Kaycee7:
You're stereotyping anyone who says they won't help carry the bag as archaic, uncaring and unromantic. But when someone stereotyped them as wimps, you wouldn't have that. That goes to show how uncivilized and childish you are. If you have an opinion, be bold enough to state it. If you want others' opinion, be intelligent enough to accept them. Don't masquerade your opinion as a suggestion.

Nuff Said.

old school village man from the 17th century. Take a look at the pics accompanying the thread, what happened to the hands of the ladies? Answer is nothing, it's a fun way of saying I love u grin
Ok na, there are a million ways to say and show love and I'm not going to carry any woman's handbag unless in very rare and exceptional cases where she's indisposed to do so herself. I'm 17th century village man, no lele. grin
Celebrities › Re: Alibaba: People Who Wanted Keshi Fired Now Paying Tribute by ronald4lif(m): 2:04pm On Jun 08, 2016
Nonsense. He should stop sensationalising his death. People wanted him fired doesn't mean they didn't wish him well or death. They just felt he wasn't performing well with the team and wanted a replacement. Attention seeker.

because you carry her hand bag, you are a wimp? Guy, you need help.
As asked earlier, what happened to her hands? And why will I carry her handbag when she isn't indisposed to do so herself? Your idea of romance isn't same with everyone so respect dissenting opinion. Kapisch?
Romance › Re: Photo Ladies, Can You Do This To Your Man? by ronald4lif(m): 1:23am On Jun 08, 2016
I won't and I don't want it done on me either. The act of cunnilingus and fellatío is demanding enough so foot-worshipping shouldn't add to the stress biko.

Amefrica:
Tell me about it bro. I am at work as I type this now, I have been here for the past 6 hours and I have 4 more hours to go. I leave home when it is still kinda dark and get home when it is dark sometimes, you are now asking me to set you up with shoe business from Dubai. If I was able to I would be self-employed too bruh. Dubai ko, Mumbai ni grin

They never want to understand. I bought a car and they saw it on Facebook, they started saying "Kunle is very stingy, if you see his car eh, and he just forgot all of us - can't even send money to someone" Like, car is nothing here, they are super-cheap, and it is kind of a necessity. Walking to and fro from work after missing buses in the cold is no joke. I just pray and keep praying they understand. I might have to distance myself from friends when I go home next year. They might even arrange thieves to come to where you are staying sef grin
Haha, its like we are both in similar situation as I'm presently at work too. Just finished and handing over to my next colleagues and I've to walk for like 10mins to the tube station to catch a train and then bus home. A journey that will take me about an hour but should have been less if I were driving but couldn't coz the parking charges in central city where I work is half my daily paycheck, so would better walk home than stress all day only to give 50% of my wages to the tax man. grin It's past midnight and I do this 6days a week and after I offset all my monthly bills I end up with 'pittance' as my savings isn't in concomitant with the stress. It's not easy.

You know what I've said to myself is I wish securing visas was easy I'd have volunteered to sponsor the visa application of any friend who repeatedly ask me for money, to come and let's hustle and see how easy it is to make money. But the embassies requirements aren't helping in this regard.

In Naija, cars aren't just a need but a luxury and a way to show off as opposed to it being a necessity in the West. Life without one is unimaginable and it cost nothing to buy one. The cost to ship/clear a car to Nigeria is equal or more than buying one here but once you have one they think you don hammer.

I have many friends that their incessant demands of money anytime I try to keep in touch has made me withdrawn and kinda living in seclusion. Each time I chat them up is always about one monetary demands or another. I just find it really sad that I can't relate with my old time buddies like we used to without having to experience money pleas all the time.

Amefrica:
LOL that is actually true. I received a facebook message from an old friend a couple of months back, guess what he told me? That he want to start going to Dubai to import stuffs, like Nigga if I had that kind of money I would have opened a shoe store in Nigeria too. Someone also asked me to pay his 150, 000 naira school fees. Like y'all need to relax, I'm not even that rich yet. I work 10-12 hours a day to make sure I get to save after paying bills and send money home towards the completion of my house. grin grin
Haha, like you don't know the way to Dubai and not interested in importation. It's really funny how some peeps thinks that once you're living abroad you should be wealthy and can do away with hundreds of thousands without blinking an eye.

I thought this mentality should have wane off by now that the world has been citified with most families having one or more relatives abroad, be it close or distant relatives. How much do these their diasporan siblings gives them that they should expect so much from friends?

The stress one goes through daily, sometimes having to wake up at the wee hours of dawn when the temperatures is biting isn't something to just part away with money like that. The bills are too much, only rents for one year can put up a 3bed bungalow. Sometimes you work and struggle just to offset these household bills. These friends hardly understands and whatever explanation you give seem to fall on deaf ears hence its best to maintain a distance from them.

You really love this girl but doesn't seem like your love and efforts are being appreciated. To place her on a bi-weekly budget shows how much you care.

I think she's playing you, make out time asap and pay her a visit then arrange with some neighbour, pay them and let them keep an eye on her movement. You need to be sure she ain't playing you before you invest more than you can afford on her.

I am contemplating taking a hidden camera to her apartment fix it and study her every move from my phone....don't care how much it would cost me.
Have you been to her apartment of recent and how long did you stay? How about making friends with a neighbour and offer the person tip-off to monitor her movement or ask if anyone has been visiting her and staying over the night?

[/b] haba! How sure are you to conclude that is the ONLY reason? There are countless things that might cause this. Dont be too sure because everyone's pain is unique to that person alone.
Perhaps, that didn't come out right but it's likely the reason why her phones her off every night. What else could be the reason? Every night?

dante300:
Damn.....oh my God....I hope not ....hmmm.
Pal, if she was doing it once in a while that should have been understandable but every night is suspicious. She could be cohabbing with some other dude.

I have been in distance relationships and whenever I have someone visiting either weekends or longer I never make or take night calls from bae, sighting flimsy excuses or atimes switch off my phones.

Nothing can keep one busy so much that her phones are always off at nights, something is fishy. Why not pay her a surprise visit or tell her you want to come spend time at her place?
Romance › Re: Her Phone Is Always Switched Off Every Evening by ronald4lif(m): 11:05pm On Jun 07, 2016
She could be living with some other guy and can't talk with you at night hence switch off her phones. That should be the only reason.

Don't think so. It's against the guys code, stay clear your friend's babes, ex or current ones. Personally, I'll cut all ties with a guy who's dating an ex. I'll see him as disloyal and capricious and not to be trusted.

I'm broke and I have never given such excuses; women don't care I exist, so I walk my lane in solemn peace.
ayguru:
You failed to realise that some guys have got pride, which is by default in a man's inbuilt.
Why chase a woman when you know deep down you can't afford to do some little things as a man since you know you aren't capable at the moment?
I would rather stay put in my house alone than roam the streets looking for one girl to toast. Most of the so called rich dudes that even got a GF or married were introduced to them by their friends. Most of the rich dudes don't also have that luxury of time to start chasing women all over.
I won't start what I can't finish and be termed a loser.. I rather make some cool cash before venturing into the relationship world.....And by then also, I am not looking to date a Gold Digger but a made woman also
My nigga, na una way sure pass. To be broke alone is a humongous challenge needless to add women and their wahala to our problems. I think guys should know when to have a girlfriend and when to keep their distance from relationship.

It's a distraction and only compound one's problems. Earlier we all realise that money is like the fuel that ignites romance and keep a relationship bubbling the better and the end to the lamentations.

Yes, I'll pay back in similar fashion so she doesn't misbehave next time. I'll so get her in the mood and on the verge of penetration would just say I lost the lustre and no more in the mood.

I'm sure there won't be a repetition after his pay-back? That's how it should be.
