I think the best for him to do is to leave. If the relationship between the aunt and dad has broken down he's going to feel the brunt. So he should just leave. Was the car meant for transportation? I'm guessing so but it was a poor decision on your dad's part. A lot of those car transport business barely survives. |
adonbilivit:What kind of backward thinking is this? And tomorrow it's your type that would complain that ladies are withdrawn and denying you sex. What do you guys really want? |
lanicky:Please don't think about it o. Let's conserve the status quo biko. Make una no spoil show for mens. ![]() |
The white wedding gown never had anything related to virgin or non virgins. And I've never read this theory of yours anywhere. The wearing of white gown was copied by Christians after former Queen of England Victoria wore a white gown to her wedding. It was never said if she (Victoria) was a virgin at the time. Neither did the Christian doctrine said so. You're just one of the suckers for virgin brides disguising under spurious claims to propagate your (anti-virgin) crusade. |
pinceprinz:You wan dey continue to dey chop without going to her villa abi? Well, e be like na wetin me mah sef want. ![]() |
Well, it's a good counter thread. Fear of taking responsibility and losing grip of his freedom is another one. Since many women have made themselves available a man doesn't actually need to get married to benefits from it reward. Traditionally, there are some female roles in a man's life which are meant to be conjugal but not anymore. I mean if I can have sex with a girlfriend, she fixes my meals and perform most of the house chores, cohabs together and even bear me kids then what's the essence to marry her? We men knows this and also aware that once we legalise the relationship it mounts more pressure to be responsible, restricts our freedom from gambolling from one female to another, increases our monthly finances as the obligation of wifey welfare isn't in effect. Girlfriends financial responsibility can be burked but same can't be said about wife. Perhaps, ladies should cease from making themselves available and providing all these conjugal services and some more men would think about settling down quickly. I hope they don't stop sha. ![]() |
Bird in hand bus stop - somewhere in Chislehurst, south London. Don't know if it's funny but I find the name awkward. They should have completed it 'it's worth more than thousands in the bush' sha. ![]() |
Tamee:I'm not bothered about his action but the outcome of it. His conduct was poor but successful and thus can be overlooked and can regarded as a hindsight. |
eyinjuege:Your questions are very spot on and brought a new dimension to the whole denouement. I think I won't trust him with any of the question asked. His conduct betrays his professional ethics. |
eyinjuege:All these examination on top which matter? Okay, I dey come make I get my exam materials. |

Tamee and Daretodiffer, it appears it's really bored in Britain today? Have you considered a nap? ![]() |

daretodiffer:Yes true, I accept that, was just giving credence to my point. I'd modify asap and thanks for calling that to my attention. About his action being justifiable or not, that's open for seamless debate. |
naijaboiy:Lol. I doubt if they will hold same view had the gender be flipped and it was a guy wanting to infect a lady. I really doubt. ![]() |
daretodiffer:I've read the referred comment. You see, HIV is a very sensitive issue and a serious ailment, nevermind liberal loonies who would say a carrier can live a normal life. We don't know if the lady in question was aware she's a sufferer and if it happens she was privy of her status and insisting on unprotected sex then she's got nothing on the doctor poster. She's a criminal and can also be sued for criminal intent of infecting someone with a mortal disease. On the flip side, if she isn't aware she's a carrier of the 'world most dreaded disease', then the doctor is culpable under criminal law of sedating and withdrawing her blood without her consent. Without losing sight of the issue which led to his action and with the confirmation that his curiosity was positive, that the lady was HIV positive, I hold the strong view that his action was justifiable. It would have been different if she turns out negative. But for me, to dismiss or berate is brave move even as it was a success will be foolish and a tacit support for the, deliberate or unintended, attempt to infect someone with HIV. Both circumstance are different and deserve divergent sifting and analysing. |

francizy:The said picture isn't 'hers' sef. It's allegedly belonging to 'her' kid sis. And the pic might have been lifted from social media and the person unrelated to 'her'. Note that the apostrophy on the character is an indication the gender is mootable. That said, even if the pics are that of 'her' relation 'her' mental stability still need psychiatric evaluation as I'm certain the teenager didn't give her consent to this 'her' acute display of acute schizophrenia. |
Deejavuu:E be like say you this harmattan don affect your body. Nothing to suppress the cold ni? No worry I dey show. ![]() |
francizy:Nwanna, this one is identifiable o. Even a mad fellow will tell this one is insane. ![]() |
Deejavuu:Oh na that one be the problem? ![]() |
Deejavuu:Yes really. The guy did right and wrong but the right outweighs his wrongdoings. This is a HIV we're talking about here, a near death sentence. ![]() |
25omega:You're making sense. How can anyone travel a journey of thousand miles to Nigeria and on arriving declines to see a woman he's pledging love and marriage to, and with an obvious momentous shag to wrap up the excitement. Doesn't seem right. The guy was prolly just bored and chatting her up, and with constant chatting emotions builds up which led to flirtatious messages. The OP then misconstrued the money he sent her as an evidence to his professed love. All I can tell her is if the guy travels back to his base without seeing her this time, the second time, she should move on. |
25omega:Lol. Una no go kill person for here. So hin suppose come chop 'something' abi? ![]() |
Have you tried to see him and he declined? I mean by you visiting him. Perhaps he's married and in Nigeria with his wife, or fiancé? Could it be that he's insecure or something? |
Sagamite:Hahaha, epic response. |
covbrand:I sense you're young, smart and career driven yourself but don't make marriage an urgent goal. A man is supposed to find a wife, right? Let him find you. Just keep going about your daily businesses and functions and developing yourself. Not saying you shouldn't get married as soon as you can afford but don't prioritise it. Let it happen when it is due. You can find him anywhere; at a bus stop, inside a bus, cinema, church/mosque or even at your place of work. Don't just set out to find him, let it be a fluid coincident. |
When you chase her reach 6years you can come for my advice. ![]() |
You said you're not desperate but the message reeks of desperation. When you set out looking for career minded people or any caste of people for marriage then you are desperate. You've to let it happen naturally. In my opinion, one shouldn't seek for marriage, marriage and marriageable partner should find them. Perhaps, this is why marriages keeps collapsing lately like pack of cards. People in their urgent bid to get married, driven by societal pressure and to avoid stigmatisation, fall for an incompatible partner. With your present state of mind, you've avail yourself vulnerable and likely to succumb to relationship/marital advances from just anyone who's financially stable. And with such mindset, your sense of judgment will be rendered ineffective and as a result you won't see the negative side of him. |
iAmCharis:Una don divorce? ![]() |
Tamee:Alright then. |
