Please, Dear God, give this governor the grace/wisdom to actualise this. Let this project not die due to poilitical manipulations of budgeting and money stealing. Please, God, let Light arise and darkness disappear in Enugu State and let it flow to to other states like Anambra, Ebonyi, Imo, Abia and even Benue. Dear God, let the Holy Ghost fire consume any witch, devil, evil men, thieves (in the name of contractors). Let them fall and die by fire, in Jesus Name!

Mr Hefner was to marry Crystal Harris, who was featured in the magazine as Playmate of the Month in December 2009, on Saturday.

LAUTECH: Aregbesola assures students…says institution still belongs to Osun, Oyo States

OSOGBO-Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has assured students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, that the two owner states of Oyo and Osun will soon issue a joint statement to end the crisis rocking the institution.

The governor gave the assurance yesterday while receiving students of LAUTECH on a peaceful protest to the state secretariat over the closure of the institution.

The deputy governor, Mrs. Titi Laoye-Tomori, who represented the governor, explained that discussions were on between the two governors to resolve the problems.

Governor Aregbesola promised that soon the lingering problems would be a thing of the past and implored the students to be law abiding while putting forward for their demands.

The governor who described as blatant lie the statement credited to the Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH that the institution had been taken over by Oyo State, declared that “LAUTECH belong to both Oyo and Osun state governments and nothing can change it.” He restated that the fees increased by the former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Alao Akala was null and void.

Earlier, the spokespersons of the students, Mr. Abiola Adejare and Mr. Oyewumi Opeyemi, appealed to Osun and Oyo state governors to consider their plights and resolve their differences to enable them write their examinations.

They told the governor that the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, MDCN, had given the final year students an ultimatum to graduate on or before June 10, 2011. The students added that by the end of June, the accreditation of LAUTECH would have lapsed.

Now, the other day, ARO was on TV in one Secondary School in Imo State teaching Economics. The infrastructure was really in a bad shape and ARO also complained that the teachers were not in school as at 9.00am,

Now, free education must involve a good learning environment, well motivated teachers and enough "kudi". I do not think that 6.5B Naira will achieve this in a state like Imo that is has Education as the only visible Industry!!!

I wait to see how ARO will do this magic without asking the people to pay some kind of money.
