hahahaha. blackie blackie blackie. easy on boy. this is not a strong thing.
he may probably have a point there. those guys should stop damaging the image of the band. is hard to accept but blackie began the band. he gave those guys their careers. turns our that he became the least successful. he was really pained and that hurt him. he is resentful and lacks versatility that is why his career suffered. ego killed that man. but do you blame him when they all ripped him off. he brought 2face to lagos and 2face lived with his uncle who worked with customs in lagos. but las lass 2face did him wrong. no doubt. we understand that the man is pained but 2face did not try. the man brought you to lagos, harnessed your singing talent, you lived with his uncle, you stole the man's song, and the man is broken.
ego killed blackface. he felt everyone will remain in that condition, but life changes and you have to accept the changes. blackface is not humble at all. he is a very proud man. and that pride killed him. he is the most talented lyricist of the trio but talent does not sell alone. sometimes shenanigans and luck. Tuface had the best vocal skill in the 3 and Kenny gave him massive promo. Face struggled alone to survive and no manager came in to help his career. he has one bad broken tooth that i think he could have fixed to help his career.
Tuface is the winner and he had it all. If I were blackface, just be humble and go into managing and promotion of younger talents. he could have excelled as a manager instead of an artist cos he is really talented. Igboh cannabis ruined his career. while tuface was polishing himself and edging closer to classy and more refined people, blackie was still forming ghetto and rasta sensi nonsense. He killed himself.
he could have polished himself and he speak better english than face and tuface.
tuface: ultimate opportunist. He got the marketable vocals
face: fix your teeth. Tiny vocals
blackface:ego. heavily talented. cannabis and ghetto. Stop fighting the government fight for your money.

They all live with Blackface senior brother that works in the army when they first arrived Lagos for a very short period

Last week, the ball was set rolling for the first episode of the season 5 of the Cowbellpedia game show.
The competition was previously analysed in this thread below in case you missed it:

https://www.nairaland.com/5339413/cowbellpedia-2019-return-jessey-uche-nwichi

Coincidentally, two familiar foes; Jeessey Uche-Nwichi and Oluwafemi Adeyanju were put in the same group of 6 in the first prelim. Jessey Uche-Nwichi had emerged as the Junior champion two years ago and Olufemi Adeyanju was the first runner up to him that same 2 years ago.

Every edition usually present 6 participants and only 2 can emerge to the next stage. Thus, the pressure is expected to be high on these young students.

The 6 contestants in the first prelim for the Senior category were;

1. Alabi Anita from Gloryland Secondary School, Edo
2. Falodun Ayokunle from The Federal University of Technology Staff School, Ondo
3. Irogbama Uyiosa from Graceland International College, Port-Harcourt
4. Ouwafemi Adeyanju from Jesuit Memorial College, Port-Harcourt
5.Shankyula Simeon from Mount Saint Gabriel Secondary School, Benue
6. Uche- Nwichi Jessey from Graceland International School, Port- Harcourt

After round 1 of the quiz show, the result below was obtained.

Business / Re: MTN Nigeria Drags FIRS To Tribunal Over Taxation Of N330bn Fine by rman: 6:14pm On Aug 05, 2019
FarahAideed:

A fine is a cost of doing business and is derived from operational income at gross so you can't say it's not deductable.. You Nigerians think you are smart ..when I warned that the fine was very short sighted people like you thought otherwise and now the govt seeing it has shot itself in the foot is now resorting to self help in a bid to have it's cake and eat it .

Now ask yourself if a fine leads to financial loss will the company still pay tax? If that fine had lead to MTN winding up ( it could have ) Will Babatunde Fowler still tax them .. that taxes are charged strictly on profits should tell you FIRS is being criminal and silly

God bless you FarahAideed.

I read most of your comments on the mtn vs the government dilemma and I agree with your posts 100%.

The man has done the right thing.

It's sad that he allowed things to get to this stage. He has a problem and did nothing about it. He is both a sex addict and a sexual predator.

But is he a rapist? I doubt. Busola told a tale that was so weak that only people that love those plotless Nollywood movies could swallow. She also left out tonnes of her history that would have made less discerning minds smell a rat.

He raped you, took your virginity and left your house. You did not scream to awaken your sisters who were fast asleep. Then when your sisters woke up from sleep you greeted them "Good morning" and said nothing. What happened to the blood that emanated from a virgin rape? No doubt you cleaned the sofa up before your sisters woke up. After all this he still raped you a few more times and your rapists cousin who is only person who could have corrobated your story(according to you, you told him after you started dating) is dead now.

I also wonder why you chose to go out with your rapists cousin. Let me not go further and mention you said you left the church but did not reveal to us that you later returned and even followed your rapist from Ilorin to set up the church in Abuja. You also did not tell us that your rapist wed you to Timi after two children out of wedlock.Choir Master and Choir Mistress

You chose this rape allegation to shield yourself from backlash because the world would have mocked you like Ese if you told them you and the pastor were actually in a relationship.

Although the man is reaping what he has sown, I don't believe he sowed rape. Apparently he has been sleeping with his followers ever since ilorin and it was public knowledge. You were one amongst many. Kudos.

Let the chemical reactors who lack analytical abilities continue reacting. One day they will be falsely accused also and cry because no-one will believe them

You have an analytical mind and a high IQ.
Majority of Nigerians are highly emotional and with low emotional intelligence. This issue has made me understand why a lot things are the way they are in Nigeria.
Everyone just followed the crowd without asking for more evidence or bothering to look deeper. They responded only based on what was presented to them.

I agree with your post 100% because it is closer to the truth and reality more than the deliberate story planted in people minds. And they all fell for it

How did you leave your initial job?

The woman conclusion about you may not be connected with how you worked with her but how you left the job. You may not have known type of buttons she has been pressing because of you, only for you to tender your resignation. At least, she accommodate your inadequacies while you worked with her without reporting you or recommending that you should be sent back to your outsourced company.

Sometimes we need to reflect on recommendations that people gave on us. The woman comment might just be the best description of who you are as at the period you worked with her, because you are not the only new recruit in the same situation. You might be surprised to know how many people in your situation that the woman has experienced. God may have allow that mistake to happen for you to hear and make amend for possible future better offer coming your way. Don't live in self defense and denied blaming your attitude to work on your situation. Who knows whether that has also been the reason you are yet to get or sustain a good job after you left the initial one.

Now from your narration, you have support from your parent, your colleagues and supervisors and you cannot survive with their supports for a month. And I am sure the support comes more than once until everybody realized that you are just what the woman described you to be and stop giving you support. Secondly, you sometimes absent yourself from work, come to work late, don't meet your target, etc. Seriously, your condition wasn't the cause but your attitude to work. There are thousands of people who are in worst situations than you and survive the one and half months before pay. Moreover, if you have good attitude to work, relate well with people in the branch (operations and marketing staff), and not selective in assigned work, you can't be complaining of lack of support.

Though you might have been a changed person now, but at as that period of time the woman description of you is just the best description of who you are. My brother, think about it and make positive adjustments. May I also tell you never to include her as reference or better exclude that experience from your CV.

I wish you better job and new life to work.

Honest feedback and you speak my mind too. Respect!

It’s appalling really.
Same peeps will come and say foreign companies are cheating them by making profits here and sending it to investors abroad.
Now they have been compelled to list on Nigerian stock exchange at least which means their transactions will now be public knowledge.
And peeps can now make informed decisions to buy or not.
But what do I read from our youths? Poor comments.

If this were to be a Tonto Dike or Naira Marley topic, I will understand. But this is a very important topic that can have far reaching implications on a critical sector of our economy but they still cannot reason that out.

HOW TO IDENTIFY RUNS GIRLS;

Wigs are to camouflage her identity when in club house or other places she normally hangout to catch potential clients.

You observe she has some tiny (razor-like) markings close to her vagina:
Professional runs girl ( just like professional armed robbers) often seek spiritual protections and prosperity in their work. This diabolical protection is mostly done by cutting a slight flesh close to the vagina, through which concoctions are insert. Some of this works like a charm in a man once you get in, you can't leave until you are milked dry, while some maybe for protection from ritualist , occultist e.t.c

She has a poor or average income, but she manages to afford a comparatively affluent lifestyle without family support.
Who pays for it? Is she surviving on a financial loan?

She constantly reminds you of the things that she’s done for you:
Especially of the sex she provided for you. What else can she do for you except provide her ‘special’ orifices for you
on demand? For her you should be grateful for the skilled services she provided for you, since she has done a better job than what her competitors would her given you.

She berates and criticizes girls who date men below them in social and economic status:
You hear them say things like 'why on earth will a fine girl like that be dating that small ratchet boy'. Ask her what's her business, her business is that it's a waste of resources to see a poor guy digging that money making pot for free, when their are big men out there ready to pay for it.

She rates men on their income, social status and influence (disregarding character):
If she idolizes rich and ‘successful’ men of questionable character, it shows where her priorities lie. A little attention from such men is enough for her to pull down her panties for them.

In public even when she is with you, she still keep staring at other men:
Just as some guys (even when with their babes) still stares at other women butt (especially when it's bigger than their babes), that's same way a covert prostitute even when with her so called boyfriend stares at other guy she think is richer. The only different is that she stares the potential maga straight into his eyes, and hoping the dude catches the gaze (signal)

She’s obsessed about money and excessively materialistic:
The classic prostitute mind set: she talks money, thinks money, eats money, sleeps money. This woman can easily be
seduced with offers of money, and sometimes even asks for it. She never refuses offers of cash gifts. Money will open her legs and give her gina tingles faster than any other thing.

HOW TO KNOW A RUNS GIRL;

There are certain signs that must be kept in mind to identify such women , because such women isn’t really the type you’d be looking for, especially when it comes to seeking loyalty within a relationship. Her loyalties are basically reserved for the highest bidder; and if you fail to bid consistently, you’ll lose her in the end.
So here are some signs you must observe:

She despises poverty, and more so of men who have low paying jobs:
She easily get annoyed and abusive while dealing with poor men ( taxi driver, barrow pusher, e.t.c ). Her hatred of poverty reminds her of her own desperate circumstances at one time. Even though women are hypergamous by nature, most women don’t despise poor men as long as he is working to earn something. Runs girl however see no ‘customer’ potential in such men.

She makes it a routine to request for something (maybe monetary) before giving you sex:
This type of girls are so cunning in their dealing, when they first starts a date with a potential costumer, they will give you frequent great sex(they are very good in bed) without requesting anything in return at least for a week or less. When she has succeeded in blowing off your mind in bed ( that period you starts behaving like a small pikin) ,then gradually she reduce the fun ( to make you beg for it) to a reluctant transactional chore she performs for you only when you have done something for her first (usually something of monetary value). Sex now becomes a reward in the relationship.

She frequently uses the word Ashawo, slut and LovePeddler to describe her friends or women she doesn’t like:
If you have been to a brothel and observe where prostitutes quarrel or fight, one word you always hear them call themselves is "Ashawo" . This is because what they do in their life relives in their mind. She’s simply projecting onto others what she has done and been called before by others.

She openly tells you she doesn't trust her friends around you , but still doesn't want to leave them:
Birds of same feathers flies together. She gets upset and paranoid(ask a lot of questions) anytime you tell her you met one of her girlfriends. She is only trying to protect her money making machine from her fellow tigers (they are all in same business). To her friends she will be like "go get your own maga bitch".

She boasts and prides herself of her sexual skills and how men are attracted to her and also she is openly jealous of beautiful women:
She knew that the only thing she is good at is sex, and she will always brag about it , like how all her ex are still calling and begging her because of it. She says all this to upgrade her low self esteem and to make you feel jealous of losing her while she milks you dry. If you are observant enough you will also notice her envy against younger and more beautiful women whom she tries to demean.

She tends to be usually ‘busy’ within the week without explaining what ‘busy’ is. ‘Busy’ is the code word for booked or reserved, a term commonly used by prostitutes. A normal girl will rather tell you directly what she’s doing to postpone plans, instead of using the ambiguous, business-like ‘busy’ , when we all know she doesn't work or go to school during the weekend.

She is known by multiple names among people. Her guy friends call her with different names, or she asks you to address her by a name which is not her real name. Also: she has multiple cell numbers. If your "Chizzy" is called as "Rossy" by some other guy and called as jessy by another, it means that those names are her work alias. Runs girls doesn’t want to be known by their real name to protect their identity. Multiple cell numbers are obvious: one is for personal or casual use, the other one is for official or ‘work’ (prostitution) use.

you happen to find stuff like wigs of several colours, length and styles in her wardrobe:
Who carries or keeps stuff like that? Only experienced professionals.

Its ridiculous to even think the way that dude reason.

Tell you a story about our crazy nigerian people in the working environment.

i got a job as machine operator in one of those FMCG less than 2 months after NYSC and the job role specify I will operate and carry out maintenance on machine. I Did and passed the interview with the admin and I negotiated between 75-100k with the admin.

When I got to the head of the department I am assigned to, the proud and heartless HOD citing my CV and realised I dont really have the experience in the plant, cut that salary to 40k. I pleaded and bargain with him, told him I was negotiating between 75 and 100k with the admin. He refuted and clearly stated he can approve nothing more than 40k. To add 10k hard this man as if he is the one paying the salary.

All in the name of little beginning like that guy said, I took the meagre salary and started working.
Guess what, I was being used more or less as a factory worker. Nothing to add to my experience. I regret taking the job.

We should be mindful of what we want for ourselves. Years of little beginning would have made sense if you are getting experience and not just working for some peanut.

By the way, I am leaving the job next month.
I didn't spend close to 7 years studying engineering in this crazy country plus NYSC to be used as factory worker.

Please leave immediately if don’t have immediate financial issues
Your beginning was exactly like mine almost 12 years ago. I studied engineering too and got a job almost immediately after NYSC for 25k a month.
I resumed and was basically been used as a factory worker, I left just after two weeks!
Almost a month later, I was successful in an interview process with a telecoms servicing firm, 6 months into that role , I joined one of the main guys earning more than 250k a month.

See the big difference knowing your worth can make. The guys I left behind did not acquire any specific skills and spent almost 7 years without anything to show.

Know your worth but you must also be ready to defend the wages you ask for in terms of service
