Health / Re: Does Alcohol Contribute Anything To The Body. by Rmc1(m): 5:17pm On May 29, 2010
Alcohol can make a person put on weight, when you drink alcohol, it releases a hormone in brain which triggers acute hunger for food and the tendency to eat uncontrolably when drunk, this leads to weight gain and  pot belly in men.(most fat in men are stored in the belly region)

Alcohol can also make you stay longer during sexx before you releasse or reach orgarsm depending on the kind of hot drink and how much you take lol.

Alcohol can also make you relax and forget your sorrows infact you can drown your problems in alcohol only to meet them again when the effects of the alcohol dries up hehe  grin

Lastly it damages the liver, if you drink alcohol on a daily basis or regularly, try and do a liver (blood) test in any laboratory and you will be shocked at how damaged your liver is and at the poor state of your liver  lipsrsealed

Religion / Re: Chicken With Four Legs: Evidence Of Juju? by Rmc1(m): 12:08am On May 25, 2010
viaro:

As an asides (maybe not related to the thread), what did you mean by the highlighted? At what point in the separation of the ovaries into 2 being stopped would the result become 4 legs? How do you explain that?

The process of the ovary seperating into 2 is  is highly determined by the genes and DNA of a mammal and to answer your question there are usually changes in the DNA of a cell and this is caused by external factors like radiation, viruses, bacteria, transposons, and mutagentic chemicals as well as various errors that occur during dna replication. in a nut shell nature is not perfect.

I am not an expert in that feild, but still remember what i learnt in school, but one thing i know for sure it is not juju or witch craft!!! I JUST HOPE THE REAL EXPERTS WILL COME AND CLEAR THE AIR AND MYSTERY
Religion / Re: Chicken With Four Legs: Evidence Of Juju? by Rmc1(m): 11:19pm On May 24, 2010
It is now very clear that civilization really met a lot of nigerians and africans who are still living in their 1200 century  mentality by surprise chai !!!! Must every odd thing that happens be attributed to witches and juju? That chick with four legs occured as a result of genetic defects or genetic disorder a process where the ovaries is about to seperate into 2 but the process is stopped along the line thats why the chick ended up with 4 legs

What nigerians need now is more education, better information,  elightenment and please if we have any specialist in the house they should not look the other way and ignore the thread they should come and educate the people. like some one said earlier, if not for civilisation and mary slesor, twins children would still be killed in nigeria. ignorance, semi- litaracy and illitracy is a disease!!!

Mekusxyz:

Oyo, Imo, Ogun, others lead in armed robbery
By Yusuf Alli Published Today News Rating: Unrated
Armed robbery cases are more pronounced in seven of the 36 states, it was learnt yesterday.

The states are Oyo, Imo, Ogun, Kano, Cross River, Rivers and the (FCT).Federal Capital Territory
The crime figures, which are contained in the 2008 Report of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), are based on cases reported to the police as at the end of 2007.

The breakdown of the armed robbery cases in the seven states, as at 2007 ending, is as follows: Oyo (224); FCT (172); Imo (176); Rivers (145); Cross River (137); Kano (108); and Ogun (107).

But while Lagos State recorded a drastic fall in armed robbery cases from 300 to 70, eight states had less than 28 armed robbery incidents.

The states are: Gombe(27); Benue(27); Plateau(26); Kwara(25); Sokoto(24); Jigawa(16); Kebbi(20); and Yobe(20).

The ratings of others are: Abia(89); Adamawa(96); Akwa Ibom(88); Anambra(96); Bauchi(41); Bayelsa(52); Borno(41); Delta(63); Ebonyi(51); and Edo(79).

Others are Ekiti(85); Kaduna(40); Katsina(31); Kogi(41); Nasarawa(36); Niger(32); Ondo(58); Osun(51); Taraba(80);

Although it could not be ascertained why the 2007 figure for Enugu State was not listed, a source said: "we had 44 cases for the state as at 2006."

The source in the NBS, who spoke in confidence with The Nation, said the figures are "the current official records/data which any institution or person could work with."

"We based our statistics on the five-year data provided by the Nigeria Police Force and the period in question had covered 2003 to 2007 for comparison. But the latest figure will be that of 2007 which we have produced as a report that is already in circulation in government and public.

"We got far-reaching statistics from the police including the numbers of persons arrested; those prosecuted for robbery; suspects awaiting trial; civilians killed by armed robbers; armed robbers killed by the police; the injured robbers; and cases pending investigation.

"The statistics is not meant to ridicule any state but it will assist those with high crime rates to improve on their security network. For the police in particular, it would allow them to take stock and strengthen their operation in flash-points," the source added.

The report said: "The Data on public order are sourced from the Nigeria Police Force. They cover crimes, road accident cases and casualties, armed robbery cases and involvement, vehicles stolen and recovered, court cases, juvenile cases and bank frauds."

yara don kpai , he was a gentle man but surrounded himself with wolves,  and sychophants who were out to rutlessly, and mercilessly loot the  national treasury. this made majority of nigerians hate and turn against yaradua, The 6 months suspense of his state of health by turai was the last straw that did d final damage.

While our politicians are busy looting the economy in the billions of naira and travelling first class with their families to shop in usa, and europe, poor nigerians are being crushed by plane tyres what a saga!!

All international flights should install cameras in their tyre wells,  and send air marshalls to contoll their tyre wells b4 take off to avoid future occurences.

Kudos to ethiopia for this achievment. But $15,000 dollars is more on the high side, the question is how many poor ethiopans or africans can afford a $15,000 car? I remember india produced a $2,000 car recently . but all the same ethiopia tried.
Politics / Re: I'm Sure Of Winning In 2011 - Babangida by Rmc1(m): 10:22am On Apr 18, 2010
IBB will loose woefully come 2011 he will get the disapointment of his life, except if he plans to rig the election. even that wont work because 150million nigerians do not want babangida and will resist him .

IBB during  his 8yr tyranical rule, stole $12billiondollars, incured loans from IMF in billions of dollars which incured interest in billions, and it took the goodwill of ngozi okonjo iweala/obj to pay off these loans and even save foreign reserves amounting to over  50billion dollars in our foreign reseves account. It is clear that IBB wants to come back and loot what is left in our foreign reserves.

In any normal country, IBB should be in jail and be banned from any public office not to talk of contesting for the presidency.
Politics / Re: Ibb- Nigeria’s Break-up Impossible. by Rmc1(m): 2:54am On Apr 18, 2010
IBB will definitly loose in 2011, no sane nigeria will vote for  IBB except he already has plans to rig the election even that plan will fail.
