I have seen young people using social media to promote their business all while still juggling full time work and/or school. These days we don't have a choice because most entry level jobs these days won't even pay enough for us to have any savings left.

Take note of my choice of words, most youths do not utilize the social media for bettering their opportunities. Most use it for frivolities. And of course we have the ones that use it effectively. But they're very few.

Most youth are less productive in this age of technology and social media is far making everyone lose focus of reality. Making us less productive and in the long run affects our ability of securing a job and even maintaining if eventually secured.

i believe social media, even though with its disadvantages, has quite a lot of advantage to offer teeming youths that's really concerned and focused on his/her future career prospects. I believe it's all depend on how we utilize social media to better ourselves. That way, it doesn't just prepare us for the labor market but always prepare our minds to have a well grounded channeling of creativity even away from working as an employee to establishing one owns business and maintaining it. But youths of today, rather than follow on social media, people that have something tangible to offer our career prospect, contribute on topics that open our minds to entrepreneurship, most youths prefer to engage in frivolities. You see most of them on Twitter acting like a primary kids. Most even don't have a LinkedIn profile to position themselves for opportunities, but of course, it's better fun than work while thinking something good comes easy.

Until we youths change our mindset of seeing life being rosy post graduation and understanding the fact the labour market is really competitive and nothing good comes easy, and also that you can become and employer of labor too provided you prepare yourself hard for the task—we may continue to struggle as a graduate.

I believe mindset is the key thing you here, and you guys really need to take it into consideration.

That you knelt to propose is more a romantic custom than one losing one's self esteem. And also a matter of choice. You may say our grandfathers didn't do that with our grandmothers, but this particular Custom is what 20th centuries men had copied largely from the western countries. When I finished my OND and could not find a placement for internship, I was home most times eating my parents food, have a room of my own in my fathers house. My Mom can always give me money whenever I asked her. But I hated myself being idle. I stayed home for 4months doing nothing and just eating, always coming on nairaland argue politics and religious stuffs like my life dependend on em. But I never liked my situation. When I noticed I was starting to hate myself, I just went to a BAKERY to seek u employment. I got it, even though the work was tedious. I fell sick after the first week because you hardly get to a sleep in the bakery. Stilli went back because I just can't stay at home doing. Within a month I got used to the condition. And I was able to hold on to the work for like 6 months before I decided to take Direct entry form again. It was better than sitting down at home and getting fed without being productive.

Being idle and doing nothing productive with a terrible bank balance is a depression on its own, but if you really don't like it, you, as a man, have to drop your past to the past and wake up to take charge of your life. We've all made mistakes and it's until we utilize our mistakes to correct our future, we'd continue to dwell on the futility of the past.

Betting is a very terrible thing. Really addictive and enticing. There's a reason why it's called the fool paradise because the more you play, the more you win, the more you dwell in the world hoping to win more till you lose everything. To avoid it, you need to understand the psychological effects it always has on one and how deceitful the supposed winnings always turn into losses in the long run. Secondly, detach yourself from friends that engages in it. They are blind and would not mind making you blind too. If you see them win, let them celebrate their winning on their own. Don't be greedy to want to win too. In the long run they'll give back all their winnings to the game.

But without you making all these proper consultations and all of a sudden just reached the conclusion of breaking up with her after mercilessly beating her shows the love wasn't that strong. Because if you really love her, you can try change her myopic views and intolerance, it is until she refuses that you discard her.

Now, I'll like to caution you to be careful in the attempt to discard her just like that. She may come up with revenge that'll cripple you if care is not taking. You assaulted her, she can sue you to court for that to get back at you. She can even frame you up for rape or anything. Things like this are what we see everyday..

What I'll urge you to do, if you really do love her and not the infatuation you've displayed so far in the name of love, you sit her down. Let her know you can't because of her drop your family. Your family is you and she must respect your family as much as she respects you, otherwise you're not doing again. The effect of the protest that followed George Floyd's death is still being felt in the United States. The environment allows for peaceful protest. It is through peaceful protests that the voices of the masses are aired to the ineffectual government.
