Now let me educate you a little. Forget about that name Joshua, some converts prefer to retain their former names.

I want you after reading this to make a research. Tariq Aziz sounds much of Muslim name right? But you will be shocked now to find out that he was a staunch Christian. A Catholic. He was second in command to Iraqi Saddam Hussein.

I decided to use him because it's a name you can easily find in Google not to mention many I am living with in same neighborhood.

That guy Joshua is not a Christian period.
lol

Have you ever heard a Muslim in Yorubaland bearing Joshua before?

You must be from the other side and very ignorant or being plain naughty.

No Yoruba person is losing sleep because of those Abokis protesting. Amotekun lives and it is going to be the best security outfit in the world.Only criminals shiver at the thought of Amotekun.I hope you are not one.Amotekun lives positively.

I am just stepping out of the shower and I am already being bothered by a fool.
All you have just said are stories with nothing to substantiate them.
You guys claim Dahomey was under Oyo, then explain to me why Dahomey chose to name itself after Benin and not after oyo ?
You claim oyo was so big, yet no body traded with it and the Bight of Benin was named the Bight of Benin, not the Bight of oyo.
Your story about the awori is just an other yoruba day dreaming. For as long as can be investigated, Lagos was part of Benin empire. The King of Lagos is a relative to the Oba if Benin.
You claim oyo could have easily defeated Benin, yet oyo gave up to the British without a fight and oyo was previously defeated by the Fulani.
Benin fought against the British and lost to no African country.

Since when is oyo an empire ?
And since when is Benin empire a part of oyo kingdom ?
I believe you guys are drunk, even you alafin of oyo has never dared to say his small and weak kingdom ever controlled Benin empire.
Let me just remind you that a few fulani took over oyo kingdom and sold its people into slavery.
When we talk about a strong and expansive empire, should your weak Benin empire show its face when Oyo Empire is talking? How many wars did your weak Benin empire fight.Mumu empire that could not even hold on to Lagos (where they met the peace loving Aworis and became the first king)which they were lucky to have on a platter of gold but what is the situation now? That your shivering mouth will be straightened for you.Benin empire would have been overrun by the Oyo empire if it were not for the relationship that existed between them.Oyo empire was so expansive that it extended up to Ewe in Ghana and Dahomey, now federal republic of Benin.I don't even think that your weak and shivering empire would be able to withstand the Amazons called Fon.

......In my own region SE...you are not even near ....at all...lol....in North...you couldn't...ask yourself why each successive northern recognises Igbos more in their region because they have investment there.

Until you name the particular region, you beat us then we can now discuss...

Now now you have shown that you havnt been to the east. Ebonyi State is the least Developed in the East but I tell you, their state Capital is much more beautiful than any other non Eastern State capital in Nigeria apart from FCT, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Kano. Take it or leave it. Hard fact.
Ebonyi the poverty capital of the south.Even one GRA in Ibadan is more developed than Ebonyi.
Have you ever heard anybody saying that Ekiti or Ondo is more developed than the SE....no,of course because they are not. They do not have the brown roofs or old parts of Ibadan but all of them joined together are not as developed as Ibadan just like Ibadan is more developed than the entire SE states.

Compared the old parts of Ibadan with Igboland.
Ibadan looks like Europe compared to the potopoto and extra brown roof republic of Igboland. grin

.... .it's is laughable that despite the operation of the so called amotekun (a yoruba word which means leopard)in the southwest fulani killings and activities had gone on more rampage why this is due to the ignorant and foolish nature of nigerians.
First and foremost Nigerians(SS SE SW MB) choose to cover their eyes with both hands refusing to see that these northerners are hell bent on using divide and conquer strategy on us in order to achieve their fanatic islamization and domination agenda.we all know the police army and security agencies can't do anything about herdsmen neither prosecute them because they are been headed by fulani sympatisers ogas at the top and the oga presido is infact a big-time old and unrepentant sympatiser with this herdsmen but we choose to deny this fact, which country will see an iminent genocide plot and fold it arms this is why Nigerians excluding the northerners are the most foolish people on planet Earth
Amotekun, how can the so-called amotekun fight off AK47/AR15 gun wielding herdsmen on full rampage mode with their local one shot hunting rifle isn't it rediculous grin and to make matter worst they are even been compelled to hand over the few suspected killer herdsmen they had managed to arrest over the security agencies who as usual continue the cycle of detaining for less than one week b4 they are been released again to unleash more woos into the helpless community.i hereby conclude that amotekun tooth had been knocked out by the FG is claws had been removed by the security agencies amotekun is in a poor fighting shape even it can't haunt a rabbit, hence it just climb helplessly into a tree and watch while it slowly dies from famine and lurking predators near by(e.g the fulani marauding wolf packs in large groups completely surround the helpless amotekun) grin grin grin
More than 70 Fulanis were decimated in Oke Ogun,Oyo state.
Almost 100 Hausa/Fulanis were recently decimated in Ife,Osun state etc.

Yorubas know their strength and will not want to obliterate Fulanis who have the good, bad and the ugly...

The Yoruba system is to warn you extensively and when you don't heed the warnings.. KABOOOOM....you are decimated.
Just like battalions of Biafrans were decimated at Ore. grin

That's was in the early 80's to late 90's when western press are dominating the Nigerian conversation and military governors were sent to the east and south south to rule not to develop. But now the narrative has change, the east and some south state are investing heavily in educating their children, most of these are coming from parents of 2x2 shops or the one you guys are calling traders, uncle's, auntie, the community, the church, thanks to Catholic and Anglican church in the east, these people are trying there best to educate their loved ones.in my community you can't bragg with your degree because its noting new, In terms of human capital development or manpower to service Nigeria economy we have them in abundance.
for example there is no private school in Abuja except Islamic schools you won't find substantial numbers of teachers of igbo extraction. The yorubas have lost that grip and they know it. Let them mention areas they are better than the igbos in the field of education.
lol

It will take light years before you can come close to Yorubas in education.
Let me give you the scenario:
From 1800 plus,Yorubas have been churning out lawyers, doctors etc.Igbos' first graduate was Nnamdi Azikiwe in 1930 plus.Up till now, Yoruba still churn out the best scholars in Nigeria,Africa and the world. Assuming Yoruba have gotten 15 million scholars before you woke up to compete with them and they are still leading but not with that wide margin again, does that say that you have caught up with them?
Yoruba have highest number of doctors, lawyers, engineers etc.The ones we had before ,most are still around and Yorubas have the highest number of profs and higher institutions.

Yes. If you're in doubt get in touch with national bureau of statistics.
NBS still maintains that Ogun state has the highest numbers of industries, higher institutions, man power etc more than Kano.Do you have anything contrary to this?
