Senator representing Nasarawa West, Abdullahi Adamu, has in an interview with Sunday Sun, warned that no one should complain should the North begin to retaliate the killings and damages suffered by northerners living in the South.
Adamu who was a two-term governor of Nasarawa State, and now a senator under the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Northerners living in the South have suffered injustice, while southerners living in the North enjoy the benefits without being attacked.

He however, added that moves by Southern Governors to ban open grazing without providing alternatives, and also doing nothing about the killings of Northerners in the South, could come at a heavy cost, as Southerners living in the North could end up paying the price.

He said while the governors pretend to be against the breaking of the country, their actions speaks otherwise.

“They (Southern governors) are sounding like a broken record. You know what a broken record does? It cracks," he said while condemning the decision of 17 Southern Governors to ban open grazing.

“I expected them to be more educated people with responsibility of governance. Each of those governors is under an oath for loyalty, for preservation of the sovereignty of this country.

“That means every one of them is duty-bound to stay away from any act or words that have the tendency of being perceived as being separatists.

“I was a governor for eight years. I know what the Governors’ Forum is. I headed it for five years of my right years. Before that, I was chairman of Northern Governors’ Forum. So, the secretariat you see and the bureaucracy I set them up during my time.”

Adamu added, “Before the Asaba Accord, there was a meeting of all the state governors. About 36 of them were there. Less than a week of that meeting, some people came out and claimed Southern Governors Forum. There is nothing wrong with regional bodies.

“But these governors know the constitution and they know that every Nigerian has the right of movement and association. A right to pursue legitimate goals. These governors are saying no cattle or open grazing. What is the alternative? Have they provided any? If Northern governors come together and take a position, what will happen? What right have you to tell Nigerians not to move freely?

“If northern groups say no southern business in the area, how will that end up? There are killings of northerners going on in the South. If the North decides to retaliate, we will call it genocide. What is happening to us? We only know about problems, but not solutions. People are openly calling for a break up of the country.”

The ban was also condemned by the National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Abdullahi Bello Bodejo, who insists that herdsmen have the constitutional right to graze anywhere in the country, and made it clear that the only thing that would stop herdsmen from grazing in any part of the country, is lack of grass. Otherwise, they'll continue to graze and nothing would happen.

While speaking on ban on open grazing declared by the Southern governors, he said, "We are going to follow the law and see how to approach some good leaders in the South-East, South-West and the South-South. We will also approach the Inspector General of Police and other security agencies to protect our people.

"It is not about grazing; it is a plan against Fulani people. Some people want to hijack the cattle business from us. Anywhere you go now, you see Fulani grazing cows and you will think they belong to them. No! The cows belong to some people in that area or community.

"If you go to Benue, the state that first promulgated the anti open grazing law, you can see cows grazing; their owners are Tiv people. Even the governor, Samuel Ortom, has so many cows. They want to chase us away and continue with our business.

"What these Southern governors are trying to do, some other African countries tried it, but it didn’t work. So, this one will not be an exception. You can’t just wake up without plan B, and say you have banned open grazing.

"This business has history; we didn’t just wake up and start cow rearing. It is a blessing from God; it is God that blesses us with this business, it is not like farming or palm wine tapping business. This is from the beginning; the only thing is how to transform the business.

"These governors are confused; they are trying to deny Fulani their rights and means of livelihood. Nigeria has only one constitution, which the governors are breaching. We may approach the court to stop them from carrying out their plans.

"The process by which they arrived at their decision was wrong. They were supposed to have invited us because we are part of their various states. If you are a governor, you are a governor for everybody living in that state. Since we live in all the states doing our business, it behooved them to have invited us to the meeting.

"I don’t know who is giving them this evil idea. No state can progress without Fulani being in that state; any state without Fulani is backward and poor. Fulani attract blessing. They don’t have problem, but unfortunately, people attribute kidnapping, robbery and banditry to them. It is not fair.

"They have not seen their people killing police and other security personnel. How many police stations have Fulani burnt? How many policemen have Fulani killed? But they want to tamper with the business God has blessed us with. The governors are very wrong."

When told Southern governors are determined to execute the recent ban, he said, "I say it categorically that this ban on open grazing by the Southern governors will never work. The only thing that can stop us from grazing in any area is if there are no grasses and water in such place. Fulani don’t have borders or boundaries; they don’t need permission to graze their cows from one area to another area.

"There is no law, no constitution prohibiting them from doing so. Fulani are educated and they believe in leadership. They follow the constitution, which permits them internationally to graze anywhere. ECOWAS permits us to graze anywhere, but any person that commits a crime, let the law of the land be visited upon such a person," he added.

Brenda's boyfriend (Yes, Boyfriend) is related to Chidimma... in fact, her paternal uncle - Izu.
Izu and Brenda have been going out since she was employed at NNPC, and they're really in love.
Usifo is the only one standing in their way, as they planned to get married after the divorce.
Yes, Brenda and Usifo's marriage had been in tatters for some years, hence their decision to live apart.
Meanwhile, Izu have been footing the University and pocket money bills for Chidimma, since she got admission to UniLag, as his senior brother (Chidimma's father couldn't afford her welfare).

Brenda needed a good evidence of cheating in their marriage, in other to push through a quick divorce.
Izu volunteered to use Chidimma, and arrange a setup relationship between her and Usifo.
At first, Chidimma refused to go along with this plot, until he threatened to withdraw his financial support, and ensure she's sacked from UniLag.

Chidimma reluctantly agreed, and a chance meeting was arranged at a big party, in honour of one of Izu's wealthy clients in Banana Island, in January.
Usifo fell for the pretty damsel, and started dating her.

The plan was for Chidimma to lure Usifo to a set up destination, pre-wired with all sorts of monitoring and recording devices.
This will be a hardcore evidence Brenda needed to push through her divorce.
This was also why it was Chidimma that chose the meeting pad, rather than Usifo's normal arrangements.

On the faithful day, everything was set as planned, and Usifo arrived to meet Chidimma at the pad.
They ate, drank and discussed as usual.
Then Chidimma took the first round of drugs. Please note that Usifo doesn't do drugs, but allows her to smoke, as it turns her on.

He unfortunately was struck fatally by one of the stabs, and slumped to his death.

On realising what just happened, Chidimma screamed aloud... and panic steps in.
She quickly called Izu, and informed him that Usifo was dead.
He calmed her down, and stepped into action.

Izu immediately called his boys that set up the place, and they quickly rushed to the scene.
They whisked Chidimma away, and dismantled all their gadgets.
Izu informed Brenda of the tragedy, and they quickly came up with a plan.

They were to take Usifo's wallet and all valuables on him.
Then Brenda provided Izu's PIN, and the guys went and withdrew cash from Usifo's Bank account, via ATMs.
The idea is to make it look like a robbery went wrong.

Current Events:
Following Chidimma's arrest at her father's house, and subsequent confession of the murder, all hell will soon break loose, and further arrests will happen before the end of the weekend.
Currently, the latest news has it that Chidimma's father and the owner and management of the AirBnB have been arrested.
Chidimma is scared, and will reveal everything soon.

Israeli company develops camouflage that makes soldiers ‘invisible’

Israeli survivability products company Polaris Solutions has developed a camouflage technology that renders soldiers on the battlefield virtually undetectable.

In cooperation with the Israeli Defense Ministry, the company recently unveiled Kit 300, an innovative camouflage sheet made out of a material that provides multispectral concealment.

According to Polaris Solutions, nothing else like its camouflage sheet exists on the market today.

“As far as we know, or as far as we saw in other armies around the world, we are very unique,” Asaf Picciotto, co-founder, and CEO of Polaris Solutions told The Media Line. “To establish that, we actually registered a patent on it in many countries around the world.”

The lightweight sheet is made out of a special thermal visual concealment (TVC) material, comprised of metals, polymers and microfibers. Thanks to TVC, soldiers are much more difficult to see both with the naked eye and with thermal imaging equipment.

Thus, it can be used for counter-surveillance in a wide variety of military scenarios.

The idea for the technology was born in 2006 during the Second Lebanon War. At the time, Picciotto was in a special Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) unit and saw firsthand that soldiers on the ground required better protection from their enemies’ thermal cameras and night-vision equipment.

“You have to be better than the enemy and we understood that there were big gaps in the survivability part,” Picciotto recalled.
Polaris Solutions was founded a few years later, in 2010, and is now headquartered in the Israeli port city of Caesarea.

Several former IDF soldiers with special forces training have lent their expertise to the company, which also produces a range of tough and durable tactical textiles and patented military products.

Kit 300 was specifically developed to counter new and ever-evolving challenges on the battlefield.

“Camouflage nets haven’t changed too much in the past 50 year,” Yonatan Pinkas, director of marketing at Polaris Solutions, told The Media Line.

“We wanted to bring in a new type of material,” he added. “So TVC was born.”
Each sheet comes with different coloration on each side: one for dense vegetation and the other for more desert-like landscapes. In addition, the company customizes patterns and coloring based on client needs and geographic region.

The sturdy material can be molded into three-dimensional shapes or folded into a compact roll. It also is waterproof, can provide shelter or be fashioned into a stretcher to carry wounded soldiers on the battlefield.

“It has additional value in medical use,” Pinkas noted. For example, he said, it can carry weight up to 250 kilograms, can be used as a splint to immobilize a broken bone and can serve as a hypothermia blanket.

Polaris Solutions is working with Israel’s defense industry as well as government agencies abroad, including special forces units in both Canada and the United States.

Internationally, Kit 300 is known as Jag Hide.
“Our products are being tested by some units, which I cannot name, and we have several mutual operations there,” Picciotto said.

Though the company's TVC products are unique, other tech innovators have recently made groundbreaking forays in the stealth materials arena.

Last year, Canadian company HyperStealth Biotechnology Corporation revealed a light-bending material called Quantum Stealth that appears to make a person vanish. The company refers to the invention as a “broadband invisibility cloak,” though its efficacy largely depends on the angle and distance from which it is viewed.

A number of technical hurdles remain before a true invisibility cloak is developed.
While invisibility was once the realm of science fiction or fantasy, Polaris Solutions has revealed that it is in the process of developing products that could soon turn the idea into a reality.

But it's going to take between five years and 10 years to develop “real deep tech” that can be turned into a line of products, according to Picciotto.
