Mr. Toks you have a disjointed view about single mum and I think that's borne out of ignorance. A single mum deserves men of equal status just like single ladies and there are blizzard of marriages between single mums and men without kids. Your assertion of single ladies looking into the direction of single daddies for companionship is not only berating but portrays them as rejects and further stigmatise them in the society. The world evolves beyond Nigeria where such mentality exist and understands that there are better core values to look out for in a woman than motherhood status. We consciously harangue single mums and makes them feel dejected but would also dismiss the idea of abortion. I understand a woman shouldn't get pregnant outside wedlock but there would always be accidental pregnancies and if we're to chide single mums then expect the rate of abortion to grow. Let's be careful of what we wish for. And just a quick question; should single dad stop looking at single ladies and focus more on single mums too? |
Monalisa185:Yea perhaps. I see you're a man united fan. I am too but I'm thinking of giving up my membership. ![]() |
softappless:This doesn't seem like bashing, it's an advice to ladies on the type of men they should burked, and the points were rightly spot on. Let's even assume it was bashing, anything wrong with that? We have had seamless thread created by members of our gender so a change and having a dose of our invention wouldn't hurt. Would it? |
Monalisa185:I'm good omalicha, thanks. I trust you're same? Ya, I too do read such comments but I laugh it off. Those who harbour such mentality feels discontented that a woman who is 'created' to be in the kitchen preparing food for her hubby, breeding kids, and rigorously performing house chores can be independent and make hay out of their lives without bearing Mrs. To them it is abominable for a woman to attain success without using a man as a springboard in reaching such heights. And in a bid to retaliate the shellacking and self-inflicted injuries on themselves, they'd to attack these successful ladies on what they have earned for themselves by constantly berating them for achieving what they (the men) couldn't achieved. The likes of Genevieve and miss Ikeji and the rest poses no threat to anyone and they are women with rare qualities and who need emulation from young Nigerian women. They have proven that a woman can become successful without marriage. |
Davido has always struck me as an arrogant kid, but that's pardonable given that children who grew up in a family background as his are usually pompous. But what I never knew is that he's supercilious, contemptuous and shamelessly condescending to women. I didn't read his rambling pass the lines where he disparaged a woman who birthed a child he claims to love and adore as unfit for him. For Davido to throw caution to the wind by labelling a woman he tumbled beneath the sheets with for over a year ugly is an affront on his personality. He gave himself away as falling for an 'ugly' person. For the overweening prick to contemptuously berate the mother of his daughter in that manner calling her dirty is an indictment on his personal hygiene that he too must be dirty for engaging in a romance with a 'dirty' lady. The prat have no respect for womenfolk. There are cases where the rich can manipulate laws in their favor but in this case the law is straightforward and can't be twisted. You can't travel with a baby without their mother's consent. The Adelekes might have thought they could have their way coz of their wealth and connection but not this time. On Wizkid and Davido, the former has always been a better, original and cordinated artist. Wizkid would never had berated the mother of her child like that. Davido is not the first baby daddy and that you give her 300k monthly isn't anything to gloat about. You gave the money for your child welfare not for a charity administration. In advanced countries, that amount is nothing for that child upkeep compared to his net worth. I'm completely disappointed at his condescending remarks at his baby mama. |
GodnGold:Gbam. Iji ya nne. Ife anwuru-anwu adiro nma ma ncha. Isi nwata nwoke afu emebi go. ![]() |
Men sha. Always about us and us. You are advocating for polygamy and at same time dismissing polyandry. What kind of selfish and self-centredness is that? You can't condone something but think another should? Then churn out baseless facts and innuendos to drive your point. |
Nice one. You can't force people to love you, they would if they want to. As you're inundating him/her with calls and messages without a reasonable reply they are busy exchanging correspondence with someone they deem better. Why force oneself to another who's completely detached from you? Only to cry later how your emotion was exploited ![]() |
Force him to date her. ![]() |
pleep:Deep, very deep thoughts. I think I share your sentiment in a way. But when one meet a very compatible partner, they wouldn't mind getting married and it wouldn't hinder their 'enjoyment' either. Or what do you think? |
Monalisa185:Single could be in the context that they never wedded but have a long lasting relationship. And there are some women who don't care about marriage nor interested in one. They just want a good companionship. But not the typical African woman I must add. |
pleep:Hahaha, you don't mean it? ![]() |

Too much sense in the president speech. I hope he get things right and bring about a positive change in Nigeria. |
Oliviaarims:Haha, you can't be exactly fine with that emoji. Alright, all of you should get wiser. Fair deal now, init? ![]() I'm good but not particularly fine. Not until you requite a gesture of mine. I trust you know what that means. ![]() |
The Adelekes are lucky they are in a lawless country like Nigeria. You can't detach a baby from her mother without her consent. Where they in a civilised clime Davido would even need permission to see the little baby and might only get a day in a week as the baby is still too young. The uncouth and arrogant David should be told that his wealth can't bend the rules in this case. I was dismayed and completely disappointed to hear him use contemptible names on the lady as if he can mould one. Accusing her of exploiting his youth was a foolish attempt at garnering emotions from his fans. The boy is one arrogant prick. |
Oliviaarims:Lol. No vex you hear, you're not on the league of the sheeple ones guys prey on. How you dey jare? |
Oliviaarims:That would deprive myself and my goons a lot na, you suppose know that kind thing. I was betrayed by my loquaciousness when I wrote that lol. Hehe, okay let's just say let the already wise ones get wiser and the dumb ones kontinuu. Fair play right? ![]() |
Oliviaarims:I feel indifferent about that though. ![]() |
Michellla:How about you lots give us a break when ever there's a football game. Matches last for approximately two hours and excusing us wouldn't bite, does it ![]() |
I don't know which is more funny, the fact that you're still referring to her as girlfriend or that she's banging her 'bestie'. Get some sense, dude. |
BeeMeer:Very apt. |
Mumu, that seems like powder. He should have used carbide. |
firstking01:Hahaha, or we should tell him to give her all his wages/student allowance every month. ![]() |
naijaboiy:Hahaha, epic. Judgment day indeed. ![]() |
falconey:Glad you grasp my comment as I was busy and made lots of errors. There are other core values men should look out for in a woman rather than the sex. Laying too much importance on sex would hamper the number of supply for guys. We should be careful what we wish for as the ladies are reading and digesting. One can meet a lady in club, bang her same night and she ends up having more values than the one who procrastinate it. I understand most guys reason in your direction but this only fuels women pretentious attitude towards sex and restrict our supply. |
daretodiffer:That's one of the reasons I don't envy marriage coz I might easily divorce. There's no point to be married, flirting about while the woman flirts too. And I'll understand her protest if she cheats too but would prefer we split than deceive ourselves. Knowing myself I can hardly stick to one woman and I'm susceptible to fall for some other woman who avail herself. There's no point really. |
falconey:Well, it depends on the guy and their thought process. The examplary cited by you which tend to portray the female as a receiver and male the giver doesn't really connect and its of surface value. You may want to explain further for better assimilation. To the best of my knowledge no one is a receiver or giver in coítal relations. Even if we're to use the ejáculation of semén as a factor, both male and female undergo same process. I think such mentality where we have placed women as receiver is dangerous for us and exactly responsible for their perceived parasitism we love to lament about. It would be for our own good if we can jettison it. True men possess a higher hormones but having a higher hormones doesn't negate the fact that women's own are equally substantial in nature. |
daretodiffer:I can't marry more than a woman but I can keep mistress sha. ![]() |
Falconey, what exact does being easy means? You meet someone today and you have sex next day doesn't mean they are easy. And delaying for months before they give in doesn't mean they weren't easy either. Same way the guy wanted and craved for sex is no different from the way the lady does. So if we're to assess the 'easy' theory fairly we can also assume the guy fell easily for sex too, right? |

...you are right about that... buh talking about the typical African women, don't you think its in a way the fault of the typical African men?
