Tharmon: I have been hearing the word for a while now and haven't got any idea of what the meaning is. It goes like this " I go put am for your body wotowoto"
Iamdbull: Finally nairaland family have a chance of being well represented at the big brother Naija, as your favorite boy Dbull on this one has registered please pray for me that I get chosen. I promise to come and do giveaway here and represent nairaland Wella. The name of my fanbase is #BULLIONAIRES.
Here is an exclusive interview about myself that I did while applying
lwisee: Since you are not stupid, why not wait for police report or go there to do your own private investigation. The bottom line is that a life was cut short at its prime which should be condemned. There should be a law against jungle justice
Don't get me wrong bro..i totally agree with you. A young man's life was caught short in the most gruesome way and personally I will keep campaigning against that barbaric jungle justice act.
But my question is.. Was the guy in question not recognized by anyone there at all if he truly works there and frequents that location? Seriously that's what I don't get.
lwisee: Something like what? Why did you conclude that this story doesn't add up? Probably because none of your family has experienced jungle justice. You don't know that when irate mob gathers, conclusions are made without second thought...
Oga use that head of urs and think like d adult that you are.. Not all of us here are stupid ok.
Cashio: This story is shit. If the brother in law and the guys were actually working around that region and were regulars as they claimed, they wouldn't be lynched because two or three persons must have known them around the area. The mob that beat them were definitely from the vicinity and definitely one or two of them must have recognised them. Were they the only persons in the place they were making music? Why didn't other people come out to attest to the fact that they were musicians or whatever.
I am surprised people are buying this claim. Not justifying any form of jungle justice whatsoever.but I think the claim is porous.
Wisdom shall not elude you, bro.. You are seeing it from my angle as well.
The only movie I can think of is the movie of a mother who ended her promising teenage daughter's career and sold her to a hag, old enough to be her grand dad all for money..
uwakeminent: I just can't imagine what happen this evening. I went out to buy food n eat, on my way back i saw a very nice looking girl n was just passing her by when she greeted me and said "please excuse me, please can u help me with 500naira" na so i just put hand for pocket comot 1k give am, even follow am dey waka for shops dey look change. After collecting the money, she thank me and departed just like that. I no even collect number, i no even ask her name. Make una enlighten me more. I can't continue simping like this. Right now am angry wit myself. I just dey waste money anyhow ontop girls matters without kpanshing
You are not a simp my bro. Pls don't let societal doctrines play with your head ok.. I only hope you can exhibit same gesture to a guy.
EBUBS: Lawyers in the house please give me the advice. I've never been in this situation. Please What's the best step to take.
Its legal that you all be given a 6month grace to at least get yourselves a new place.. But come Oh!..renovating a whole building because of soak away? Which kine shit una dey shit there biko
SweetBlade: A lady has revealed the true story behind the killing and burning of a sound engineer in a Lekki, Lagos State yesterday. The lady using her Twitter handle Ope K. King @Opetheking, revealed it was a case of jungle justice and not the initial story which profiled the Hausa ethnic group.
The killing of the sound engineer which further heightened tension and anger in a nation already mourning the killing and burning of a student of Sokoto State College of Education over an alleged blasphemy against the Prophet Muhammad.
I will just leave you to read the story yourself. My bones are too weak for long analysis and write ups on all these madness going on in Nigeria.
“Because, I’m seeing some comments about my brother-in-law being a Yahoo boy/ritualist and it’s really breaking my heart.
Yes, Uncle David was killed over N100… this is what really happened”
“The bikeman involved carried two passengers to drop near (Beer Barn) Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1.
Uncle David was NOT one of these passengers.
These guys were some of the musicians that came to work at Beer Barn.
Bikeman was supposed to collect N400, the guys gave him N500.Bikeman said he didn’t have N100 change. The two guys didn’t have too.
So they gave the bikeman N300 assuring him that they are regulars on the street and will balance him whenever they see.”
“The men turned to leave and the bikeman grabbed one of the guy’s shirt, tearing it in the process.
The guy whose shirt the bikeman tore, turned and punched the bikeman which resulted into the bikeman fainting/knocked out of consciousness. All these while, Uncle David was inside Beer Barn. It was when people around (including the bikeman’s tribesmen) started dragging these two guys to wake up the bikeman, that was when Uncle David was called in.
My brother-in-law came to separate fight o. Prior to this, around last week, someone had slumped and died and people had suspected foul play. Saying the incident was linked to guys on a bike who could possibly be yahoo boys.So when this incident involving the bikeman occured, people automatically assumed that yahoo boys are at play again.
When Uncle David saw that there was an angry mob, and the situation had been blown out of proportion and accusations were flying, he ran and hid himself.A woman who didn’t know the origin of the whole issue, found Uncle David hiding and directed the mob to where he was, accusing him of being a ritualist.
They used stone to break his head.
They beat him. Stripped him naked and eventually set him on fire. This is what happened.
This is the truth.
Uncle David was a reputable human being.
He wasn’t dragging N100 with a bikeman. He was called in to separate the fight.
The two guys involved were beaten almost to death and are now in critical condition.”
Please let’s say No to jungle justice.
Anyone who calls my brother-in-law a ritualist again will meet with a fate 10x worse.
Don’t throw accusations without evidence. If you don’t know the whole story, don’t intervene.
No one’s life is in your hand. You have no right to slap, hit, or maim someone even if you caught them in a crime. Drag them to the police!
Why would you kill someone?!
Why should one of the kindest souls die based on sheer savagery, animalistic tendencies, and illiterate paranoia?
I am sad.His wife, kids, family, friends, colleagues…everyone is mourning and heartbroken because some people chose to be wicked and animals.
Northern men made up most of this angry mob. Now their bikeman is alive and well.So far, 15 people have been arrested including the unfortunate woman who showed the mob where my brother-in-law was hiding.
If there are anymore updates, I’ll let y’all know.”
Commenting a Twitter user @MikeMilli said: “The joke is now on us, we thought it was a hausa slaughter thing but it is our support of jungle justice. I have always stood my ground on mob action, except someone is armed he or she should be allowed to go through legal actions. If the police release them, that is not your biz”
Another Tweep @VicEmeya wrote: “This is heart broken . May God judge them all. Imagine a woman that’s is supposed to protect him was the one who gave him out to his killers. May David’s soul RIP”
This is the same Nigeria we fought against police brutality and called for end end of profiling of youths by policemen but here is a youth and a sound engineer hustling to provide for his family wasted by same youths.
Bike guys happen to be prime suspects and woman sees a totally different person taking cover and calls him a ritualist and he is mobbed..abeg this doesn't add up at all. There is something they aren't telling the public. This story doesn't add up at all.
Jenniferchuma10: Copied from TRENDINGHUB.NG Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola has blown hot at those constantly using his pictures to advertise their business.
“Stop using my face to advertise frozen fish” – Actor Odunlade Adekola blows hot It has come to the notice of the actor, that many small scale restaurants, canteens and eateries are fond of using his pictures to promote their businesses.
Reacting to it, Odunlade Adekola warned them to stop using his face to advertise their frozen fish business, especially in the trenches.
Odunlade Adekola tweeted, “You people should stop using my face to advertise frozen fish in the trenches”.
But if he is called and given an endorsement for that same frozen fish with the the posters and billboards well packaged and scattered all over Lagos, my guy no go ever complain.
Ogbenro: Pardon my errors, sometimes last year I met an old school friend of mine, same set but different department, we were close but not too close, she was a friend to one of my course mate. I ran into her late December last year at a mall and we exchanged numbers.
Truth be told I used to like this lady a lot, but I thought she was way above my league then and I was kinda reserved when I was in uni, I didn’t really know my way around women then. Infact, I never had a girlfriend.
Man is doing good now although not perfect but I get one or two things going. My confidence is so much better now and I have been in and out of quite a few relationship.
My interest was reignited with this lady and we seem to flow well, she is presently in youth service.we were very close and we talk almost everyday. I was losing my mind and I really fell hard for this girl. Maybe she noticed it and decided to play on my intelligence she would see my messages and keep posting on her status without replying. She would never text first I text all the time. I do the calling all the time too. Anytime I ask why she does this she would say she just come online to upload status bla bla bla.
My curiosity led me to ask her out properly and she told me she can’t date me, I was pained asked why and she couldn’t give a tangible reason. I kept asking and telling her how much I’m serious about her but this girl would not have any of it.
Some weeks later she came over to my place. She is serving in Lagos and I work in Lagos too. One thing led to another and we had sex. One of the best I have ever had in years the sex was very good. After the sex I still asked her if she would be my gf her answer was still No. and she is very much single.
I Got tired of asking and we just be some normal freinds, I stopped talking entirely about it. Communication seized for like a week as I was very busy with work, girl came into my Dm and started guilt tripping me telling me thank God she didn’t say yes and she wanted to know how truthfully my intentions were.
Mind you this same girl said there would never be a relationship and even said I should go ahead and date any girl I like. And to be honest I moved on pretty good. Why the blame now? I asked you out you said No on three different occasions spanning into 3 months. Isn’t that enough to get an answer?
Ever since then the girl would not fail to remind me how I missed on a good girl bla bla bla. Telling me there are no good girls out there. Truth be told I can’t go back to her, I would never settle down as a second option. I think she was seeing someone when we weee together but the guy didn’t take things serious so I was the back up plan.
If she weren’t an old school mate I would have blocked her, her daily sermons about how she will make a better wife irritates my soul. She wanted to visit after that for a sleepover but I have been avoiding her at all cost.
What would you do if you were in my shoes, pardon the errors was typing fast and I didn’t want to proofread anything
The smartness of a regular Nigerian girl turns out to be foolishness in the end..
You did what any sane and modest guy'll do but she threw it back at you..you have nothing to lose or worry about.
theamazonguru: Why disturbing yourself. God who sees the heart already knows what the guy would have done if HE allows him access to wealth in Billions, hence he took care of that. So people like you and I will not witness "shege" from wicked souls like him.
This is to tell Nigerians that they are the only ones divided by religion and tribal differences, their leaders are not. Their sole aim is to enrich their pockets and build wealth for their future generations.
You will never hear Peter Obi, Bola Tinubu or Atiku condemn act at this point in time.
So Atiku withdrawing his statement, definitely knows the political repercussions.
You are correct but his statement shows he is human..The man was touched and didn't even realise when he was propelled to do so.
iwaeda: President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to end the lingering strike.
Buhari urged ASUU to consider the plight of the students and called off the industrial action.
The President made the appeal at the 19th National Productivity Day Celebration and Conferment of National Productivity Order of Merit Award, held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
He also urged the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, to exercise patience as the government tries to resolve the crisis.
Buhari recalled his February 1 directive to His Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari, the Ministers of Education and Labour and Employment, Adamu Adamu and Chris Ngige, respectively, to address the concerns of the striking aggrieved workers’ unions.
On Monday, ASUU has been on strike since February 20222.
But ASUU on Monday extended its ongoing roll-over strike by another three months.
The body is demanding funding for the revitalisation of public universities, the Earned Academic Allowances, the University Transparency Accountability Solution (UTAS) and promotion arrears.
Others include the renegotiation and implementation of the 2009 ASUU-FG Agreement and the inconsistency in the Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System.

vicdom: Former President Goodluck Jonathan Has Recieved His Membership Card From His Bayelsa APC Ward Chairman . He Has Also Acquired The Required Number Of Signatures On His APC Presidential Nomination Form And Would Submit Soon.
After Denial, GEJ Is Now An APC Member And Would Make An Official Statement In The Coming Days.
I'm quite disappointed at Mr Goodluck Jonathan.. For one who doesn't have the doggedness for Nigerian politics, i expected him to stay away so as to maintain the little respect and sanity he's got left.
sukkot: an eclipse does not happen everyday but the full moon and new moon happen a total of 24 times a year. so they dont really need the eclipse although an eclipse would make it more potent
hokekeholah: Its not about the man here but the lady... The lady in question must have asked the man if he is a virgin or not before she lied about herself being a virgin.. That comrade is in pain (Lol) Imagine being denied the kpekus for some years all in d name of reserving it and u later find out its a complete mess. The V area of the lady must have been like capital letter( O) I CAN FEEL HIS PAIN
She must have always painted the saintly picture of herself to him probably cos the man was the ' I must marry a virgin' type of man, so she became subtle in her approach and seized the opportunity.
