for the death of the toddler... the insurance companies around that area will also feel the pains and the impact in their wallets... There will be lots of cheap hailstorm damaged cars on sale over there... good bargain opportunities for students and low income earners to drive better cars.. |
