He consistently insisted that he is focusing on his job as a minister under President Muhammadu Buhari and would not like to be distracted. “I am still the Minister for Transportation and only God can tell who will be the President of Nigeria in 2023,” he insisted.
However, one area that gave a strong hint to Amaechi’s veiled interest in 2023 was the firm backing he gave to the call for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to respect the zoning formula agreed upon at the formation stage of the party. “In the normal recruitment list, every state is usually given equal number but I don't know why this is different. This supplementary list Batch A has resumed, Batch B will resume in January. These are the few people that will join those that are already there. As far as it is supplementary, every zone and state should be included.
"The former ones they did, all states were included in equal numbers except the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); the FCT is the only one that usually gets lesser slots because most of those using FCT to apply are not from there.

Laurent Simons, from Oostende on the Flemish coast, Belgium, successfully completed a three-year course in one year, whilst also taking master’s courses on the side.
He outperformed other students by getting the highest distinction possible.
Simons has been studying for his bachelor’s degree in physics since March 2020, and he now graduated with 85%, which is the highest distinction,” said an Antwerp University spokesperson.
