This is so disheartening! So our Security Apparatus has cowed before these bombers! After 9/11, how many clubs closed in NY? Why will our 6/16 be different, Haba ![]() |
mens dept:In your mind, you think you know everything, abi? When did the Senate reconvene? Don't you know that the Senate must screen the nominees before appointment by the President is announced? If GEJ makes the Senate stay back to work on the ministerial list, you will complain that he is interfering with the Judiciary, Boy, grow up! |
Goodluck to you Minz, I wish you well in your relationship. On lighter note ![]() As it is in Nollywood films ''''To God be the Glory""" End of Part 2 ![]() |
@bashdecash What is violent about this thread? Simple discussions and articulation of ideas and you are getting worked up! I believe that Islam is a beautiful religion and that is why Muslims in S/Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, Indonesia, Malaysia do not attack Christians in these countries. But here in Nigeria, I am beginning to understand that Muslims here get worked up when ideas are discussed. I have followed Jamalah's pieces and he has not called anyone names and even challenge you to propose any point against his historical facts but you always get worked-up as if there is a quarrel. Now you claim this thread is going to start another fresh killings (implied, since you said it is not peaceful). Down here in South, we reason, we talk, we don't fight over religion. Let me lend my voice to this argument, those issues you mentioned happen down south are what everyone and including you call "Social Vices" and not killings in the name of "Allahu Akbar". In the burning of criminals you mentioned that happens down south, have you ever heard the people set someone on fire "in the name of Jesus"? The killings in the north are not Social and selective but Religious because they do it so well and then chant "Allahu Akbar". As a Muslim, (please educate me), when is Allah great? Is it only at the point of killings or always (as He is Infinitely and Everlastingly Great)? Please, look at the issues raised by Jamalah and if you are truthful to simple logical reasoning, accept that this is a fault on your part and resolve to be a part of the solution. That is by helping those around you up there who may not have a balanced understanding of Islam to see that Islam and the Holy Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is all about peace, love, progress and brotherliness. History is there to educate us and everyone including yourself is free to investigate any subject of Interest that occurred in the past. Even today, men are still studying the life and times of Saladin (he was regarded as a Prince in Medieval Europe). And Jamalah is eminently qualified to look into reason so that we do not repeat the mistake of the past and believe you me, this is the only reason why he is doing this. He has not done it because he is a detective or a judge. Again, everyone is free to investigate or judge historical records for better enlightenment of the present. Or in you whole life or in any book you have read or in any culture you may have been, have you ever seen anyone who is sued in the law court for Character Defamation or Libel or Scandal because he/she investigated History and published his findings? Show me one and I shall tender and reserved apology to you. I counsel you in the spirit of love, brotherliness and peace to think again, Do not get angry but get disappointed enough to be part of the solution. Every Nigerian hopes that Muslims even in the North should practice their religion unfettered and be happy but that Non-Muslims living among them should not have the emotional fear of whenever they hear "Allahu Arkbar" then then end has come for them. I wish you well and great peace! Shalom. |
I will not vote because Chime, Amaechi, Danjuma Goje is not on that list, What of Godswill Akpabio? |
APGA does not have a strong political leadership! Its current Chairman is as weak. I fear for RAO. I think he will drift back to the PDP. Don't forget, he contested for the Presidential ticket in PDP 2ice. Recently, the Deputy Speaker went with a strong delegation to Imo State. Maybe that is the assignment given to him before he was 'forgiven' by the PDP for contesting the Speaker-ship of the house against the wishes of the PDP, time will tell. A strong Igbo man politically, who can really wield the Igbos outside the PDP box is CNN but he is ACN. How I wish he can make it to the APGA. RAO should wake up and begin to politically govern. |
Ok, thanks for the info |
EzeUche!:I think your elementary geography is poor. Define a delta and see if these two states are in the Delta Region. The states you mentioned are in the Western Delta (except Rivers), how about the Eastern Delta?? Please, reconfirm and get back to me. |
![]() Martian:Wahala dey oh ![]() |

Nollywood take note! |
Na wa for Nigerians oh! Water, Psalm 23 & 91, Dreams, Witchcraft, Pastor, Abeg, is your state now paying the minimum wage? This is what is troubling us now. Also, join in your prayers, this Boko Haram issue, the bombings is too much oh, abi Pastor no fit give us solution? |
CRA Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi |
Nothing is wrong with Goodluck Ebele Jonathan! Goodluck Nigeria! |
Emperoh forget that mad man! I think he is a product of "free" education. No Character, Okija Juju you speak well. Once again, Emperoh you speak like the gods, the truth! |
The insincerity of past governments not withstanding, i doubt the workability of this directive@Emperoh: Thank you, Many Nigerians are just emotional and sentimental. Free education is good but not without quality education. Even in Rivers State (with all the money they have), Gov. Amaechi had to send a bill to the State Assembly to pass a law for a Mandatory Contributory Levy in order to get money to sustain those beautiful primary schools he built for free education. We wait to see how RAO runs free education in Imo State. I also wait to see how IMSU turns out. I dey laugh oh! |
Good Post there! I understand that ISLAM is a BEAUTIFUL religion and I think it is so judging from my interactions with educated Muslims from the north living and working here. But they should go back and educate their kith and kin to stop the violence. |
I think this is propaganda! |
When Nigerians speak, they are in a hurry! TAke it or leave it, Buhari will NOT do better in a democratic setting! Do you expect GEJ to send everyone to jail in NASS becasue of the salary issues? No, to Do that is to kill democracy because the Legislature is the only symbol of democracy, and that is why he refused to sign the appropriation when they tampered with it. This he did to expose them to their own game, any other ploy will not have yielded this result we are currently watching. Again, there were members of other polical parties in the NASS who took that money when it is illegal to appropriate money outside the law, why didn't they cry out to Nigerians? *Will Buhari today (if President), order the killing of Innocent Nigerians in "Bornostan" because he is looking for Boko Haramites? *Will Buhari today order the closure of the Nigerian Police Force because they are inefficient? *Will Buhari today, order PHCN to start giving Nigerians Power when the infrastructures to do same is not physically on ground? *Will Buhari today order that there should be Constitutional Changes that will make states that generate electricity to distribute same in order to make power available to those states. *Will Buhari today? *Will Buhari today catch all those corrupt persons and throw them to jail without first establishing evidences against them and then go to court and allow the court processes. *Will Buhari come down to Rivers State or SE to fight the kidnappers w/o the Police, SSS, etc. What happens if Buhari is here today? I believe someone may answer these questions. A good leader does not talk any how but makes statement and GEJ is making a statement |
Yes, Free Education indeed, It was a tactical error to order a refund! As for IMSU, let him prepare to graduate half baked students! This is a political statement and political action, he has not told us how he intends to sustain this free education. Slashing Security Vote is not enough. How about the infrastructures in these schools. How will IMSU get money to be a real university and not a glorified secondary school? IMSU till date is still on the temp. site and RAO is being political about this. I fear for RAO and Imo. |
I honestly believe that under this dispensation, Buhari can not do much about corruption. Corruption in Nigeria is systemic. For example, what will Buhari do about the Nigerian Police? Will he sack all of them or jail all of them. What about the judiciary? Will he jail them too. How about PHCN and the NNPC? If you jail everyone like NLs are talking, who runs Nigeria ??So forget about Buhari worship and lets focus on building Nigeria and building strong institutions. |
@Jakumo: Thanks for the info sha. But Arik should be very careful oh! We are watching youuu ![]() |
@Lucabraski All African believe that there is witchcraft or Wizardry and that there are witches and wizards! No doubt. Again, we all believe that it is a matter of choice to participate in it or not as an adult. Therefore, if my great grandfather was a witch doctor, it does not make me one as long as I have rejected to do it. It stops there. Now let us come to the kids! I always ask these people who have "children witches" how come? My question to you is Do you believe that your sweet baby is (or can become) a witch ![]() |
nanidee2:@Nanidee2 Do you believe that your own child (your sweet baby) can become a witch? |
A 1:Train up a child well, so if you train a child to become a witch, she will come out to say she is a witch! If you ever meet a child witch, look for the parents or guardians of the child (they may hide under the gait of Christians), they are the Parent Witch. |
If this is true, may God help this joker!!!! ![]() |
Good One Indeed from the RCCG Pastor, Thanks so much. How I wish many pastors will begin to follow suit. Let them build social services. Now to its operation, even Mission Hospitals/Schools in the developed world are not free. A hospital is capital intensive. Equipment need to be refurbished regularly and all that. But it should be regulated. The hospital may get support from the church and I believe that the RCCG will support it fully so that it becomes a good source of meeting the health needs of Nigerian Men/Women. Once again, I commend the RCCG and its Senior Pastor. This is good. |
Donlittle:My broda, I wonda for people oh! |
i think I agree small small, Come to Rivers State and see what a primary school should look like. I can vow upon my honour, that the current primary schools in Rivers state can even beat some of the elitist private schools in lagos. You just need to see the current Health Care Centres built by Amaechi PDP, I bet you many govt. hospitals can never come close to it. Then the roads, its a wonder! |
Na Calabar! The City is just too much, as you approach Calabar, it just welcomes you, you feel it! Everything there welcomes you. |
