PoliticsRe: The Nigerian Army Attack On Biafra: Its Mixed Feelings For Us. by RoyalUc(m): 2:02pm On Sep 12, 2017

How many soldiers were deployed? There is no alternative to peace. War in Nigeria will have far more far reaching effect. Nigeria is not ready to prosecute war on 2 fronts simultaneously.
Shekau is still wanted. The war against Boko haram is still unended. Economic saboteurs are still lurking in the creeks of the Niger Delta to strike and bleed the economy. Nigeria needs wisdom now more than ever.
Is that why a few individuals feel they can hold the entire nation to ransom because of their unbridled hatred for the President?

Will Buhari remain President for ever? For Christ sake, he has spent 2 years and some months in office with a year and some months left, why not patiently wait for him go if you don't like him? Rather they choose to burn the nation and deny other citizens their peace.

Nigerians are indeed animals.

What you have there are not soldiers, they are terrorists send by a Jihardist to harm the innocent.

Real Army protect lives.
"Nigerians are indeed animals."

This the reason Biafra or Nigeria, 'Biafrans' will always have 'enemies.' How do you what others to feel reading this? Yet you'll tomorrow, ask why Nigerians 'hate' you so much.

It wasn't "balanced off", as you put it, because a lot more people on the Biafran side, mostly civilians, died. War isn't a simple maths equation.

Of course it is not. It's about tactics and strategies on how to defeat your enemy.

We don't need that anymore and as a lady, you should be at the forefront...preaching peace and not violence.

u got a strong point, but those Islamic guys got no international recognition. trust me, if war breaks out now, Igbo will lose for any 6 months and they will start buying weapons of their own. Hell, isreal will dash them the thing. but Nigeria will never get weapons from UK, USA or even Russia like b4
How can you put your life on the line base on baseless postulations?

"isreal will dash them the thing. but Nigeria will never get weapons from UK, USA or even Russia" including islamic nations that you people claim support the muslims to islamize Nigeria?

We might think we are just talking because it's LN, but the things we post here affect a few persons' psyche and eventually, actions.

Yes. Go and look it up if you doubt this. The Nigerian side suffered more army casualties but the Biafra side suffered more civilian casualties.
So the equation balanced off?
So both Nigeria and Biafra suffered great loses?
In order words, nobody was oppressed and 'massacred.'
Well I guess that's the meaning of "no victor...no vanquished."

The whole world knows that IPOB are a violent group yet the two Nigeria-based terrorist groups that made the top 4 of the world's deadliest terrorist group index were not IPOB? huh In fact, IPOB didn't even make the list at all.

On the other hand, the world knows that the Nigerian Army has a huge track record for human rights abuses- something that will be brought up once your inept government stops being of use to the West btw undecided.

The guy was right when he said that the Nigerian army couldn't defeat the Biafrans by themselves- they had tremendous support from the a British as well as a few Arab countries and even the USSR, I believe. Biafra only had military support from France but even that was very minimal. Still, the Nigerian army suffered more casualties than the Biafra army and took 3 whole years to win a war that should have been won in less than 3 months undecided.
"Still, the Nigerian army suffered more casualties than the Biafra army."

Are you sure about this?

It's not good to blame everybody except yourself for your failure because when you do, you deny yourself the rare opportunity of improving on yourself.

If the Igbos can be allowed into political positions in lagos, I think they won't mind an Anambra man being President. But in all honesty, how would you rate the east in terms of their political tolerance and involvement in Nigeria in recent times?

Mass sack and mass strikes in private sector and govt..

Then you should know that it is wrong for the FG to be protecting them while being biased towards other ethnic groups in the country.

The same reason is what brought about ISIS in iraq, crisis in libya and the rwandan genocide.

Politics aside, we should all learn to be objective and point out what is wrong when we see such. I'm also a buhari supporter but definately not a sycophant.

Favoritism in a multi ethnic/religious society does no one any good.
At this point I must come in and appreciate your intelligence and fairness. But are you saying the FGN should fold her arms and watch as things continue to deteriorate in the southeast?

You're being more diplomatic in your tone, guess you'd have more admirers & supporters if you were the leader.
But guess what, I'm not a supporter of IPOB because in Hatred nothing Is achieved.

Just to give you a few pointers..
1. Why tie your agitation to the Jewish religion?

2. Why is it filled with so much hatred even very obvious on this platform.

3. Why is there absence of sensitization and enlightenment from the leaders to their majority average supporter on the streets?

Let me please stop here dear.
Don't mean to pry but let me attempt question one.
Why tie your agitation to the Jewish religion?

It's generally believed, especially in the east (since most of us are christians), that Israel is a powerful nation that can't be defeated in battle because God is with them. And they are currently having problems with the muslim nations around them. Hence the strategy of identifying with them to lure them to support the agitation. Notice that when Ubama was the President of the USA, IPOB never hooked America to their agitation but since Trump emerged President (given his open disdain for muslims), they have being luring him by showing him support.
NK is no jew and does not believe in the jewish religion. All na strategy! Knowing how vulnerable people can be when their religious beliefs are tampered with.

You will never believe. As long as APC remains in power, everything must be wrong and bad in your eyes.
Every rational being knows that, just like someone who has being sick recuperates gradually, so is the Nigerian economy.

PoliticsRe: Idol Worshiping Faithfuls Are The Ones Delaying Biafra From Materialising - Kanu by RoyalUc(m): 9:23pm On Sep 04, 2017
‘What is delaying Biafra is that the people (Igbo) have not turned away totally from worshipping idols...We started suffering as soon as Arochukwu failed, because the people dabbled into idolatry. The Igbo should turn away from idolatry and face God and Him alone, that’s the message he said I should give my people.’

I feel NK's delimma. He never anticipated where he is today and so, overwhelmed by the praise and pressure, glory and gory. The people had put him high up there and he cannot come down without a consequence.

What would be the best thing to do? Look for what to use as an excuse. One that is difficult to set aside. Earlier, it was God sent me to restore Biafra. Now, "Igbo should turn away from idolatry and face God and Him alone, that’s the message he said I should give my people." Evangelist Nnamdi Kanu! It is therefore safe to conclude that as long as there is still an Igbo man that worships idol - including the priest that led him to the ancestorial home of the igbos where he bowed to pray - Biafra will not be actualized.

It is time for well-meaning igbos to put this guy aside and make genuine efforts to douse the tension in the region before it's too late.

look, the core north don't believe in equity, fairness and co,they believe they have every right to be the first and the rest last.
Only the southerners practice F.T.P.
We must always point at 'the north.' Which Nigerian leader has been seen to be absolutely fair and equitable to all?
Since the return of democracy, how many northernern had been President and how long have they ruled? Therefore today, they claim other Nigerians don't want them to complete 'their turn' as president.
As for dominating certain institutions, which region (especialy the three major regions) is free from that offence? How many non-indegenes do we have as students and staff in UNN, UNIZIK, UNICAL, UNUIUYO, UNIPORT, UNIBEN (I learned uniben is better though it is more of politicians candidates), etc and several other federal institutions in our various regions.

The North is not our problem. We are!

Stop making it a south east issues you guys are so selfish, there are other regions involved and you come here to say it's the south east only, that is why you guys can never achieve your Biafra dreams because of your selfish acts.

Instead putting heads together to see how this anormally can be corrected you want to make it a south east problem only, what about the south south, south west, middle belt.
That's exactly the problem with the south east.

grin grin grin

Bros, watin I do you na? Your fiancee tell you say I ask for her phone number? grin grin grin

Now, jokes apart. I was not in anyway supporting nepotism that has eaten deep into the fabrics of our national life. I don't support Buhari or any other leader appointing mostly, people from his region into positions where other Nigerians can properly fit in.

My worry is that, today the Northerners (or should I say most of them) are comfortable with this because it favors them and other regions are complaining. Tomorrow, we from the other side will defend same acts when it favors us while the others cry. If we feel it's wrong and condemn it today, let's do same tomorrow when our own takes charge.

I repeat. I believe in truth, equity, fairness, tolerance and peaceful coexustence.
