Most companies do not give relocation allowance to new employees. What most MNC do is give a soft landing in form of upfront, hotel accommodation for few weeks etc. You are not entitled to anything until after your first month. Was there any form of induction, if there is , which takes weeks in some cases, you would have known how to go about it.

Anyway, your HR advisor should be able to inform you what you are entitled to and what the comapny policy says about your situation. Talk to them.

The discos are not in it to lose. I was told each disco purchase energy from gencos based on how much they were able to recoup. Therefore, the more money they make, the more energy they will demand, then their will be motivation for gencos to quickly invest to generate more. And, then we can be on the road to uninterrupted power supply.
