Mooh247:Abuja is not that Northern... I'm guessing that there are more gentlemen and ladies in Abuja than any other state in Nigeria...Assuming it was played in Lagos, the casualties would have been more....It's an unfortunate incident though.. |
You have done what you should do which was to apologize ....Next step is pack your bag and make yourself scarce in that house ... I will turn to a local masquerade that appears occasionally if I were you ... |
joshuaidibia:I'm very proud of you buddy...U have proved that resitting a semester is not the end of the world....Though there are no easy courses but I heard that Geology is pretty special in terms of being tough .. ![]() |
I wish I could see this Justice M. S. Shuaibu on zoom or skype...and personally thank him for being a pacesetter ... |
Octobertwentysix:It was a big mistake indeed Honestly....I was only doing what I was taught ... giving people benefit of the doubt |
Kingozymandias:My Dearest Ancestor, I only asked you harmless questions, on how you earned the amount that you claimed after graduation with third class considering how Nigerian employers excludes those with such grade, and you flared up...You were doing so well in terms of telling me on how you went about that until the second paragraph where you showed that indeed you got third class. ![]() You jumped into conclusion that I was not successful and that I was a kid Dear Ancient of days, as old as you are, you should have known by now that successful individuals whose heart are contented will most likely never act the way you did just to prove a point...That's because u owe no one an explanation.... deep down, u know your worth and what u have achieved...especially not on a faceless forum like this where no one cares if u were rich or poor... I was expecting a decent conversation with an adult who claimed to have made it with third class to throw some wisdom, so that some readers who might have been in such situation will learn first hand on how they can go about their situations in a similar manner ...But hmmmm!!!! I guess oga got some more growing up to do than I should... Look....If you are living in your own bobbles, fantasizing on a lucrative job in an oil company and lying online just to be relevant, please stop it.. it's not the best way ... We have seen lots of "successful" individuals online but in reality .....I will not derail OP's topic more than I have done already...Cheers...and have a fantastic day... |
Kingozymandias:Sorry to jump in but I really need to ask you some questions.....What did you study in the university in Nigeria that gave you half a million a month with 3rd class?.... or have Nigeria changed what it used to be? Just asking because we have read about so many First class graduates on this forum who couldn't make head way even with their grade and I think no one will be more focused as they are.... or don't u think so?...I want to talk about Nigerian reality/ practicality that I used to know and not motivational speeches of drive and focus ... At least, those days when I graduated long time ago, I have seen so many job advertisement excluding those with 3rd class... In fact majority of the advert does that those days... they specifically pinpoints the grade that they wanted... so where and how will they ( 3rd class) be focused when they were excluded and prevented to prove themselves... |
Congratulations on the pushups...The most important aspect of this story is that you are healthy buddy.... As for the packs, Just put in more effort and it will be visible without people using magnifying glasses to find it ![]() |

I kind of liked this stadium a lot I don't just know why.... or maybe it could be because it's camera friendly ...Hope it will contribute to the team's good-luck charms tomorrow...Wishing the boys the best in their outing.. |
Oga honestly, your thread reeks of hallucination and somnambulism....So money is basically the only or main reason a woman cheats in Marriage .....So when the money is available, she has no reasons to cheat right?... Wow!!!!If I understand correctly, Igbo women are also women right?....There might be a high chance of Loneliness and Negligence in that relationship...The man in his quest for money to satisfy the lady, flying from Japan to North Korea...From China to USA for Business might neglect the most important factor....Don't you think that the lady might be tempted to sleep around? What about...Dissatisfied by their partner sexually...Does money heal that too?...Since you said that the Igbo men were mostly 40/ 50 years before getting married... do you know that most times, the sexual drive within that age bracket most times dwindle "Midlife Crisis" Hence opened the avenue for any cheating spouse to have a field day... Oga a woman might cheat because they crave conversation, empathy, respect, devotion, adoration, support, or some other connection that's lacking in their current relationship....I can go on and on to counter your argument here but let me allow others to speak... Oh!! By the way, I love that tribe a lot and I think they are one of the greatest....( my opinion though since I am entitled to it ) |
234GT:But the OP did not mention any reason or reasons why the mother inlaw was residing in that house or maybe I did not read that part... |
ImaIma1: ![]() Oh!! really...Technology has advanced indeed....It's been like donkey years that I have hidden my number to make a call.... I was thinking that the hiding thing is still like an option those good old days back then in Uni,...with 3310 at hand, you press * 31* press the numbers...the receiver will have a blank caller |
234GT:There are many reasons why one finds themselves in an inlaw's home buddy.... The fact that she was there does not mean she was not happy with her husband... Now, a situation where a couple resides in Abuja and their parent resides in the East or West for example... They got a disturbing message that one of their parent were sick.... and the couple brought that parent to Abuja... After he/she was discharged, the doctor recommend that he/she should be coming to the hospital 2 to 3 weeks for medical checkup and observation for 3 months... If you were in such situation, will u ask your parent or her parent to be shuttling from the West or East to Abuja every 2 weeks for the duration of the 3 months as the doctor recommended because you cherish your privacy so much or will you accommodate her for that period? |
U relocated and went ahead to call her exposing your phone number so... Didn't your peers teach you on how to hide your phone number so that it can appear private, so that you will have control over who calls you...then if u want or choose to have a bad day, u call her.. That was one of the first thing I learnt those days in early 2000 when phones started in Nigeria with my Nokia 3310 .. No blocking those days... even when I upgraded with Nokia touch I still sABI how to hide my number if I do not want the receiver to know my number...Try and be in control of your happiness now that you were no longer with her...I don't understand though how a child will call his/her mother and she starts ranting immediately...Some family we have on this planet though :-[.. |
The need to doctor and sensor words are still the reasons why this war is still going on....People don't call a spade a spade or say things the way they are nowadays....... They keep on using "hot water" to press down words so that it will be mild on the skin...while innocent people are dying daily... When an individual authorized the launch of symbolic missile strikes intentionally that kills innocent citizens on cold blood... which “butcher" or abattoir pass that one?
|
234GT:Are You insinuating that you cannot allow your own mum to come for medical checkup if the situation warrants it for 2 months because you cherish your privacy? just a harmless question |
That first picture is very disturbing.. |
<<< Do not use two legs to determine the depth of a river ![]() |
Seunfretty:You did not watch the match buddy...Or you were observing from afar in a crowded place....The guy tuned on throughout the match... saved more than Three shocking shots...and many minor ones...Even when the midfield was porous .. ![]() |
Does she have US passport?....If yes, ....Then obey the 10th commandment that says..."thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods....or anything that belongs to your neighbor.. ..She belongs to the US... your neighbor ....She's not yours |
Just wondering how the parent will receive/ take this kind of news....This is just heart breaking ![]() |

There was one shocking save I saw yesterday....That would have been a goal..... and many other minor ones...He tuned on through out the match... His confident level is 81% based on my amateur assessment...He is very Good |

I look forward to a day someone will open a thread and ask if eating food is normal...That people should advice if he/she should eat ... It seems that that time is approaching really fast ![]() |
Please try piano OR violin Lessons.... It helps to calm the soul.... If he can't cope, Look for boys scout some where around you and enroll him....He will be fine. Wishing you the best buddy |
GboyegaD:Ok buddy.. In My opinion, I did not see an atom of wickedness in him except the communication factor.... That lady was not ready to go to Nigeria... Not in this life time.... And there's no time she is gonna approve of the man building a house judging by her utterances...... The way I see it, I believe that he knows very well whom he is living with hence his decision not to let her know.... All I see is my kids, my kids.. my kids... I have never seen our kids...Abeg... Make she divorce him already and be done with it....Nigeria is never a place for special need kids... all the special need kids in Nigeria have all been abused and the rest have all died... I'm done talking on this thread... as a matter of fact, this is the longest thread I have ever participated since I joined Nairaland 2009 ...Mchewwww!!!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend buddy ![]() |
Who taught Ghanians how to waste Free kicks and corner kicks like this? ![]() |
It's like they went to Ghana to draw.. |

GboyegaD:I did...According to her she stopped several months ago |
